Exalted Assembly?
-
Ahmad Bilal, all,
Allah made the Assembly to be Exalted. El-mele' comes from the root which is understood to mean "to fill", and this word is mostly translated as "chiefs". If we think we can see that these "chiefs" are sort of a parliament, which has some number of seats and people filling/taking these seats are el-mele'.
El-
Alaa was used only twice with el-mele', in 378 and 3869. As I said, Allah made this el-mele' to be el-alaa by inspiring and teaching el-mele' directly. 3869 is about Aadem and el-melaa'iket, and we know Allah's interaction with them. These el-melaa'iket, as I understand, were ruling class in pre-dynastic Egypt (so-called Dynasty 0), and they were inspired by Allah to rule as He taught them. This is why people in Egypt accepted their rulers as "god-given" for centuries (except in case of Akhanaton).I think that 378 is about any society which has chiefs inspired by Allah or helping them in any direct way, as in 940 لَا تَحْزَنْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَنَا, where innAllahe me`anaa (Allah is also among us) made 2 to be 3 (assembly).
We cannot see Allah and we cannot detect Him anyhow. We can detect manifestations of His names. We cannot see love, for example, but we can detect love's owner acts. Allah owns His names. These names are plural and whenever He uses plural for Himself it's because of plurality of names used in the context.
If some judge judges according to his job (rules) only - he's judge, but if he uses his intellect, his moral guides, his compassion, etc., then he's more then a judge.
-
What I am about to say might seem controversial but it's only a thought and my own opinion so judge with your own intellect.
I think what you said about God being one as many makes sense. God's names refer to perticular attributes but it also resembles the good old paganism. In fact if you take the whole quran and than it seems like there are 99(even more than that) attributes are like individual gods. That's what the old pagans got it wrong. The entire quran emohasises on A being that is named "Allah" as one but than we see he has 99 other names. Now lets say a person only calls god by al rahman. Another guy calls him al rahim. Without context it seems they are calling two different gods. But its two aspects of the same ineffable being put into words. But what actually means to be "One"? Does god has a body that is sepreate from all of existance hence he is "one"? Lets say I cut up my arm and ship it to antertica. But i still have control over that arm and i can do exactly what i want to do with that arm despite being seprate. My question is is the arm a seperate entity? Am i two because my arm is seperated by space? If i give my arm the ability to think and it doesnt know where it came from it might question do i have a free will or what is it's purpose. But since i am the one pulling the strings than the arm is never seperated. All of my limbs and organs make up who i am and i am one. Now lets say you who is reading. What if i download your consciousness into my head. Than are two or one? We have two different opinions. But this is a real life example where people have multiple identity disorder. They have different opinions within the same body. So is that "one". My conclusion is What we call the very ground of being "god"(i tend to avoid this word because it pops up like a person having a body sitting on a throne which is unfitting for this wonderfull presence" has different aspects all at the same time. In human understanding it would be like al rahman and al gaffar are two seperate gods. Al rahman the god of love because that's the very source of love and al gaffar the god of mercy. But they are infact just two qualities of the same being. Hence the line no god but "allah". The confusion arises from the meaning of the name. What is the eaxct meaning of "allah" it can't be al-ilah. Because the sentence doesn't add any meaning. No doudt "allah" has a different meaning that i wonder even muhammad knew. If he did he probaly interpreted as al-ilah or kept secret because normal sober mind cannot comprehend comlicated things. But like i said it can be something simple like Al-La-Hu. The word Al automatically comes to our mind as "the" but it has a secret meaning in wikitionary written differently there is another Al that means "family" or related to "return". Than the word could stand for "Al-La-Hu"= Return to "Hu". "Hu" is all over the quran where we are told " Hu is al rahman", "hu is al rahim" etc. So Hu coukd refer to just a indicator of an indescribable being who has these qualities and there really is no God but a Home where we will return. And in that Home are all of them "99 and more names" are "One". Even i am not qualified enough to say what this means. Maybe it means unity of all of those different aspects. Than whole of creation is "One" there for it gives the meaning "Allahu" is all-encompassing(containing everything) a whole different meaning. Also that could be a fitting reason that there are terms like "high assembly" and using the pronoun "we" and even the word "Allahumma" that is used to conventionally mean O Allah. But i don't get how -umma is translated to "O" it litterally is a plural signifier "Allahumma" literally means they allah. But they allah is "One" somehow. And there's no such thing as royal we. If the quran is directly gods word than it should be only "I" used. But thinking differently makes sense. "We" is "One". That's all i can come up with. But at the end of the day trying to understand what god is or isn’t will not get us anywhere. It's like trying to describe colours to a blind person. We should just focus on living a good life instead. And The infinitely loving God is definitely not a toddler that "He/she" will punish you for the wrong idea of him/her. The conventional islam uses fear tactics to keep you in line to he controlled by corrupt muslim leaders for conquest. And "Islam" really isn't a religion it's a way of living peacefully. -
I witnessed the angel putting her life on the line in order to save my life (from an very powerful and petrifying demon), I and her destroyed the demon, barely. God was there too that night, as a Witness, and to create order, so I and the angel could fight this demon as ordained by God, fairly, accurately, so the furious supernatural demon had to play by the rules. That night I saw God, by His Grace, a quick look before getting totally blended by His Divine light. God is Most Glorious, Most Great.
What I just wrote above was and is possibly one of the highest and most extraordinary supernatural - super -spiritual experience ever experienced by a human in all of mankind's history.
God is Alive.
Salam Marwan-Aed,
You have been chosen to witness supernatural beings and the spiritual realm
A special gift from the Lord of the worlds
Glory be to God!My request (if you don't mind)
(1) Can you illustrate to me about the angel and demon that you saw at the scene!
What they look like!(2) Is Iblees the one who refused to prostrate to Adam still alive to this day?
Just for my curiosity!
Thank you. -
Peace Shukri.
I shall put some of my thoughts here, for getting them out of my mind and sending them out there for analysis and reflection. Of course for me too to learn from those answering them and for correction.I see Qoran as a live book, manifesting heaps of ideas from its users /interpretations.
Now , many take a lot of unseen things literally and we sometimes -all of us using Qoran- end up with confusing, amusing and contradictory experiences.1- Who are the Angels and do humans see Angels?
I think those who see Angels will not know- Until after the experience- as Qoran says if we make them visible= Rusul= We turn them into humans. They think at first they are dealing with humans; But we are told Angels are involved in our lives, recording, observing and protecting and will terminate the life of each human.
2- Will we see Iblees and the Jinn?
Qoran says- We do not see Iblees and his tribe but they see us. However those who choose to try and contact them may succeed and interact /work with them- Magic, wickedness. false power... Those who stay away, Jinns will have no power over them.
3- Since there is zero benefit from our enemies, why even bother to want to know that side of GOD s creations. Are we told to look after ourselves and mind our own business , apart from what GOD has detailed for us about all His creations?
So I think part of saving ourselves requires that we do not seek any connection or interaction with Jinns. At least that is what GOD warns us about.4- Experiences of folks vary according to heir deep convictions and intentions in this life. Stories therefore can be exaggerated, invented or used for agendas.
It is better to disregard after reading and we move to what benefits us.
Of course there is nothing wrong with asking to clarify. I am just giving my thoughts too.
GOD bless you.

Interesting thing to know about, I guess!Peace.

Peace to all,
What is the "exalted assembly" (i.e. high society, etc.) mentioned in 378? Some have interpreted this as meaning that Allah is a PLURALITY, and His Oneness is actually the unity of all members of the assembly. They say that Allah Himself is ONE BEING, but, in perspective, He is not the ONLY god; rather, He's the highest among the other members of the assembly (i.e. angels). Therefore, when the scriptures use such words as "We" and "Us" in reference to God, it is referring to the entire "exalted assembly", the unity of the whole. This is also the reasons why, in instances when Allah ALONE is being mentioned, without the collective body of the assembly, the words "I" and "Me" are used, instead of the plural references.
Does anyone have a particular viewpoint on this? That was the first time I'd heard that perspective on this subject and the interpretation of the "exalted assembly", and, in my opinion, it seemed very interesting...
Peace,
Ahmad
Allah, our Lord is always singular and there is no ambiguity within Al-Quran.
The best example is when Allah called Musa, He said 'Ana Allah, Rabbuka / I am Allah, Your Lord'.The second point is the usage of 'We/Us'. Yes, that's absolutely necessary. Ever since Allah commenced creating the Heavens and Earth, Allah used His own creations to make them successful.
I noticed in JKan's blog that the Arabic word Arsh is translated as office. I concur with it. Amazing simply amazing his translation is. I could not possibly get it being an expert in Arabic literature, but he found it out not knowing how to speak Arabic even. In Allah's Arsh all those elite assigned controllers/malaika and those immortals are working according to the commands of Allah. They work in the Heavens and the Earth as Messengers with their respective missions.
When Allah mentions in the Al-Quran 'they return to Us' or They called Us' it is not Allah alone. We might have correctly called Allah alone, but the reply of our calling goes to Allah and those in Arsh working accordingly. Read all PLURALITY usages and you will possibly understand without doubt why Allah has used it in plural forms.Yes Ahmed Bilal. Below is your quote
The "exalted assembly" could even include the messenger in this chain of We.
... Each one believeth in Allah and His angels and His scriptures and His messengers ...
In fact, the chain of WE includes all of those who work in the office/Arsh of Allah. That's why Allah commands us to believe in that chain. Our faith is not complete if we don't believe in the 'WE'. They are direct workers of Allah under His command and human beings cannot deny the 'WE' and proceed.

God is Most Benevolent, there is no god but God, may God forgive me for my sins, may His punishment(s) be far away from me, for God is harsh in punishment, and that I testify to, God is the King and Lord and Protector and Light and Ruler and Creator of the heavens and the earth and everything in them.
- The angel had taken woman human form, but I saw her white wings, and I looked at her powerful eyes which were shining light, etc, she was very powerful, light was all around her.
The demon had a shadow-black form, with small round black eyes. His entire form was black, like a black shadow, like those black shadow looking flying ghosts in Harry Potter.
Satan exists now, his number is 6, I have realized ,I have never seen his form, but he has whispered in my ears and then withdrawn, like the Quran describes him, then sending his jinn dog on me, who I destroyed.
And I seek refuge in God from satan the accursed devil and every evil creature created by God.
Thanks a lot for sharing your experience with us!
Note
I have seen a woman-like figure with two wings descend from the sky in a group coming towards me
In a dream but it looked so real!Ends.

Everything the Quran tells is Reality, The Reality, is everything the Quran tells.
What I have experienced is what the Quran talks about. What I have witnessed with my two own eyes, the Quran witnesses as well, and God Witnesses it too.
I could list them but it's literally too much for my mind to do right now, i's so much, so, difficult somehow.
One day soon (the coming days) I will make a topic about this, The Quran=Reality, Reality=The Quran.
First of all, the two major Actualities, namely, forgiveness and punish and prayer, and the Truth of submissions (Islam) to God - these two are basically what the Quran emphasizes, the most.
God is the Most Great, the Fully Perfect.
You're welcome!
Good news for me.Thank you.

Angels and jinn are physical beings. Everything that has been created is material. In contrast, they have different physical characteristics from us. For example, they can be invisible, have strong telepathic abilities, etc. The one I saw appeared in the form of a child and was able to read my mind.

Peace ALL,
What are your interpretations/understandings of verse 4629.
Peace Jinn,
Who are the people referred to in 4629. what nation, community, ethnicity etc.
And , when We directed to you a few of the jinn, listening to the Qur'an. And when they attended it, they said, "Listen quietly." And when it was concluded, they went back to their people as warners.
God bless you.

Thanks for the posting!
There is someone from Yemen is able to read people mind
They call him "waliyullah" or "holy person"
And one of prominent religious scholar in my country has met this person
And confirmed this Yemenis ability is very true. Now I know that a jinn can do this "trick"
And not necessarily a special gift from God
My puzzle is over now! Thanks again!

Humans have become familiar with calling ourselves 'people' as if there is no other beings who can be called people. Jinn beings are people/kauwm. They are men and women like human beings. The only difference is that they are Jinn beings. That's why we both are the only worthy two creatures destined to live in Hell or Paradise once our trial is done.
46'29 never states they, themselves opted to visit, but it states Allah diverted them to reach towards the Messenger of the Quran since it was meant for guidance. Once they listened to what they listened they returned to where they came from as they were to pass the message of truth to their beings i.e. Jinn beings (people).
If you are interested in for info, in my perspective, Jinnbeings are not invisible but they are visible, but they don't approach us and they live in Antarctica which is their homeland on Earth while they reach beyond what humans could ever go in the skies. They are far beyond our technology. Jinns did work for Sulaiman and they were not invisible in their true physic. Neither Malaks/controllers are invisible but Controllers opt to be invisible (to both jinns and humans) with the will of Allah in their own figures, but they are visible when they disguise themselves as human beings for their respective missions.

Why do you refer to them as beings? Beings has an alien sound to it.

I refer to them as beings as Allah has called them People and they call they are people, and they are Men and Women. Is human BEING alien? so why do you think there are aliens while every creature of Allah is a living being?
I don't know their physical appearance to be exact. Since the Quran calls them people, men, and women, they can't be far from the nature of human beings, with the difference being the source of creation alone i.e. Naar.
If the Al Quran and previous Scriptures like the Torah guide the community of Jinn beings as Allah points out, how would that be possible while it addresses the nature of human beings? Yes, they are identical to human beings and of the lifestyle. Take a close look at what the Al Quran commands to follow in life. How would they follow the commands of Al Quran in life if they don't resemble human beings? For instance, Al Quran commands to do charity. Would that be applicable to Jinns? Al Quran commands what to eat and what not, would that apply to Jinns? etcetera. So, if Jinn calls that this Al Quran guides to the straight path, what does it mean to them? If nothing applies to Jinn being from Al Quran then how can Al Quran and the scripture of Musa be guidance to them?
Jinn beings do not live in toilets, abandoned houses, caves, or deserts as traditional Muslims made people believe, but they live a proper life as we do. They deserve Janna based on their work. We will share Janna with them if we happen to enter it.
I clearly stated that was my perspective and not necessary to take it as fact. But they are living on Earth and in flight and they are visible and living on this Earth even before humans landed.
Note please Some call Rh blood group people are jinn since they one of the rarest blood groups, but unfortunately, it's a big lie. They are human.

No, there are no humans who can read minds like that. They can respond directly as if you were speaking aloud. Other notable characteristics include their ability to become invisible and their possession of technology more advanced than ours.

Salaam!
Genie beings and their lives are a mystery to me
I really appreciate if anyone would like to share his knowledge/experience regarding this matter!
Brother @Marwan-Aed and @Emre are welcomed to add their experiences, if any! Also, based on these verses
713 He said "Descend from it, for it is not for you to be arrogant here; depart, for you are disgraced."
714 He (Iblees) said "Grant me respite until the Day they are resurrected?"
715 He said "You are granted."
716 He said "For that which You have caused me to be misled, I will stalk for them on Your straight path."I would like to know
Is Iblees the one who refused to prostrate to Adam still alive to this day?
Any response is welcomed!Thank you.
-
Peace shukri,
The story of Iblees represents the negative side of mankind. Iblees (negativity) was
created before Adam. When the second form of mankind (the humans) was created Iblees
was instructed to prostrate to him. Prostrate is the wrong translation, look below and find
a more suitable translation. I have chosen below in bold what I think would be a better
explanation.Siin-Jiim-Dal = lowly, humble, submissive, worship, adore, prostrate, make obeisance, lower/bend oneself down towards the ground, lower the head, to salute/honor/magnify, to pay respect, to stand up, to look continuedly and tranquilly.
MSJD - parts of a man that are the places of SJD, e.g. forehead/nose/hands/knees/feet etc. Any mode/place/practice in which the act of SJD is done.Iblees and humans both have decedents until judgement day
1850 and when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was of the jinn and departed from the command of his Lord. Then will you take him and his descendants as allies other than Me while they are enemies to you? Wretched it is for the wrongdoers as an exchange
The Jinn are people
And , when We directed to you a few of the jinn, listening to the Qur'an. And when they attended it, they said, "Listen quietly." And when it was concluded, they went back to their people as Warners.
God bless you.

Thanks brother hawk99 for the input!
God bless you.Just a note
If the translation of verses 713-16 on my Reply #41 is valid
I think the iblees who was in "exalted assembly" is still alive today and he will die on the time appointed i.e. the Day of the first blowing of the Trumpet.Anyway, I will stop here for this thread
AND for Brother @Marwan-Aed and @Emre, thank you for sharing your experience!Salam for all

About the origin of the word Jinn,
some say it came from Indo European Genie,
Yes, as I tracked further, the word has some more cognates that are interesting,
In Indian context, here the word for knowledge or Consious is 'Jnan' and one who is learned and has deep knowledge is a 'Jnani'. From this we have english cognates like Genie, Genuis, and even linked with the word 'Know'.
So this Jinn Iblis refers to the one who believed to had seduced Adam and Eve to the fruit of the tree of knowledge about good and evil.
