    Peace

I know this thread is really old but I think it's important to discuss. Hopefully someone will take notice.

    In regards to Article II

    1. Freedom Of Movement

All people may travel freely throughout the public lands of the republic and exit its borders with no hindrance, restriction, or delay. Such right extends to include the movement of goods. (Quran 2956)

I think there needs to be some kind of ammendment. In the world we live in today, it would be naiive to believe nobody would take advantage of unrestricted, free and open borders. Drug traffiking, weaponry, spies, and a safe-haven for terrorists comes to mind.

I think this entire constitution is an excellent start and is a great addition to the God-Alone, quran-alone movement. God-Willing, we could one day impliment such a constitution in our lifetimes )

    Peace All

P.S. Whatever happened to KGB? I miss the insights he/she shared with us on this forum

      Layth,
For the figures, I'd suggest you make them non-floating in the ms word document (unless you do not intend to release it) ... floating figures will create problems for you while editing, although this is a minor issue

I am not sure what you mean. Can you please expand on which figures you refer to?

          Hi Layth,

Well like in Section 3, the structure of the government, where you have the block layout, just right-click on the diagram, go to "Format Picture" in the context menu. A dialog box will appear; go to "Position" and then take the check mark off from the "Float over text" check-box. That will solve the problem.

By the way, a very elaborate initiative.

I will provide feedback as I progress...

One thing I see is that no one seems to be responsible for establishing flow of accurate and verifiable information between the different departments and sectors and maintaining the information infrastructure in the state... There needs to be a separate body, like a department or ministry of information/media/relations. Please let me know if I have missed something.

            Reference
1736 And you shall not follow blindly any information of which you have no direct knowledge. you must verify it for yourself. In the Court of your Lord, you will be held accountable for your hearing, sight, and the faculty of reasoning.
