      Why can't we lower the temperature below zero K?

      First question Munzir,
      what is temperature?
      Is it a measure of heat, or a measure of heat and/or cold?

        It is simply that 0 Kelvin is the absence of all heat. So nothing can get colder.

          exactly, 'cold' = absence of heat
          when heat gets to '0', the temperature is 0 K as all molecular motion stops.
          You can't get a slower molecular speed of vibration/movement than 0

            Just the same as dark = absence of light

            Position = absence of volocity

                well, position and velocity are a little complicated, since you have to fix a frame of reference,
                you could sit still in a train going at 60km/h

                  That is true, it is all relative. Also both position and velocity do exist and can be measured just not at the same time. Whereas dark and cold do not

                    exactly, temperature, light intensity are both scalars, whereas velocity is a vector, hence the need for a frame of reference
