Aoa, I will make this short and simple

It all started when I heard my father talk about the hadith and say how we cannot trust all of them..

This made me question the following

    1. Why would we trust the word of MAN that has even ONE mistake in it to bring us to heaven?
    2. Why wouldnt the word of Allah be enough to guide us? Why do we need additional manmade laws that could have easily been currupted?

I began to to extensive research with the Quran, to eventually find out(alhumdillillah) that the hadith has absolutely nothing to do with the religion approved by God, Islam. However, it plays a critical role in this man-made religon that is perceived to be Islam that the majority seem to be following.

Now, my goal is to make a change within my community to make people see the falsehood they have been ignorantly and mindlessly following.. Inshallah change will come when the 'muslims' of this world will follow the Islam that God intended.

Welcome and good luck with your plans to bring the change in your community. What is your game plan to bring the change? I think that will be really difficult.

haha... yea i always think about what to do

I am planning on printing out proof and posting it up in my local sunni mosque, but I am guessing it will probably be torn to shreds as soon as the reader gets the idea of the paper which is to follow the Quran alone just as god intended we do.

              peace uZi,

              Welcome to the forum.

Rather than using a sledgehammer to crack a nut, why not stick up "minor" points in your local Sunni mosque? This is likely to be more effective. I also recommend sticking up posters such as this. Same goes for everyone near a mosque.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

That's a good idea. If they studied the Quran then they will figure out the problems with Sunnism themselves.

                      Exactly.

My method to deliver the truth is actually talking to one person at the time and I don't go straight out, "your hadiths are useless". Instead, I ask him/her if s/he wants a peaceful conversation regarding Islam. Be patient and steadfast, don't expect s/he will change his/her mind straight away. Give some time and keep having peaceful conversation, InshaAllah, s/he will accept the idea of following Qur'an alone.

But people, this is what I have been promoting all this time!.......... ok, maybe not all this time, but for several years, in many of my posts. If you give people information or access to resources, you empower them significantly, and there is a transfer of knowledge/power. This is completely non-confrontational, an easy approach and anyone can do it.

I know I've said this before also, but if anyone wishes to contribute time/effort for projects, send me a pm.
