Why?

Why do the Shiites (I hope I spelled that right) and Sunnis hate each other? and which country is predominately which?

respectfully.Sunnis are inside of every country and predominately in the Mid_East countries. The don't follow The Quran but they follow books written 200 years after the death of messenger/prophet Muhamamd and are very strict about it and get insulted if you judge them or even express your opinion about it.
Shias live inside of Iran, all of them are shias there and they also think they follow The Quran but they don't, as sunnis, they too have chosen a new name for themselves - shia - and the reason they're cutting themselves is because they believe that being punished here is better so that they won't be punished in the HereAfter. The also believe that God AllPowerful, The Most Wise, or angel Gabriel made a mistake and brought The Quran to the wrong person.
In Iraq, these two groups have been fighting since i wa sa kid. I'm 31 years now. They can't and won't stop, which is why i believe it would be much better if US troops don't go there ever again. I don't want those soldiers to die in vain for those lunatics.

I also think - God knows best - that the writers of the series have created this borg character on basis of sunnism.Think about it borg are these people from all over the universe, they use to be seperate individuals but now under the command of The Queen Borg, they all form one entity/being. And of course their opening and closing sentence is we are borg, you will be assimilated, resistance is futile.

I am a teacher and I address teachers younger than me as Sir out of respect, this is because pupils see and follow. If you have been appointed a knight then you have the title of Sir, so even people older than you call you sir in respect for your title.
