        Peace,
        Respectfully.

I have never dated in my entire life and i'm 31-year-old-virgin.
I simply slipepd that part and asked God directly to give me a woman who follows The Quran alone and who wants to marry me.
My prayers were answered within two months.
Thank God, Glory be to our God.

        Peace.

The problem with the bible is that there are so many versions even in English, and they all say something different. Even the "Lord's Prayer" which is quite an important part of the New Testament is different in different versions. In one version I have read (baptist version), the whole meaning of the prayer is changed.

            Here's another one then..
"Lord's prayer" in hebrew, from Shem Tov's Mattiya..

            Avinu Sevashamayim.
            Yet kadosh shem kha.
            Tahvoo Malkutoo kha.
            Ye'aseh retsone kha.
            Ba'aritz ka'ashr na'asah va shamayim.
            Ten-lanu haiyom lechem hukeinu.
            U'selah lanu et ashmateinu, ka'ashr.
            Solehim anahnu la'asher ashemu lanu.
            Ve'al-tevieinu lidei massah.
            Ki-'im hatzileinu min-hara.

This thing just came to my mind..
Soleh / Uselah - root word 'slh' means forgiving in hebrew..

There are many occurrences of "Soleh" (deed) in the Quran, as of now my understanding of (quran arabic) "soleh" is "righteous", perhaps "Soleh" word in the Quran does actually mean "forgiving".

Verily! those who believe, and those who are Jews, and Sabeans, and Christians - Whosoever believed in God and the Last Day and does SOLEH - there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve.
            Quran 569

I completely agree with that. Also I believe that you must forgive yourself too.

Just out of interest. Would you date someone from a different religion, faith or denomination?

Normal women are preferable to religious women.

I voted yes. Though I'd like him not to be "spiritual" and all that airy fairy nonsense. I'm a monotheist, but I'm not into mysticism.

I couldn't agree more. I've heard of quite a few relationships ending badly because one of the partners became insanely religious.

But is there such a thing as normal?

I would date someone of different religion.

From my point of view, I have seen some inter-faith relationships working out and others ending very badly. So I think it really depends on their personality, level of tolerance and upbringing more than their belief system.

I think everyone's normal, but for a relationship to be successful, both partners need to make sure they're not annoying. Insanely religious people can be really annoying because they're so unapproachable. You can never have a conversation with them on anything except religion and they're very patronizing sometimes.

I guess you could substitute "insanely religious people" with "bigots". I once dated a militant vegan, he was pretty insane.

Just two months? Wow, that was fast. I prayed for a real friend for 4 years before I made one, and I met her a few months after I had given up hope entirely.

That's the only way to get that perfect partner. To be the person that the perfect partner would want to be with. Be the right man/woman and the right woman/man will come along.
