peace,
Thanks for the examples of "fi". Most of those can be understood as "in", but I see it can have different connotations/interpretations. This does not change the fact that the vast majority usage is "in".
Peace to you also .
Its my pleasure that at least you saw different connotations of ?Fi? as per the context of the verse which shift your prior position it to be ?in? only .
Re 260
from the rock (part of the rock is water FACT)Re 3680
from the green tree (part of the tree, e.g. stick is used to make fire FACT)So, both actually support my view of "min hu".
Hilarious indeed. Is it science Wakas ?
I have never heard anyone say any % of darkness when the sun is still up. Never. This use in terminology/perspective/phrasing is a forced position, due to your view.
Underlining is my emphasis. I do not understand what you wrote here. Please check and clarify.
I used % expression just to represent the matter as simple as possible . From my side I am off on this issue for now , now your turn can you explain me how night appears on any particular place on the earth ?
The verse 3637 didn?t say that ALLAH Almighty separate light/daylight/twilight from Layl rather said He separate the ?Nahaar? from Lalyl . How Layl can contain a whole Nahaar ?
Re use of "different"
An apple is different to an orange, but that does not mean they are complete opposites. This is a nonsensical position.Silly argument . In numerous verses ALLAH Almighty mentioned the difference between the night and day BUT not a single verse He mentioned about their similarity . Moreover the issue of this difference is particular and He again and again mentioned it . That is the darkness of night and light of the day . There where they differ completely.
Re 1778
My view is quite clear. If you regard layl to be pitch black then when AQ says "darkness of the night" it is redundant/superfluous, and in my view, misleading if layl meant pitch black. If it is said ?cold ice cream? , does it mean there are also some ?hot ice creams? ? Or if is mentioned ?rejected Satan? , will it not be vague to assume some other ?accepted Satan? ? Examples can go more and more . Actually your understanding of verse 1778 is biased by your pre determined decision , that?s why a simple presentation of ?Ghasaqi allayli? gave you the wrong impression that there must be existed ?Lighted Layl? . Moreover ?Ghasaqi? and ?Al-Layli? both are genitive masculine nouns which implies that ?Al-Layli? possesses ?Ghasaqi? which is simple and against your view .
Thanks .
