If You Are To Follow The Rasul

"Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered ProphetWe shall follow Quran in the way of The Rasul, The Unlettered, believing only in Allah, seeking His wisdom through dikr - pondering for the circumstantial and timely delivery of His Guidance for the best life. Instead, it has become a show and fashion among the Readers to seek guidance from the lexicons and grammar. This is not the way of "The Unlettered".

No questions regarding the importance of pondering and praying for guidance. The purpose of lexicons , however is not to seek guidance, but for people like us, unletterd in the language in which the Book was revealed, just to figure out, at the least, as to what is being written and said there. Thats all. The reason for resorting to it , moreover, is the very fact that Muslims have been burnt badly by presumed meanings offered by a lot of Qur'Aan translating scholars, based on their understanding from Hadith and history books, thus inadvertantly deviating us from the real meanings and possibly the message. This at least gives us an unbiased literal meanings of the letters and the words used in the Book, so we could then ponder on it, rather than believing in the biased meanings offered otherwise.

" Indeed Allah conferred a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a Messenger (Muhammad م from among themselves, reciting unto them His Verses (the Qur'an), and purifying them (from sins by their following him), and instructing them (in) the Book (the Qur'an) and Al-Hikmah , while before that they had been in manifest error " (3164 ) .
Is this not one of the verses that we need to identify god's messengers ?

Brother almarh0m,
There are a few questions to start with in the following Ayat, listed below
" Indeed Allah conferred a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a Messenger (Muhammad م from among themselves, reciting unto them His Verses (the Qur'an), and purifying them (from sins by their following him), and instructing them (in) the Book (the Qur'an) and Al-Hikmah , while before that they had been in manifest error " (3164 ) .
- Do you really mean what you have given in the brackets are necessary?
- When He sent among them a messenger or the messenger?
- Al-Hikmah means Hadiths?
- Was every body in manifest error? Or there are already people in their respective communities who knew of the Book before even the messengers are or a messenger is chosen?
Peace.

Brother , I am sure you can see that I merely copy pasted the above translation as I have only access to two translations at the moment . I would have preferred to use my own version , but at this stage I am not ready yet . As for your question number 1-3 , the answer is negative for #1 , a for #2 , not at all for #3 , as for #4 , you know as well anyone here that god sent prophets and messengers to every tribes and nations in the past and in their own languages , so the answer obviously .....only the people who never received any revelations or guidance who were in manifest errors .

Your personal translation will be valued and I believe more valuable than all the existing translations, however great they may be. Awaiting individualistic fresh translation always.
Your response to the questions is heart warming. With regard to #4,
10 94
But if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed to you, ask those who read the Book before you; certainly the truth has come to you from your Lord, therefore you should not be of the disputers. And there are many more ayats confirming and conforming to this. Could you relate this ayat to your answer #4 and clarify?
Peace.

." He it is Who raised among the inhabitants a Messenger from among themselves, who recites to them His communications and purifies them, and teaches them the Book and the Wisdom, although they were before certainly in clear error " ( 622 ).
I hope this is sufficient for now Brother .

Seek from Him! And know your respective Messengers, now!
Follow 6 20Allah says if you have dispute in matters of your life or religion come to the Book and the Messenger. Muhammad is not existing today to clarify the disputes and endless arguments over verses of Quran. There is this general saying "In the absence of Muhammad refer the hadiths; and referring hadiths is like following the messenger". Yet the whole world knows that the hadiths are the main source of all disputes, not only among the muslims but its contents also cause terror in the minds of the sane humans all over the world!
As per Allah's command, we return to the Book, but then to the messenger?
