    http//onlineislamicstore.com/b7606.html

It lists every Arabic word used in Al Quran, shows all relevant derivatives from the root.

    Details the relevant grammar.

Combines several Classical Arabic dictionaries to give the possible meanings of the word (in English).

    Gives examples of usage.

    1010 pages

    All this for $20 !!!

    Wakas

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

Subject RE The dictionary of the holy Quraan

      Dear Brother,

      Thanks for the kind offer.

We are a new NoN Profit organization, trying to establish ourself here in the United States. By printing and publishing 'copyrighted' classical Islamic literature. The 'rootword' contribution of the author is the major marketing point for this Dictioanry of the Holy Quran. And is helping us to generate some funds for future Islamic publications, which are ready, but need funds to be printed.

As we have already invested a lot of money and time in getting this Dictionary of The Holy Quran printed, from our own funds, we need to generate some funds for the reproduction of this and other Islamic Books, like "New Subject-Codification of Musnad Imam Ahmed Bin Hanbal". It is in Ten volumes (Arabica only), and we are able to print only the first volume, due to lack of funds.(Although the remaining nine volumes are ready for the press). This Dictioanry is our source of revenue at this time. (Copyright law is helpful towards this end). If you want, I can send you a free copy of this new publication (In Arabic only).

As such we are unable to grant the permission at this stage of establishing our non profit, non sectarian business. (You can help us by introducing this Dictionary to the market. And your help in this regard will be highly appreciated).

We are also thinking to make it available in the CD-Format, through our own 'newly established'publishing house (Noor Foundation International Inc.), as soon as our financial circustances allow us to do so.

Please let us know your phone number and adress, so that we can remain in touch with you in this honourable cause. And once our Board of Directors find it appropriate to float the printed information in the 'public-domain', we will immediately inform you.

I hope you will understand our position and will pray for the success of our humble 'not for profit'and 'non-sectarian' efforts.

      Thank You,

      Hibbi Omar

      Salam,
I've purchased "The dictionary of the holy Quraan by Abdul Mannan Omar" and I need your permission to be able to publish the translation of the roots of the Quran in a non-profit electronical form (windows application).

        peace All,

A request has anyone bought the book which is available on amazon.co.uk ? Is it the second edition? How many pages does it contain?

To those who bought the one from amazon.com or anywhere else, what edition is it and how many pages does it have?

I ask because there is a discrepancy between the amazon.co.uk and amazon.com books.

        Wakas

        Salaam brother,

Got mine from Amazon.co.uk and has 687 pages, the first edition.

        regards,

I wrote to the e mail adress posted by sabo(thanks sabo) and heres the response i got

          Dear Mr. Zlatan,

There is no difference between first and the second edition.

We were sold out of the first edition and this is the 2nd printing done with same quality, and 1010 pages - although few typo errors have been taken care off - and infact, this 2nd printing is improved version - but no difference in content otherwise. We have no copies left out of the first printing.

          Thank you.

          Date Tue, 07 Sep 2004 202200 +0200

          Helo.. Peace...

I am writing to you in regards of the Dictionary of the Holy Quran, by
Abdul Omar Mannan, Abdul Mannan Omar... I believe you are its
          publishers...

I am particularly interested to know the difference between the first
and the second edition of the book....

The first edition have had around 680 pages and the second edition has,
according to the information at amazon.com, 1010 pages

          http//www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0963206788/ref=sib_err_dp/103-8182280-6425464?%5Fencoding=UTF8&no=283155&me=ATVPDKIKX0DER&st=books

however if you surf through the book at the site it appears that it also
has only 680 pages(or its because they only had the first edition scaned
          to show?)

Is there any difference in content or its just the different format of
          printing?

do you have any web site?

I am impatiently waiting to hear from you

          best wishes, Zlatan

          best wishes to all, Zlatan
