This is in response to your last two posts which should give you a fairly good idea about me and my concerns. Firstly, I?m not sure if you are truly aware of what?s going on here. I understand that you are fairly new on this forum and while I agree to your point a, the point b along with your last paragraph can be considered a judgemental call as observed from your post. The beef people have against me has been expressed, communicated and reiterated but keeps popping up. This behaviour is clearly seen amongst others as well for whatever their personal agendas. If you haven?t realized this yet, then I?m afraid you need to spend more time in studying all sections and threads of this forum, i.e. if you have the time, otherwise all subject matters already discussed continue to become unecessarily repetitious with lenthy posts, like this one.
The goal is to discuss, analyze and understand the Quran from various perspectives. While I understand that Muslims believe in its divine origin or ?Allah?s? words and throughout my own past lifetime (being a born Muslim), I too, was a strict proponent until recently. Why, because like many others, I too have read, analyzed and understood it several times for what it professes, both internally and externally and looking at it from various angles to better understand it. This, then brings about my criticisms which has taken another unprecedented meaning of ?mocking? or ?defecations/urinations? along with other provocative, contemptuous and abusive language directed towards my person as a ?quran basher?, ?evil doer?, ?devil?, ?disbeliver? and so forth, which then gets confronted and retaliated by me. Keeping that in mind, members must use caution and care to discuss these criticisms by reason instead of cussing their hearts out, deliberating diversion from subject matter and causing further ill-will to the forum whereupon other cheerleaders march along with the pretense to promote this flare up even further by rage, hate and anger without involving themselves in discussion. I personally believe that members who are intelligent and knowledgeable enough in analyzing and evaluating my criticisms should step forward and present their viewpoints by proper discussion without alienating the subject matter and show discipline and diligence in discussion and respect to each other. This is not meant to gesture favoritism or cheerleading and certainly not meant for weak hearted, excited and dogmatic mind setters.
I take Quran to be nothing more than a written historical book as the foremost criteria and no one can deny that. Surely, there are words of wisdom and reflection to be contemplated in the Quran and so are contained in other librettos and medias but the claim that it is absolutely divine, Allah?s words and for all times, is a big question mark and that?s what I am concerned with. I do solemnly believe that there is a ?maker? (GOD) of our creations but that mustn?t stop anyone from questioning and discussing this ?maker? and as well as the Quran.
