مُعَقِّبَاتٌ Feminine or Masculine

Grammer analysis says is feminine plural. They are active participles, plural in number, stationed at certain points with reference to the object, and they are performing a duty as "masculine, plural in number-subject pronoun" for the same object.

And these escorts/protectors are but Angels who are males/masculine. Please help resolve this.
