    Peace..

I thought I would tell you all about this really ?freaky out of body experience? I had recently. I don't expect there is any real explanation but I wondered if anyone has had a similar experience. I've never been pre-occupied with paranormal issues; in fact I?d say that I?m rather dubious about such matters. Issues that I can not verify clearly by the Quran I tend to leave well alone, however a couple of weeks ago I was having the ??weekend from hell.?? Toothache started early Saturday evening. I wrestled with the pain until 1am then cracked open some paracetamol, Those pain killers never touched the pain and I was awake all night in agony. On the next day I went to seek emergency dental treatment, but I?d missed the opportunity for the emergency service in my own area. I bought some stronger pain killers (co-codamol and some anti inflammatory.) The dental pain I was experiencing was so excruciating that it was leaving me breathless. All I could do was hang onto something solid and concentrate my full efforts upon dealing with the pain. On top of all this also had some family tensions and problems to deal with. At 5pm I went to lay down on my bed feeling depressed, exhausted and very emotionally and physically shattered. I guess I drifted off to sleep and that's when life got really weird. I woke up to see people, ?men? to be exact standing in front of me. I sensed I was in a reclining position. I was confused as to where I was, one half of me considered I wasn?t in my room yet there was no specific landmark to identify I was somewhere else. The man I was observing didn't appear to notice me, he seemed in conversation with another figure, I will never forget the exquisite beauty of that man. I was not in any pain and felt very peaceful and happy just watching this beautiful being. A feature which stood out about his person was his attire, he was wearing wot seemed like a long gown/coat/robe of ' I kid you not' green brocade. After what seemed only minutes I noticed another man stood very close by me. He was not unpleasant to look at, but his face was devoid of all expression. The man was not wearing the green attire of the others. He said one sentence to me '' It's time to go'' Now my mood changed very rapidly from one of peace and happiness to fear and alarm. I really did not want to go with this character yet in my heart I knew that there would be no way for me to refuse him and I got a sense of not being able to call upon my family or any other person to rescue me from the request of this stranger. I didn?t get any sense or feeling of where it was I had to go with him I only felt I really didn?t want to go. Instead I turned away from him and started to pray to Allah to help me. I don't know what happened because the next second I found myself on my bed laid flat on my back, eyes wide open and conscious, but I was not breathing and I couldn?t feel any sense of a heart beat but within seconds there was a huge thud within my body and I had a feeling of being restored to it. I was not in any pain during the whole episode and wots more by 8pm that same evening my dental pain had completely ceased. What Could have happened to me? Temporary insanity or was this some kind of spiritual experience? I?m really shocked more than anything that this happened to me, I?ve considered maybe it was effects of the co coda mol tablets. Messing my mind up. Has anyone ever heard of over the counter pain killers having this kind of side effect? I?m also wondering did I die! but then I thought if the man who told me it was ?time to go? was the Angel of death I would not be here now. I can?t say the experience has traumatised me but I do keep returning to it in my mind and trying to resolve it with some kind of rational explanation. I know that people may suggest I was just dreaming and certainly I would buy that (even though I?ve never had such an extraordinary dream in my life ) except for the fact that I was very much awake and conscious when I felt the jolt in my body. Well I?ll leave it with you. Hopefully someone who reads this may have had a similar experience.

    Love n peace

It could have been an OBE but more likely, it was a hypnagogic hallucination. This occurs when you are about to sleep and your body enters the typical state of paralysis and starts dreaming but you are not fully asleep. The end result is dreaming while half awake and your brain attempting to make sense of the mixed inputs it is recieving/creating, resulting in all sorts of freaky occurences. Take them in stride, it's a very interesting headspace which I tend to play with a lot.

        A very interesting experience )

The only one thing we truly know is that we don't know all that much. What you experienced could very well be metaphysical. No one can attest to how real it was, except you. I've had a few interesting experiences of my own in my youth, but at the time I was obsessed with Djinn, the unseen worlds and mythologies of various cultures. And I was reading Morals and Dogma by Albert Pike, seeking to unlock the secrets of the Templars.

In retrospect, I can chalk it off as my subconscious playing games with me, but I can remember them being real to me at the time. I honestly believe that there is much more than what is readily apparent. Something is animating our bodies, all those who've died are somewhere. If we were created, and we are sentient; who are we to say that we, and our dimension, are all that exist.

If you were given a peek beyond the veil while you still live, then you are lucky )

I used to get hypnagogic hallucinations a lot but it isnt anything like Bedouin's experience. I feel paralysed in bed and don't see anything except a shadow (some people see 'the old hag&#039. It walks towards me and as it nears my chest I feel like I can't breath. As it arrives at my head, I feel as if my brain is being crushed. then it goes back and it returns, and it does this a few times.
