    1. Allah says that he guides the believers with the Quran, and ONLY the Quran

Allah has revealed the most beautiful hadith in the form of a Book, consistent with itself, (yet) repeating (its teaching in various aspects) the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble thereat; then their skins and their hearts do soften to the celebration of Allah's praises. Such is the guidance of Allah He guides therewith whom He pleases, but such as Allah leaves to stray, can have NO to guide.

Indeed there has come to you from Allah a Light and a Clear Book. With it Allah guides whoever follows His good pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from the darkness into the light by His permission He guides them onto a straight path.

This QUR'AN guides to the path that is most stable and balanced

IT guides to the path of the Almighty, the Most Praiseworthy

They said O our people! Lo! we have heard a scripture which hath been revealed after Moses, confirming that which was before it, guiding unto the truth and a right path.

Say (O Muhammad) It is revealed to me that a company of the Jinn gave ear, and they said Lo! we have heard a marvellous Qur'an, Which guides to righteousness, so we believe in it and we ascribe unto our Lord no partner.

and the Quran alone is ENOUGH to guide

Muhammad- "I am commanded to be a submitter. And to (athluwa / &#1618 read out the Qur'an. Whoever is guided is guided for his own good, and if they go astray, then say, 'I am simply a warner'."

Say (Muhammad) "The Signs are indeed with Allah and I am indeed a clear Warner. Is it not ENOUGH for you that We have sent down to you the Book that is (yuthla /&#1609 recited to them? There is certainly a mercy and reminder in that for people who believe."

Muhammad-?O people, the truth has come to you herein from your Lord. Whoever is guided is guided for his own good. And whoever goes astray, goes astray to his own detriment. I am not a guardian over you.?

    1. Allah says that the Quran is a clear book and that HE takes the responsibility of explaining it to us and clarfying its verses so that we may understand and be rightly guided

Do not move your tongue (O Muhammad) in anticipation of Quran. It is we who put it together as a Quran. Once we recite it, you shall follow it. Then, it is WE (Allah) who explain it.

A.L.R. This is a book whose verses have been perfected, and then explained in detail from One (All?h), Who is All-Wise Well-Acquainted with all things.

God thus explains His revelations FOR you, that you may understand.

He clarifies His revelations FOR the people, that they may take heed.

God thus clarifies the revelations FOR you, that you may reflect.

God thus clarifies FOR you, lest you go astray.

God thus clarifies the revelations FOR you. God is Omniscient, Most Wise.

God thus explains the revelations FOR you, that you may understand.

See how We (Allah) explain the revelations, perhaps they may comprehend.

God wills to explain things FOR you, and to guide you through past precedents, and to redeem you. God is Omniscient, Most Wise.

God thus explains His revelations FOR you, that you may be guided.

We have sent down to you Clear verses

3.Allah tells us to obey Allah and obey his messenger. It common sense that obeying the messenger and obeying Allah are no different, because Allah used his messenger to speak his words for him, which is the message (the Quran) to mankind.

It is clear that obeying the messenger is crucial for our guidance in Islam. Allah obviously loves us and wants us to be rightly guided, but if obeying the messenger meant obeying the words of Muhammad, then why is it that Allah never once recommends that we follow sources outside the Quran to do so?

-Never once are we ordered to obey the Muhammad or ANY of the prophets by name. Even when Allah gives orders to the WIVES of Muhammad in 3330-31, he does not tell them to obey Muhammad or obey their husband, but to obey the messenger.

-In the very first verse of Surah 66, Muhammad had forbidden something that Allah had made lawful in order to please his wives. Should we obey that as well (whatever it may be), eventhough Allah probably does not want us to considering it is condradicting his own commandments?

    1. Allah says that Muhammad is a good example for us to follow. If we needed OTHER sources in order to follow the good example of Muhammad, then why is it that Allah never recommends that we do so? Why would Allah tell us of his good example, which is clearly important for our guidance, and not explain in anywhere in his own book?

Fortunately, Allah does explain in detail what he means when referring to the good example of a prophet is in 460, 604, 16120-123

Allah also says that Muhammad has the highest moral character. Again, why is it that Allah never direct us to sources aside from the Quran to find out about the Moral character of Muhammad, since it is also clearly important for our guidance? He does in 4829 and possibly other verses in the Quran.

    1. If there were any other scriptures we needed for guidance, Allah, who obviously loves us and wants us to be guided in the best possible way, would have gladly recommended that we use them to. However, never ONCE in the Quran is the use or following of other guidances advocated by Allah, they are only prohibited by him in the strictess manner.

    In what-
    Hadith-
    after-
    Allah-
    and-
    his ayat-
    will they believe-

In what HADITH after ALLAH and HIS AYAT will they believe?

    In what-
    hadith-
    after this-
    will they believe-

In what HADITH after THIS will they believe?

In what HADITH after THIS will they believe?

They insist upon following conjecture, when THE GUIDANCE is GIVEN to them
    from their Lord.

                Selam

I find it very beneficial and we should be regularly reminded. Specially for the new commers who will not regularly go to the search function to look up such fundamental things. Thank you uzi for the reminder.

                Peace

I just thought up of 2 more convincing reasons. Tell me what you think?

                  1. Allah has forbidden SECTS in the religion if Islam

However, all sects in modern Islam have one common belief; The Qur'an

-Which is the only scripture and guidance authorized by Allah and guaranteed to bring success in both words
-The only scripture that Muhammad was ordered to follow

And when Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who do not wish to meet Us said ?Bring a Qur?an other than this, or change it!? Say ?It is not for me to change it of my own accord, I merely follow what is inspired to me. I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the retribution of a great day!?

Say "Then bring ye a Book from Allah, which is a better Guide than either of them, that I may follow it!"

-The only scripture Muhammad was ordered to judge by
-The only scripture Muhammad was ordered to warn by
-and the only scripture the people were ordered to judge by

                  1. What the prophet will say in about the misguided people on the Day of Judgement

And the messenger said ?My Lord, my people have deserted this Qur?an.??

Eventhough it is true that the people have abandoned the Qur'an for blasphemous man-made scriptures that have absolutely nothing to do with the religion of Islam, notice how Muhammad does not say 'my people have deserted this Quran and my sunnah'...
