Anyone know any websites of good books that show a good and simple summary of each verse in the quran?

I.e a long surah from the quran explained in a paragraphs?

I have a quran that does this, it's in arabic but has the translation on the side. The bottom of the page the
traslator tries to summarise the surah by using personal opinion. No thanks! nope

    Peace.

Every translated material will be flooded with personal opinions. Try to avoid them.

          No longer a Sunna-rejecter

The thing is that the Quran is not a fiction book which you can summarize in a straight-forward way. There are several mixed things/commands in each chapter (take 2 or 17, for example). Maybe for the small chapters it would make sense.

I am not aware of any chapter summaries - only actual translations with annotations or tafsir/interpretation websites (usually traditionalist/hadithist though).

I am no longer a Sunna-rejecter. See 4:59-65, 62:2-4, 3:31, 4:156, 7:157 Messenger teaches and is to be followed and obeyed. Examples of revelation received which is not in the Qur'an: 3:123-126, 33:37, 2:187, 66:3, 62:9.

A translation (any translation) IS a personal opinion.

So you want to say ,those who follow only translations ,in fact those not following the Quran rather PERSONAL OPINIONS OF OTHERS

                peace,

Whilst not a short easy to read summary, it is actually quite a tough read, but you may wish to struggle through the book 'coherence in the quran' by mustansir mir. It is quite cheap to buy. It is written like an academic thesis, hence the tough read, but it is safe to say it significantly shaped my thinking of chapter structure and linking themes throughout them. It has been discussed a little on the forum, by myself and member mquran
                http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=10431.0

It does not cover all chapters.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.
