Was there ever a person called Khidr in the quran, and kill an innocent boy?
-
Salaams ,
Always bothered me a servent of Allah killing a boy for no reason hmm
Here is one view, which explains it to some hypno
Is there a man named Khidr? No.
Did he kill an innocent boy? No
Would you ever accept such a killing? No.Some of the initial story has been explained;
018.060
YUSUFALI Behold, Moses said to his attendant(his brother), "I will not give up until I reach (deliver/make) the junction (Assembly) of the two seas (communities) or (until) I spend years and years (as long as it takes) in travel ."
018.061
YUSUFALI But when they reached(made) the Junction(assembly), they forgot (about) their Fish(past striving/guile/twisted facts), which took its course through the sea(people) (straight) as in a tunnel.
018.062
When they had passed on, Moses said to his attendant (his brother) "Bring us our early meal (let us depart); truly we have suffered much fatigue at this (stage of) our journey."
018.063
He replied (Moses said) "Sawest thou (what happened) when we betook ourselves to the rock (Pharaoh)? I did indeed forget (about) the Fish (twisted facts) and it that I forgot but The Satan (pharaoh) did remind about it it took its course through the sea (community) in a marvelous way!" (Now the people have started talking about all that Moses had done and said)
018.064
YUSUFALI Moses said "That was what we were seeking after" So they went back on their footsteps (the tale of Moses), following (the path they had come).
018.065
YUSUFALI So they found one of Our servants (a person who was good), on whom We had bestowed Mercy from Ourselves (Moses) and whom We had taught knowledge from Our own Presence.
018.066
Moses said to him (to his brother) "May I follow thee (may I know your thoughts, may I know of your understanding), on the footing that thou teach me something of the Truth which thou hast been taught?" (which thou now to be true)
018.067
(Moses says) "Verily thou wilt not be able to have patience with me!"
018.068
(and Moses says)"And how canst thou have patience about things about which thy understanding is not complete?"
018.069
(his brother says) "Thou wilt find me, if Allah so will, (truly) patient nor shall I disobey thee in aught."
018.070
(Moses says) "If then thou wouldst follow me (by listening) , ask me no questions about anything until I myself speak to thee concerning it."Now Moses tells his own story of what he did before he ran off after he killed the guy.
Moses is now telling his story to his brother ?like you tell it to your solicitor but the brother keeps asking Moses questions before he has finished his story.018.071
So they both proceeded until, when he had gone headlong-without considering the consequences, in the boat (skirmish), he scuttled it (making a false accusation). (His brother asks him) "Did thou scuttle (did though falsely accuse) it in order to drown his people? Truly a strange thing thou did!"
018.072
He answered "Did I not tell thee that thou canst have no patience with me?"
018.073
"Rebuke me not for forgetting, nor grieve me by raising difficulties in my case."
018.074
Then they proceeded until, when they met a young man, he slew him. (His brother said) said "Hast thou slain an innocent person who had slain none? Truly a foul (unheard of) thing hast thou done!"
018.075
(Moses said) He answered "Did I not tell thee that thou canst have no patience with me?"wow
