Bani Israel/Jew in the Quran

With the recent strike on Gaza by the Israelies, struck me to find out what the Quran have to say regarding Bani Israel,
So far here is my findings393 All the food was/is/became permitted/allowed to Israel's sons and daughters, except what Israel forbade on himself from before that the Torah (was) made to descend. Say "So come/bring with the Torah, so read/recite it if you were truthful."
1958 Those are those who God blessed/praised on them from the prophets from Adam's descendants; and from who We carried with Noah, , and from Abraham's and Israel's descendants, and from who We guided and We chose/purified, if the merciful's verses/evidences are read/recited on them they fell down prostrating and weeping .
• Contrary to popular believes, which is Bani Israel are decendant from Propher Jacob, Quran proves that there is a character called "Israel".
520 And when Moses said to his nation "You my nation mention/remember God's blessing/goodness on you when He put/created between you prophets, and He made you kings, and he gave you what he did not give anyone from the creations altogether/(universes).
521 You my nation, enter the earth the Holy that God wrote/dictated for you, and do not return on your backs, so you turn around losers ."
522 They said "You Moses, that in it (is) a nation (of) tyrants/rebels , and that we will never/not enter it until they get out from it, so if they get out from it, so we are entering."
523 Two men from those who fear (and) God blessed/comforted and eased on them (B), said "Enter on them (through) the door/entrance, so if you entered it, so that you are defeating/conquering, and on God so rely/depend , if you were/are believers."
524 They said "You Moses, we are never entering it, never, as long as they continued/lasted in it, so go you, and your Lord, so you both fight/kill, we are here, here sitting/remaining."
525 (Moses) said "My Lord, that I do not own/possess except myself and my brother, so separate between us and between the nation the debauchers ."
526 (God) said "So that it truly is forbidden/prohibited on them forty years, they stray/wander in the earth/Planet Earth, so do not grieve on the nation the debauchers ."• From the verse above, it seems like the God have wrote that "Holy Earth" to be assigned to the Bani Israel
• Because they have disobeyed God's orders, they are prohibited and wonder on the earth for fourty years
• Is the "Holy Earth" still theirs after fourty years?
172 And We gave/brought Moses The Book, and We made it guidance to Israel's sons and daughters; that you do not take from other than Me a guardian/protector .
173 Descendants (of) whom We carried/loaded with Noah, that he truly was a thankful/grateful worshipper/slave.
174 And We informed/carried out/completed to Israel's sons and daughters in The Book ,(that) you will corrupt/disorder (E) in the earth/Planet Earth twice, and you will become high and mighty (E) great height, might and dignity.
175 So if their (B)'s first/beginning (of the two times) came, We sent on (to) you worshippers/slaves for Us of strong (severe) power/mighty, so they went through/corrupting/destroying in between and around the homes/houses , and (it) was a made/done promise.
176 Then We returned to you the repeat/second time/repetition over them, and We extended/spread you with properties/possessions/wealths, and sons/sons and daughters, and We made you more (a larger) supportive tribe/family/group.
177 If you did good, you did good for yourselves, and if you did bad/evil/harm so for it (your selves), so if the last's/end's/other's promise came, they will cause God evil/harm (to) your faces/fronts, they will enter the Mosque like they entered it (on) the first/beginning time , and they will destroy/ruin/break (E) what they (the worshippers/slaves) rose over (with) destruction/ruin/breakage.
178 Maybe/perhaps that (E) your Lord has mercy upon you, and if you returned, We returned, and We made/put Hell confining/surrounding for the disbelievers.• Bani Israel is the is carried together is Noah's arc
• Bani Israel will cause corrupt on Earth twice It is understood that this "prophecy" have passed as they are defeated by Babylonians and the Romans
• Mosque mentioned in 177 perhaps refers to their the temple that their are trying to build in Juruselem?
17104 And We said from after him to Israel's sons and daughters "Reside/inhabit the land/Planet Earth , so if the ends' (other life's) promise came, We came with you (in) mixed crowds/huge gatherings .
• This seems like another prophecy, that when the end(Akhirat) promise came, Bani Israel's will be came with huge gathering. Is this what happening now?
So far, this is only relevant information that i found.. if others have any other facts from the Quran please help to share here..Objective here is to find out as much as we can about Bani Israel from the Quran.

O children of Israel! call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and be faithful to (your) covenant with Me, I will fulfill (My) covenant with you; and of Me, Me alone, should you be afraid.
And believe in what I have revealed, verifying that which is with you, and be not the first to deny it, neither take a mean price in exchange for My communications; and Me, Me alone should you fear.
And do not mix up the truth with the falsehood, nor hide the truth while you know (it).
And keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and bow down with those who bow down.
What! do you enjoin men to be good and neglect your own souls while you read the Book; have you then no sense?
O children of Israel! call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and that I made you excel the nations.
Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the f Christians, and the Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve.
And certainly you have known those among you who exceeded the limits of the Sabbath, so We said to them Be (as) apes, despised and hated.And there's much much more...

Yes acording to the Bible Jacob is actually named Israel, however we see a different story from the Quran
172 And We gave/brought Moses The Book, and We made it guidance to Israel's sons and daughters; that you do not take from other than Me a guardian/protector .
173 Descendants (of) whom We carried/loaded with Noah, that he truly was a thankful/grateful worshipper/slave.• Bani Israel descendant was carried together in Noah's Arc
683 And that (is) Our proof/argument, We gave/brought it (to) Abraham on (to) his nation, We raise steps/stages (of) whom We will/want, that your lord (is) wise/judicious, knowledgeable.
684 And We granted to him Issac, and Jacob, each/all We guided, and Noah We guided from before, and from his descendants (are) David, and Soliman, and Job, and Joseph, and Moses, and Aaron, and like that We reward the good do
685 And Zacharias/Zachary, and John, and Jesus, and Elias, all/each (is) from the correct/righteous.
686 And Ishmael, and Elija, and Jonah, and Lot, and each/all We preferred/favoured on the creations altogether/(universes).
687 And from their fathers/forefathers, and their descendants, and their brothers, and We chose/purified them and We guided them to a straight/direct road/way.
688 That (is) God's guidance, He guides with it whom He wills/wants from His worshippers/slaves, and if they shared/made partners (with God), what they were making/doing/working would have been wasted/invalidated from them.• Jocob was the decendant of Abraham
• As mentioned in 684, Noah was guided before(Abraham)
• Since we know Bani Israel was carried together with Noah, hence Bani Israel must have existed before Abraham
Also note that 1958 mentioned Israel's name, hence it must be a some person who lived before Noah

In the Qur'an, as for God, bani israel (who then became jews) are just people like the others.
"Or do you say that Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Patriarchs were all Jewish or Nazarene?" Say, "Are you more knowledgeable or is God?" Who is more wicked than one who conceals a testimony with him from God? God is not oblivious of what you do." (2140)
"That was a community from the past. They are responsible for what they earned, and you are responsible for what you earned. You are not answerable for anything they did." (2141)

• Since we know Bani Israel was carried together with Noah, hence Bani Israel must have existed before Abraham
I came with different interpretations with you on those verses.
And God gave MOSES the Book, The Book was made as guidance to Israel's sons and daugther.
Moses and/or Israel's sons and daughter was the descendant of those people whom God carried with Noah...There also other people which was the descendant of those people who God carried with Noah (but not mentioned in the verse), and Israel's sons and daughter is just one of them...

It's interesting to note; the words "HADU" , "HUDAN" and "BANI ISRAIL" usually get interpreted by people as the same thing; "Jews".
Based on my observation; Quran usually uses the word "BANI ISRAIL" if it refers to the Jews as a race / group of people, while uses the words "HUDAN" if it refers to the faith / sect (JUDAISM) of the jews (at that time). Not all Jews follows JUDAISM and JUDAISM by itself branches and evolved into hundreds of sects, with Christianity as one of them, which has also evolved and branches into hundreds of sects.
The verse should read
"Or do you say that Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Patriarchs were all JUDAISM or Nazarene?" Say, "Are you more knowledgeable or is God?" Who is more wicked than one who conceals a testimony with him from God? God is not oblivious of what you do." (2140)It is correct to say that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob were NOT followers of JUDAISM or Nazarene (or Suniism, Shiaism, Sufiism, Nationalism, Communism, Quran Aloner etc..)

There also other people which was the descendant of those people who God carried with Noah (but not mentioned in the verse), and Israel's sons and daughter is just one of them...

Agreed.
Since Noah exist before Abraham and Jocob is the decendant of Abraham, Children of Jocob(bani israel per your understanding) cant exist at the time of Noah. Israel was another personality which is just mentioned briefly in the Quran. Agree?

salamWell I couldn't care less about that.. (wheter Israel eq Jacob or not).. so i neither agree or disagree...
But within the mid-east region (which was happen to be the geographical context of the Quran), the people / group of people who often referenced themselves as Bani Israel (Hebrew Beney Yisreel) is the jews...
Now; regarding the literal meaning of ISRA-EL, i disagree with most of the jews (and also the bible) which say that it is "Those who wrestle with GOD" with reference of Jacob doing some wrestling match with God and won, as told in the book of Genesis (Or Bereshit as they call it). I regard those wrestling match story as a pure myth...
ISRA as in AL-ISRA means "Journey/Travel", and EL is GOD.
Thus ISRA-EL could literally means "Those who Journeyed/Travelled with God" or "Those who God makes to Travel/Journey".
A description which fit Jacob and also its descendant...Salam / Peace

Thus, as of 247, the children of Israel is the nation favoured by God. And God has made them to excel above other nations. How can Palestinians fight such a mighty nation. They may fight but not without causing grievous hurts and digh death tolls to the innocent children of Philis. The children of Israel are a special breed of people that they excel in every enterprises they indulge in. They are the best business people of the world that their businesses fluorishes on top of others. They succeed enormously in the fields of education and science. They grow mightier daily in the political and economics arena. Each new products ranging from foods to materials has their endorsements technologically and scientifically in every aspects. Shortly, they will make up the largest and strongest population in the world. Unastonishingly, Africans, Americans, Chinese, Indians, Indonesians and many other races hve been listed as the children of Israel through blood relations.
