    Salamun alaikum..

    http//www.vnn.org/editorials/ET0001/ET25-5336.html

i got this link from my friend, it's about vedic culture influence in arabia before the advent of Islam..

i quote some interesting point from that article here..

The Kaba temple which was misappropriated and captured by Muslims was originally an International Vedic Shrine. The ancient Vedic scripture Harihareswar Mahatmya mentions that Lord Vishnu's footprints are consecrated in Mecca. An important clue to this fact is that Muslims call this holy precint Haram which is a deviation of the Sanskrit term Hariyam, i.e. the precint of Lord Hari alias Lord Vishnu. The relevant stanza reads

"Ekam Padam Gayayantu MAKKAYAANTU Dwitiyakam Tritiyam Sthapitam Divyam Muktyai Shuklasya Sannidhau"

    and

The Black Stone which is the Shiv Emblem (also known as Sange Aswad which is a corrupted form of the Sanskrit word Sanghey Ashweta--meaning non-white stone) still survives in the Kaba as the central object of Islamic veneration.

    and also

In fact the names of the holiest of Muslim cities Mecca and Medina come from the Sanskrit words Makha-Medini which means the land of Fire-Worship. Even the most ancient names of these 2 cities were Mahcorava- which came from Mahadeva (Lord Shiva) and Yathrabn - which came from Yatra-Sthan (place of pilgrimage).

what do you think, is there some truth in this article?

Coupled with Jesus in India theory and the analog of Brahma and Saravasti with Abraham and Sarai....could the holy land be to the east?

Please compare the rituals of the muslims with the hindus. and you will see it is true. One fine examplewhat the muslims wear during haj and what hindus wear at death and at ganges-almost identical. If mecca had running water...it would be the 2nd Ganges. Muslims too perform 'baptism' which originated from taking a dip in the ganges. The black stone lingam has been tranformed into female genitalia. I have a lot of hindu friends who had been telling all these ever since I was 7. One culture follows another and most often blindly..Ask them to explain why they do that..they will always say "they do it..we just follow..who are we to question the rituals prepared by our forefathers?'.

They are so many views on how religion started..afrocentric views vs Eurocentic vs Vedic......

          peace.....

Is the link to hinduism a sign of falsehood or truth?

There is a continum between the 3 abrahamic religions and ancient religions. The reason that damages our faith is that we misunderstand the word 'god'.

'God' in ancient religions means an immortal man. All mortals are destined to be so either in Heaven/Eden/Dilmun or Hell/Jahanum/Hell.

We have to separate a simple god from the Creator god who is ONE.

So the ancient temple in the Quran is the temple of the Creator god while other temples are for past dead kings who ascended to godhood.

In Sumerian mythology, Ziusudra (Noah?) gets access to Dilmun/Eden when he died. He was granted immortality. Similar to the Quranic perspective.

Now concentrate, only the Creator god grants immortality. So if you want immortality, you must obey the Creator.

When someone is granted immortality in peace, he has been honored in Quranic terminology.

2126 And they say "Allah Most Gracious has begotten offspring." Glory to Him! they are but servants raised to honour.

3742 Fruits; and they shall be honored.

7035 Such will be the honoured ones in the Gardens (of Bliss).

3627 "For that my Lord has granted me Forgiveness and has enrolled me among those held in honour!"

5124 Has the story reached thee, of the honoured guests of Abraham?

The Angels were granted immortality by the Creator god Allah and so were the righteous after death.

Now you know why when people mocked the Quran as being the tales of the ancients, it didn't respond. Because it IS.

            Peace.

              Source?

Who are the people who say 'it's a tale of the past'?

              Not true - 6/25, 21/10 and 51/20-21.
