      Peace

3 102 O Believers! Fear Allah in the manner He is to be feared; and
die not but while you are peaceful with Allah.

Please compare the above 3102 and this verse below .

"The dwellers of the desert say We believe. Say You do not believe but say, We submit; and faith has not yet entered into your hearts; and if you obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not diminish aught of your deeds; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful" (4914 )

Can you see the difference as to the 'muslim' and 'believer' in the 2 ayats above ? Thanks .

      Peace

        peace,

Let's say God were to recommend us not to die except in a certain state, would He recommend the maximum attainable state (i.e. most difficult to achieve) or the minimum for success?

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

          Peace almarhom,

Believers are included in peacemakers/muslimeen (see 227. So all believers are automatically peacemakers/muslims but not all muslims are believers as per 4914. Also believers have twice the reward (2854). So peacemaking is a lower state and believing is a higher state.

A believer can believe and then reject and then believe and then reject and then believe and such a person would still be a believer if dies in the state of belief. The God is telling them to at least make sure they die in the state of a peacemaker/muslim, which is a lower state than a believer.

4137 Those who believe, then reject, then believe, then reject, then they increase in rejection; God was neither to forgive them nor to guide them to the path.

From this it follows that the following is also possible

          Believer -----> rejecter -------> muslim -------> believer -------> rejecter -------> muslim etc.

God is telling them to at least make sure they die in the "muslim" stage .

            Dear Truth seekr
Do you want to say that it is essential for them to die in "muslim" state but not essential to die in a "believer" state ?
Did I get your correctly ?

              Peace student,

If your teacher tells you that 30% score is enough to pass the exam, is the teacher telling you that you should not try to score 99% and go for the merit scholarship ?

I am sorry but I cannot engage in such nonsensical discussions.

                Dear Brother
Might be non sensical from your point of view. But being student ,I know that consequences of this world are going to affect the next world result.

Are muslims entitled to get Jannah or not ?
If yes then it is ok . If not what is the purpose of saying by Allah you should be "at least " muslim when you die. (The word "at least" has not been used by Allah).

                In your post you also said ;

Please read your own post ...the first line above ....aren't you contradicting yourself here ? I asked for 3102 to be contrasted and compared to 4914 re 'Believer' and 'Muslim' in both ayats . What is the relevance 4137 in all of this ? ( this ayat deals with 'heresy' ).

                  Peace

                    Peace all

                    The definition of Believers

Believers are those who believe in God and His messenger, then they became without doubt, and they strive with their money and their lives in the cause of God. These are the truthful ones.
                    4915

On the other hand, state of islam is the state of Submitting to God by submitting to His Laws (hence, being a true "Abed" (slave) to Allah and not to Human "Imams" and that is the minimum of wining the Janah and staying away from Hellfire. Because if we submit to other laws, then we become Moshrekeen (i.e., associate to God what He did not order in Say in His Book)

Based on the above, the believer is the one who submits, first stage (minimum requirment), and then he become without doubt, and then he strive to spread the truth of His Lord and fight against Lies, using all his resources.

Therefore, 3-102 is requiring us to meet the minimum requirement, if we choose to not spread the truth and fight lies.

According to verse 3102, the a3raab, who were described as hypocrites, were considered muslims, this is because you can do some vices as long as you do not hurt anyone else.

"O you who believe! be careful of (your duty to) Allah with the care which is due to Him, and do not die unless you are Muslims" (3102).

My understanding of the verse is that it speaks about the way we should die we should not die by being aggressive, in a fight with someone for trivial cause, in an ulawful war...etc where we would casue unnecessary, unjustified harm to others.

If being a "Believer" is higer in status than a "peacemaker/submitter" , than why is it the already believing "believers" are asked to submit again as in 3102 ? I am aware that 4915 defines some of the atributes of a believer , and there are many more ayats that gives other atributes of a believer and if one has to be a muslim first in order to be a 'Believer' then a believer should be atomatically a muslim already .

" O you who believe! bow down and prostrate yourselves and serve your Lord, and do good that you may succeed " ( 2277 ) .

There are far too many ayats that give description of believers and what they do , and if believers are higher in ranks than muslims , could you please lead me to it other than 4914 ? Or perhaps I just found the answer in this next ayat ?

" And when it is recited to them they say We believe in it surely it is the truth from our Lord; surely we were submitters before this " ( 2853 ) .

Peace and may Allah increases our knowledge and wisdom .

What is the Arabic WORD for SUBMITTING?
What is the Arabic WORD for BELIEVING?

                              1- Raka3a/sajada
                              2- Saddaqa

                              A person who is Homosexual
                              A person who eats Pork

This is a weird question. However, I will try answering it by basing my answer on the given action only, without taking into consideration any other good or bad action
                              1- Muslim
                              2- Muslim
                              3- Muslim
4- No. This is "mushrik". It's an active harm to others.
5- No. Active harm using others, unless you think that these women are happy being exploited in this low way.

                                1- Raka3a/sajada
                                2- Saddaqa

When his Lord said to him ?Submit,? he said ?I submit to the Lord of the worlds.?
                                2131

The above red arabic words refer to the true meaning of islam--Submitting to the Lord of the Worlds.

                                Saddaqa means believed...I agree.
Therefore, Momeneen = Saddaqa "Believed" + became without doubt + strived with their money and their lives in the cause of God; hence 49-15.

This is a weird question. However, I will try answering it by basing my answer on the given action only, without taking into consideration any other good or bad action
                                1- Muslim
                                2- Muslim
                                3- Muslim
4- No. This is "mushrik". It's an active harm to others.
5- No. Active harm using others, unless you think that these women are happy being exploited in this low way.

These are truly weird answers...I will not waste my time or others in debating such topics.

                                  Peace

If being a "Believer" is higer in status than a "peacemaker/submitter" , than why is it the already believing "believers" are asked to submit again as in 3102 ?

                                  Peace

"O you who believe! be careful of Allah with the care which is due to Him, and do not die unless you are Muslims" (3102).

God is warning believers to continue their submission, which they started before becoming believers, and not fall into Sherk (associating with God what He did not reveal to them in His Book). As we all know, God Told us that most Believers fall into Sherk (12-106). Even Prophet are warn to not fall into this great Sin that would make them NON MOSLEM
2887 Nor shall you be diverted from God's revelations, after they have come to you.

And invite to your Lord. And do not be of those who are Moshrekeen.

I am aware that 4915 defines some of the atributes of a believer , and there are many more ayats that gives other atributes of a believer and if one has to be a muslim first in order to be a 'Believer' then a believer should be atomatically a muslim already .

Please refer to 6-88 and you will note that prophets were in danger of becoming nonMoslems--Moshrkeen.

There are other verses warning us about falling into disbelief after revelation come to us , these are the verses et al

" And surely they had purposed to turn you away from that which We have revealed to you, that you should forge against Us other than that, and then they would certainly have taken you for a friend.
" And had it not been that We had already established you, you would certainly have been near to incline to them a little; "
" In that case We would certainly have made you to taste a double (punishment) in this life and a double " ( 1773-75 ).

The deserted people say We believe. Say You do not believe but say, We submit to the rituals. For Faith has not enlightened your hearts; and if you obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not diminish aught of your deeds; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

                                        Peace.
