    Peace to All!

The Quran/God lead me to God/Quran Alone . After reading the Quran (in English) and reading some hadith and sunnah and seeing how they contradict the Quran, I couldnt understand how anyone could follow them. I then began searching the web for Quran alone websites, which eventually led me here.
I am trying to follow Quran alone and to learn more about True Islam.

    Peace

Peace Kadeen, and Welcome to the Forum!

Here are some good websites on considering the concept of "God ALONE Quran ALONE"

        http//www.quranalone.com/
        http//www.masjidtucson.org/index.html
        http//www.quran-islam.org/208.html
        http//www.freewebs.com/tawhiyd/index.htm

There are plenty of other ones too. I don't necessarily agree with every perspective of the website hosters, but I completely agree with the concept of "Quran alone", and I think these sites (and others) give a very good basis on this issue, giving plenty of necessary information regarding hadiths, sunna, and the Reading ("Quran&quot itself. If you'd like, you should check them out, and you'll find plenty of useful information...

        Peace,

        Ahmad

            peace.

            Welcome to the forum.

I strongly recommend utilising the tools at www.StudyQuran.org

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

I wasnt born Muslim, but consider myself looking to prove to myself that Quran and Islam as it says in Quran is true. Its getting harder and harder to understand some things. Thats one reason I came here, to hopefully learn. God willing this site may help me.

Thanks and May God Bless you aswell!

I agree discussion and debate and the internet are useful. Well its hard to understand at times. I see 2 salats and some see more, some see none. So its confussing at times. Just look around at all the different opinions for example. If its as plain and simple that is spoken of, then there would not be so many opinions amongst Quran Alone Submitters/Muslims. Because it would be plain to understand.
                                Peace

I know what he's talking about, brother. This is his own innovation, as Rashad Khalifa never started a group known as "Rasidiyyas". I was simply addressing the fact that he's spreading nonsense. Rashad Khalifa never started his own sect, just like Muhammad or Jesus never started their own religions called Islam or Christianity... Rashad Khalifa called his followers by many names (i.e. submitters, believers, God aloners, Quran aloners, etc.), but Rasidiyyas was definately not one of them... It's amazing how many people condemn Rashad Khalifa, a supporter of preaching the doctrines of "Quran alone", even the so-called "Quran aloners". In reality, people could learn a lot from Rashad Khalifa's teachings and example, especially concerning his concept of "GOD ALONE QURAN ALONE"...

                                    Peace,

Once I heard a similar story about Wehab

Well, contrary to popular belief, Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab wasn't intending to start his own sect either. His followers later started idolizing him, after his death. He didn't base his doctrines on "alquran alone" either; he followed the hadith and sunna extremely closely, and his intention was ridding Islam of it's cultural practices and interpretations, especially the ones that conflicted with the hadith and sunna. Many followers later distorted, and even abandoned, some of his teachings. Others have enforced them to the extreme, to the point of being called extremists and terrorists... Wahhab's doctrine of what he considered pure monotheism forbade his followers from calling themselves "Wahhabis", which is why they still don't use this term today. Instead, they call themselves "al-Muwahhidun", "Salaafi", "Salaafi Daa'wa", or "Ahl al-Sunna wa'al-Jamaa"...

When did Rashad Khalifa instruct his followers to call themselves "Khalifites", "Rasidiyyas", "19ers", or anything else like this? You are preaching an innovation, and none of your words justify your claim of them being labeled by this title, no matter how much you talk about it. You'll never find a submitter calling himself a "19er" or a "Rasidiyya", not ever. Maybe you should take this into consideration when determining your choice of names (or labels) for people...
