In America you can practice religion, or not practice religion. You can believe whatever religion you want, or you can not believe whatever religion you want. No one is forced to follow/not follow any religious beliefs.

      I don't think there's anything & about that.

Yes.. and it's 100% aligned with Quranic commandment..

There are no compulsory in belief, as truth stands out clear from error..
        (2256)

Additional plus for USA on Quran-O-Meter..

The saudis government most certainly doesn't follow those Quran commandment, as they put their faith more on hearsays from 'mysterious figures' such as "Father Of The Cat" (Abu Hurayrah) to kill, ban and torture the heretics (Arabic Murtadeen).
Major minus for Saudi Arabia on Quran-O-Meter

I never said anything about the USA being aligned with Quran at any percentage.
The whole point is, that religion, or lack of religion, should never be forced. In the USA it's not forced.

There are times where people / cultures in this region does thing which is actually aligned with the Quranic commandment / message on one or more aspect. Although they NEVER read the Quran.
And there are those who READ the Quran but their actions is not aligned to Quran Message.

Objectively I would say USA does aligns on some part to some degree to the Quranic message.
The Freedom of beliefs is one of them, (formally) abolishing slavery in 19th century is another one.

That's where the Quran-O-Meter came into play...
And there are no nations ever in this world throughout the history, including those who claimed to be "Islamic", that have really reached 100% on Quran-O-Meter.

God doesn't care about your religion, religions are man made..
God will judge your 'action' on this world, and every little things that you do will got its reward, whatever good or bad that is..
a.k.a "You'll reap what you sow"..
In the eastern 'religion'/'culture' this thing is called as "Karmic Law".

Most of these quotes were not about Christianity exclusively. Most were about religions generally. I have to say, I agree with many of them.

Most of these quotes are influenced by Puritan thinking and some were Unitarians

I agree with you Jafar. No culture/country will follow God's law 100%. I don't feel it's even necessary. Especially since no human being knows 100% of God's law anyway. We would all be better off if we focused on kindness, charity, and humility instead of cramming our "fancies" down the throats of others.

I never said that we can force religion. On the contrary, I advocate freedom of religion. p

But I mean't to mean that if athiests go on increasing, it would be a problem for them. That's why I am scared. I'm scared of what might happen to them. &

You can read a short post by me of freedom of religion on my blog. All the quranic verses are translations of RK and Layth. Correct me if I'm wrong about statements made in my blog. angel peace
