Which would you choose?

It is much better to answer it from Quran, because Allah knows of every thing

And the fact is that they will never ever incline themselves to proclaim a wish for death on account of what their hands have sent forward.
Falsfi ko Behs kay under Khuda milta nahi
dour ko suljha raha hay aur sira milta nahiAllah Ho akbar
Are never existing and wishing for death are the same thing?

You have to study the verse and the Question asked once more to see the connection, it would be better if you read the whole verse.
Let's say God exists, and what The Quran says is true, that basically you get (in the next life) what you give (in this life).
Therefore a person who opts for non existence is actually running away from the test.
And the fact is that they will never ever incline themselves to proclaim a wish for death on account of what their hands have sent forward. (this is not the whole verse)
Sirius, logic isn't Raajah's strong point.
Logic may not be my strong point but at least, unlike you I have learned to see beyond my nose! You are victim of self praise. May Allah help you.
very true

If there was no afterlife, then wouldnt you feel awful, as you would know that it's this life and nothing else - in fact, it's only nothingness/emptiness.
"Our nada who art in nada, nada be thy name thy kingdom nada thy will be nada in nada as it is in nada. Give us this nada our daily nada and nada us our nada as we nada our nadas and nada us not into nada but deliver us from nada; pues nada . Hail nothing full of nothing, nothing is with thee." ~Earnest Hemingway, A Clean, Well-Lighted Place
- To have a life, e.g. the one you have, and take the test of this life, which you might pass (reward), or you might fail (punishment).
The only logical choice ...
?The mind is its own place, and in it self. Can make a Heaven of Hell, a Hell of Heaven.? ~John Milton, Paradise Lost

I think this world sucks. Never want to come back to this place.
Salaam...

Rajah, you clearly highlighted the portion of the verse you thought to be relevant to the discussion. And you still seem to think that wishing for death and never existing are the same thing. The fact is, if you never existed, then there is nothing you could have done right or wrong to warrant a 'heaven' or a 'hell' type scenario, and therefore never existing (to never have done anything that requires judgement) and wanting death due to fear of your own actions and the recompense for them, they aren't really the same.

Oh! so it was not a question you asked but actually sort of decision you made. Then no one can help you.
But I will try for last time; go back to page 1
Let's say God exists, and what The Quran says is true, that basically you get (in the next life) what you give (in this life).
Knowing this to be true, and you had the option to choose, which would you opt for?- to not exist (i.e. to have no existence whatsoever, no life, no thought, thus no memory of anything, no feelings etc. and therefore do not have to take the test of life, thus no reward/punishment, nothing)
- To have a life, e.g. the one you have, and take the test of this life, which you might pass (reward), or you might fail (punishment).
- Undecided
The Quran says "You get in the next life what you give in this life"
therefore certainly this present life is a test place, result of which will be announced in the next life, but Allah tells us that since "they" know what they have done in the test "they" will never wish that a time comes when "they" have to face the consequences. Simple!
Therefore the one who chooses to opt for option number one is actually running away from this test place at very beginning.
Remember that The question is asked to a person who knows that what he sows shall he reap" Let's say God exists, and what The Quran says is true, that basically you get (in the next life) what you give (in this life).
after knowing this, one who says he did not wanted to exist is actually running away from the test and Allah has made it clear in his wordsAnd the fact is that they will never ever incline themselves to proclaim a wish for death on account of what their hands have sent forward.
because they are afraid of what they have done in the test; same as with those who don't want to take the test in first place.
You should seriusly read the whole question and the whole Ayat before making any further comments.

I wasn't interested in answering the question. I was intrigued by your attempt to compare it to wishing for death. We disagree in our interpretation on the question clearly, (which I did happen to read along with the verse), which is okay.
