    Salam all, Peace to everyone,

Has anyone here tried to decode old Quran manuscript, to confirm or refute our present copy of Al Quran.
I am saying that cause some people are "modifying" "original" text arguing first Quran came without diactrical signs (points on letters).

    For example

    951
    Waaltteeni waalzzaytooni
By the Fig and the Olive,

    952
    Watoori seeneena
    And the Mount of Sinai,

    953
    Wahatha albaladi alameeni
    And this City of security

They change balad by YALAD arguing that it fits better in the context!!!!!

Here is a link which proclaim some differences between older versions of Quran and current one Samarkand manuscript

    http//www.answering-islam.org/PQ/A1.htm#AppendA

ps personnaly I think God has protected His book as He claims in the Holy scripture, and Quran was first memorised (not written).

    Peace

I don't know enough about arabic to know how serious it is. But if at all true, it definitely goes against the idea that not a single letter in variance exists between manuscripts.

            and

"" in the end of "" and "" in the end of "" are the same. Both are ""(Alef).
