I personally don't kill any insects outside if I can help it. If they're in my house and something like a mosquito, earwig, spider (I especially am a little scared of spiders), I'll kill them.
Moths don't scare me and I try to catch them or shoo them outside.
I think if you can avoid it you shouldn't kill them.

Most spiders are harmless (although we have some very nasty poisonous ones here) so by that theory we shouldn't kill them. Cockroaches are harmless, most ants are harmless, but we still kill them all. If I see a cockroach or a spider I will go out of my way to kill it, why? I don't know. Fear probably.

Yup. You don't want to sit there thinking a cock roach will crawl up your leg any second. Despite the size difference they scare the helloutayuh, so you just kill them. They don't say "don't kill me! Don't worry I'll leave you alone and not come near you" otherwise we'd probably leave them alone since they'll keep away.

But they cause us fear naturally so there's one good reason to kill them. Other reasons is they may end up in your food and unless you want cock roach for dinner...well you'd be killing it anyway.

I like butterflies, and those fat stubby bumble bees as opposed to those sinister yellow jackets.

Brother, at least catch them and release them into the naure, if that's possible but try your best not to kill them.
They have fmailies, friends, relatives, they have wives, kids, they have to pay rent....except for the oppressors, yes, kill those.

It would be very rare for a bumble bee to sting anyone.

Bumble bees have wings...I'm sure they do.

                                lol...

Well it's not that possible. They hide in corners and such and it's hard to grab one while not killing it. Fragile as heck and if they get on my hand...well the reflex would be slap it to death.

You know it's wierd that whenever its many legs pop off when I smush or grab it, they're moving, even when they're detached from the body. I'm like wtf?! Creepy!

But in general I don't kill a bug whenever I see one. It just happens that, I only kill scary ones because they cause fear (which is bad...)

But I saved a ladybug once that my dad told me to kill. I guess I only like to save cute insects...lol.

But yeah I should do better.

I love bees. It's amazing and truly spectacular how The Exalted Allah SWT, The Most Powerful has created this wonderful creature that can fly and has a weapon but still doesn't advertise it, bee simply works for the queen, without whining and objecting, collecting honey and defending the weak.

I remember prior to my departure to UK i went to the meadow and saw how this bee was colecting honey from a flower and had problems climbing into it. I wanted to watch really up close and personal but at that moment a huge, gigantic, enormous bumbble bee came and started with its scary noise, protecting the worker from me.

                                    Beautiful.

                                    Peace.

I agree 100%. I like to think of it this way, if they are encroaching on my territory (house, car, etc.) they will meet their demise. If I am encroaching on their territory (woods, port-a-potty, dive bar in New Orleans), then I'll leave them be. Heck, Mr. Wasp wouldn't tolerate me building a house on his nest, neither do I tolerate Mr. Wasp building a nest on my house! laugh

You're under arrest, you have the right to redeem yourself, anything you do or don't do, will be remembered by the insects that saw you kill their member. They will hunt you down .... one day....when you'r enot looking....have you seen the new web in the corner?lool, lol.

                                          I like spiders now.
I use to be afriad of them but they're actually more afraid of me. Except the big ones, they're....they might be dangerous, could have some poison or whatever.
