Help me please

Salamu alaykum
Im hoping to get some help by posting this message here.
I want to ask Allah to guide me to the straight path. By doing some research i have come to the conclusion that the correct Islam is either Ahl Sunnah wal Jammah or Quran Only.
I desperately need Allah to help me with this deccision i feel as if im believing more and more in the Quran only way but i do not know if it is Allah giving me these thoughts or the Shaytan!
Is there anything i can recite from the Quran or any dua that i can do to ask Allah to sincerly guide me?
I would like to spend the rest of my life calling to Islam and refuting the claims of the non muslims who fabricate and lie about Islam! but to do this i really need Allahs help first to guide me to the straight path, How do i go about doing this?

I heard this argument before, let me ask you a question IloveAllah, If you believe that the Quran is from GOd, and that the hadeeth are from mans memory of supposed sayings, then in which one do you feel more securing in believing in and following, and if you beleive in the Quran and that it is from GOd, then why would Satan be trying to lead you to the Quran alone, wouldnt satan only be able to deceive you and make you go astray by following man and his lies, which is hadeeth, and that satan can never lead you to the truth, which is God and the Quran. So tell me which path would you follow and feel more secure in. God and Quran or hadeeth and man.

The basis of any 'denomination'/sect in Islam is the Quran. So irregardless if you are Sunni/Shia/whatever you have to read the Quran first. And like many others here, I too have found the answer in there.

Correct me if i am wrong but wasnt the first Quran alone followers started in 1970's? what about all the rest of the Muslims before the 1970's who knew nothing about the Quran only way will they be punished in the hereafter?

How about start reading? (i know prob not what you wanna hear)
you see on each side of the picture people are going to share their ideas to you and pull you on both ends. instead of being a guinea pig in the middle. let's put the arguments on the table and see where the confusion is?
Knowledge of certainty is definitely a calming aura. so if you're worried about shaytan maybe we should see why or rather what you worry about it? what's the issues exactly? that you're inclined to Quran only but scared this is devils work? let's see.. what's so shayton like about following Quran? another thing if you're not certain maybe conclusions shouldn't be made yet.

I think that's wrong. Mohammed brought the message of the Quran, right? but somewhere down the line supposed prophet sayings got recorded (after his death) so by this we know that the ahle sunna wa jum3a started after the prophets dismissal.
instead of focusing on the times of when movements/followers started. let's focus on the message and see what is truth?

Peace ILOVEALLAH. I wanted to echo what Kurt has said here.
Also, you seem to be into polemics and engaging in discussions with non-muslims. With that perspective in mind, what is it that we often tell non-muslims? Do we not tell them that their prophets first gave them a pure message (whether it be the Tawrat, Injil, etc.) which their adherents later corrupted and added onto? Do we not tell them that, at their purest core, their texts/beliefs were once divine and righteous but were later modified and changed by mere men? Do we not tell them that if they would only follow God instead of the later man-made additions, they would be righteous?
So now I ask you what makes you think the adherents of Prophet Muhammad were immune to this same version of events? Is it not possible, indeed probable, that those who claim to follow Muhammad would do the same things the followers of Jesus/Moses/etc. would do? That they would corrupt the pure beliefs (in this case, the beliefs encapsulated in the Quran) with their own man-made additions (i.e. hadith)? That history would repeat itself? We are all tested, all of us, muslim and non-muslim alike. Surely you agree. So why would the adherents of Muhammad be immune to the same follies that the later adherents of Jesus/Moses/etc. fell for?
This is an incredibly important point. Remember, Allah does not play favorites; no one is immune to choosing man over Allah. We are not given some magical self-appointed seal of approval just cause we happen to align ourselves with the term "Muslim."
292-3 "Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, We believe, and not be tried? And certainly We tried those before them, so Allah will certainly know those who are true and He will certainly know the liars."

Is Islam wright for you, or is Muslim wright for you there a daffiness. PPL here do not fellow jest Muhammad Peace be up on him be the other Prophets to, you know so you only have to chose your own path.

God already knew the content of your prayer before you even said it.
Thus it doesn't matter much on 'what kind of dua' that you recite.. (or in what language)

I'm not a "Quran Alone" followers, and I'm certainly sure that those good folks being mentioned in the Quran; from Abraham, Noah, Moses, Jesus etc.. is NOT a Quran Alone followers as Quran just doesn't exist during their lifetime.
Yet.. I'm (striving) to be "God Alone" followers, and I believe that those good folks being mentioned in the Quran; from Abraham, Noah, Moses, Jesus etc.. is also a "God Alone" followers.Thus that answers your question above..
Everyone will be judged according to their deeds and NOT according to their sects and/or religion."Those who believe and those who are Judaism and Christians and Sabians,- ANYONE who believed in God and the Last Day, and WORK RIGHTEOUSNESS, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve." (262)

Respectfully.Allah tells us in The Quran to seek refuge in Allah from satan the rejected.
Always.
Always seek refuge in Him, The Most Powerful.Read the last two chapters of The Quran and you will see what God The Most Wise tells you to say.
If you are sincere and honest person, God will help you so much and guide you and keep in mind that i will also make dua tonight for you, to let you know that you are not alone in this war against satan the rejected, he is to all of us a clear enemy.
You got so many fiends here, so do not despair.
Trust God.
