*Messenger of The Qur'an* was there more than one ?

Salamun alaykum
(All) praise is due to Allah, Who revealed the Book to His servant and did not make in it any crookedness.
I am just wondering if the revelation of the Qur'an whenever it was , could have been revealed to more than one 'Messenger' . The reason I asking this question is ........if "muhammad" was not a proper name but rather a common noun , then this question is not too far fetched at all , and even if "muhammad" was both a proper noun and common noun , there are precendence in The Qur'an about prophets/messengers having contemporaries .
We all know in FM that the duty of a messenger is to convey the message given to them by the God and in a few cases mentioned in The Qur'an , some messengers delivered the same message to their respective people . Before I go on to look at these few cases , I'd like to remind myself and others that there are lots of prophets/messengers that The God did not mention by names in AQ , what is clear however , they were/are all send by Allah , as we can see in the following verses
"He it is Who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth, that He might cause it to prevail over all religions, though the polytheists may be averse" (933).
"He it is Who sent His Messenger with the guidance and the true religion that He may make it prevail over all the religions; and Allah is enough for a witness"(482. And again
"He it is Who sent His Messenger with the guidance and the true religion, that He may make it overcome the religions, all of them, though the polytheists may be averse" (619) .
As we already know that Ibrahim and Luth ( Abraham & Lot ) were contemporaies as confirmed by these verses
"And when Our messengers came to Ibrahim with the good news, they said Surely we are going to destroy the people of this town, for its people are unjust" (2931) .
"He said Surely in it is Lut. They said We know well who is in it; we shall certainly deliver him and his followers, except his wife; she shall be of those who remain behind" (2932) .
From the above verses , I cannot see a valid reason as to why "The Qur'an" was only delivered or preached by one messenger only , especially if we can see other examples of Prophet/Messengers sent at the same time to the same people with the same message . I am referring to Isma'il and Isaac here as well as Moses and Aaron in addition to the Ibrahim and Luth in the first instant .
If someone can prove it conclusively that "Muhammad" is a 'proper name' and not a 'common noun' or description of character , then I would be inclined towards a "Messenger of The Qur'an" that is mentioned in the Qur'an by this name . However , should "muhammad" be found to be both a proper name and a description of a character then I would still be wondering whether this "Prophet Muhammad" was the sole messenger and recipient of The Qur'an . Here are the verses that mention "muhammad" to help us towards a better understanding of The Message
"And Muhammad is no more than a messenger; the messengers have already passed away before him; if then he dies or is killed will you turn back upon your heels? And whoever turns back upon his heels, he will by no means do harm to Allah in the least and Allah will reward the grateful" (3144 ).

"Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the Last of the prophets; and Allah is cognizant of all things" (3340) .
"And (as for) those who believe and do good, and believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad, and it is the very truth from their Lord, He will remove their evil from them and improve their condition " (472).
" Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those with him are firm of heart against the unbelievers, compassionate among themselves; you will see them bowing down, prostrating themselves, seeking grace from Allah and pleasure; their marks are in their faces because of the effect of prostration; that is their description in the Taurat and their description in the Injeel; like as seed-produce that puts forth its sprout, then strengthens it, so it becomes stout and stands firmly on its stem, delighting the sowers that He may enrage the unbelievers on account of them; Allah has promised those among them who believe and do good, forgiveness and a great reward " (4829).
I am looking forward to hearing from any Brothers or Sisters who can help me to better understand this question which may turn out to be a non issue to other people at all . My sincere thank you for any assistance rendered .
