    Peace,

    Iblis/sjeitan=rebel/slanderer/distanted from God(shaat=rope)(refers to i my eyes, the rebelious side of man that is like fire)

    malikah=ones in control/authority/responsibility

    jinn=something concealed for man's senses/hidden/rarely seen

    Combine these

    The rebelious side of man is something with authority/has control on our Self/conciousness and is concealed for our sense's/conciousness.

    As it is part of our conciousness, this rebelious/destructive side of us is so natural, it is concealed between all the good parts of our conciousness, so we are not directly aware of it's control/authority on our conciousness.

      Just because things are described and mentioned with voices in the reading, it does not make those things ALIVE or possessing a life like we know it.

      Absolute nonsense. Everybody knows that ants and birds talk. In fact, never let the ants inside your house, youll never get rid of those coffee and donut munching chatterboxes, and they tell terrible jokes.

      Peace

        Peace be upon you all,

        I do think that the controllers are doing the work, while the human vehicle is the effect. God/Consciousness WILLS things into being, Energy/Matter carries it out.

        The article, in my opinion is not complete but touches on some correct statements.

          Peace all.

          Ok this is as good a thread as any to ask about Iblis being our fiery side/emotions. I have absolutely no qualms with changing views and adopting what makes most sense and whatever is internally consistent with the Qur'an. Just want to put that out there; I go where the evidence takes me.

          With all that said, can those of you who do hold this view (Kyle, arnold, etc.) clear a few things up for me? From what I can gather about the view, Iblis is just a side of man (a rebellious or fiery side) and not a separate entity. A lot of the verses, I admit, do make sense within that worldview (i.e. the verses about Adam and his companion being duped by Iblis/their emotions). Assuming Iblis is but an aspect of our own human nature, however, how does that jive with verses like 712?

          To be honest, I do find it interesting that when the "devil" is mentioned in the reading, it is frequently mentioned as "whispering" to us (720, 7200, 20120,etc.), implying there is some connection there between devil and non-devil, a connection that is closer than that of two separate entities. And when we cross-reference that with 5016, a potentially very interesting connection arises

          5016 "We created the human, and we know what he whispers to himself. We are closer to him than his jugular vein.

          The devil whispers to us and we whisper to ourselves. Perhaps the "devil" is a part of us, that part which whispers to the other part.

          Anyway, I hope you guys can elucidate further. Thanks.

                Malaikah is not angel, malikah is energi (from the word malak), men shall probable be a malaikah when his energy is fully controlled by God as he manages to throw out his nafs that making his life only to devote to God only - not to human beings and their constitutions-. So we can say universe is Allah's malaikah as their movements are fully controlleh by God.

                Since man failed to control himself as malaikah since his nafs emerges again for the reason envy to Adam, he turned to be satan (a creature denies Allah's order).

                  Malak means realm, control, authority. It doesn't refer to energy.....I do agree that the word angel gives a wrong view on the word malikah, as this refers to powers of nature and beings that have authority like the messenger malikah. The Quran clearly states that we are created as we are now, and not as angels. Sjeitan is the evil side of mankind, a part of us that we can control or we can be controlled by it. As nafs means 'Self', conciousness, soul. The Quran doesn't say we have to kill our nafs, but form it into the best state. And adam is mankind....

                    I agree that "malaika" translates as "controller", but the implication is that it is an energy. We can further strengthen this position by noting that "malaika" as well as "shayteen" are both under the classification of "jinn", which we are told are made of a "smokeless fire", therefore Energy.

                    "Ruh Al Qudus", the Divine Energy of the God manifests as the "controllers". We see them together in verses such as;

                    (162) He descends the controllers with the Energy from His order/command on whom He wills/wants from His servants, that warn/give notice, that He is, no God except Me, so fear and obey Me.

                    As well as other verses.
