7.God isma alhusna
2138 the best hue/colour is with God
7180 invoke on isma alhusna
17110 call on God on the most gracious names
208 To God are isma alhusna
5924 To God are isma alhusnaA thought,
If the best hue/colour is with God and to God is isma alhusna and we are asked to call on God. Could it be that if we adhere to the isma alhusna i.e. not just utter/call on God with the names but partake/uphold them would it be like experiencing a connection with God, being close/understanding God?Peace

Maybe thats why they say actions speak louder than words peace

Maybe
Another interesting observation is that with muttaqeen there is more emphasis on Jannah as a reward whereas muhsineen they get a reward but it?s more described us they get an ajr. No emphasis exactly what.. but they will be rewarded, they will be requited.
Not sure if it means anything? I have a theory but for now I?ll hold my fingers still and think about it more.
Peace

Well, if God has the best names, then if one tries to embody the attributes in some of His names (the ones applicable), then I think an argument could easily be made that this is a good thing, and we would become closer to God. I think this has been touched upon before in the forum.
It could be an interesting observation about the reward of mTQW and mHSN, if there is a difference.

Ha-Siin-Nun = To be handsome, make good, seem good/beautiful/comely/pleasing,
These are the results, that which makes/produces these results should, I think be the base meanings of the Root. One of the names falling in the category of "al husna" is "power-force" and "absolute control/dominance"; are these two things "beautiful" when we have famous quotation, "power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely"?

You?re talking about Allah?s names? Are you implying a quote suggests God will be corrupt?
What names were you thinking about exactly? This might help
http//www.islamicity.com/Mosque/99names.htmFor arguments sake yes, they are beautiful. Who better to have power/dominance/control than Allah?

That was with relation to the base meanings of the Root. Some thing becomes beautiful only when it is proportionately balanced with everything else and is in a state of equilibirium. His absolute power attained the perception of "Al Husna" because He at His own will prescribed "Mercy" as His obligation. Most of the "attributes-and hence attributive name" have a positive as well as a negative aspect/extremity.
