His similitude is that of a dog if you attack him, he lolls out his tongue, or if you leave him alone, he lolls out his tongue. And certainly We have created for hell many of the jinn and the men; they have hearts with which they do not understand, and they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear; they are as cattle, nay, they are worse! These are the heedless ones.In the above ayat when Allah says worse than the cattle, it means some beast that we do not know, but of our nature can be imagined as the worse than the worst in despise and evil. Man is judged by his deeds. Whoso rejects Allah's remembrance they will be punished according to the grade and degree of his own evil. In this way, every man with evil rejection in his heart, has a beast of him prepared as witness against him on the Last Day.
Allah says
We have indeed created man in the best of making;
Then do We abase him - the lowest of the low.On the last day each one bound for hell shall bear a witness of his nature that shall speak against his deeds. And also his beastly hands, legs and skins shall speak what they used to do. Thus a dog of his nature, a cattle of his nature, a swine or an ape of his nature or worse than the worst of whatever his nature was will be brought as witness against him. For, as long as he lived, he lived in the community of his beastly nature and on the last day a witness will be produced against him from among his own community.

Respectfully.Is it possible that this beast is a lie detector machine?
Afterall, they plug you to it and one can tell if you are lying or telling the truth.
It would be interesting to plug the president of USA to it or a cop or an imam or some homeless guy ... wouldn't it?
Just ask the president while he is on the lie detector machine"Mr., president (Bush), did you your men to destroy World Trade Center so you could go to Iraq?"

The following is a rendition I reviewed when I was reviewing ourbeacon.com, in QXP on line section of that site, along with a few of other together. The meaning of the inner beast explained below, may be understood if we look at the previous Ayat where those people are being pointed out who do not understand things inspite of all obvious signs and stay among the deniars. It is then stated, Dabbatam-min-Al-ardh , which below possibly could mean the humbled ones will tell those people as to how they are wrong or alternatively man?s earthly and materialistic outlook on life will itself tell it to them as to how they were wrong and had no real faith. (Please look at the following rendition )
2781Nor can you lead the blind of reason out of their error. You can only make those hear who believe in Our signs, so they submit.
2782When the Word comes to pass against them, We will raise a creature unto them out of the earth that will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our messages. ( See above underlined section also )
2783And times shall come when defiance of Our Laws will cause forces from every nation to assemble in alliances and meet one another in combat.
2784When they arrive, He will say, ?Did you deny My revelations, before acquiring knowledge about them? Or what else was it that you were doing??
2785And the word of truth will stand revealed against them for all the wrongs they had committed. Then they will not utter a single word.

Human is a creation of a combination of physical and meta-physical force. In other words he is a blend of body and mind. He cannot drift away from each other - either exclusively in the way of mind or the body. Between the two the mind shall be superior having absolute control over the body, the material and matters over those in the earth, in the heavens and in the matters in between. If the man drops from his mind he is lost; he descends to the lowest of the low, when the body gains control over him, making him fall to sickness mentally and physically thus allowing upon himself the pain and strain of his life; and so also the fury of all nature around him. Every organ and sense are special organs and senses. Eyes just do not see but senses and registers its action; likewise the ears registers what it hears and the skin registers all that it feels and enjoys. On the day of judgment the mouth and tongue will not move; but the skin and the eyes and ears speak of what you used to do during your life on the earth. It is like being an animal - since animals do not talk but react only with body language. On that day we know the languages of all creatures and creations. Even the idol worshippers and their idols converse with each other.
It is a must we comprehend Quran with body, mind and soul together. Totally trying to understand esoterically may fall only as assumption and make us fail.
