You might want to read what is on the home page.
free-minds.org is a God alone/Quran alone Islam forum. Most people (or nearly all here) do not take the Hadiths/Sunna or anything else beside the Quran as the source of their 'religion'.I highly recommend the following video as an introduction to the Quran alone concept http//www.youtube.com/watch?v=as_7cddmBsk&feature=channel_page

Progressive1993- I read what is on the homepage, but aren't as a Muslim aren't I supposed to take the hadiths/sunnah and the Quran also as a source of religion? As that is what I have learnt that we should.
You all seem like a pretty cool bunch. I heard about this forum on another forum. I became a Muslim not very long ago, but I don't know very much. I am not a sunni or shia. I just believe in God.

Generally I suppose that's what muslims are taught to use as sources of guidance. I think the quran is sufficient enough in that respect, but I do not think you have to give up on reading and following these other ahadeeth. Read the quran and see if it points you to other sources of guidance due to an inefficiency to guide one on the straight path.
