My country didn't circumise girls, but where you live "Egype" is for a reason (heat and lot of girls as they said ), so this subject is closed, do whatever you want .
Dear Lord, are you for real?!?
So according to you, "heat and a lot of girls" is a "reason" to mutilate girls and physically as well as emotionally scar them for life? What in the world makes you think that women living in warm countries should have their private parts cut off? This is plain lunacy and clearly against science and religion.
What the number of girls living in a country has to do with the need to circumcise them is beyond my imagination. But by now I am not shocked anymore by the ridiculous and utterly bizarre arguments people will bring on in order to defend this barbaric practice.

I've seen that you're angry about those scholars , can you give their names to see their validity ?
No. If you want to debate particular scholars, I suggest you open a thread in the appropriate section.
and your heart but common sense I don't think so. and I'm wondering what do you meann by life experience ?
Very simple. We don't live in a cocoon, each one of us makes experiences, learns, interacts with people, observes things and so on. We grow in knowledge and spirituality over the years. So we need to take those observations into regard when evaluating something -- be it a fatwa or anything else. If I see or read someone saying something that I can clearly prove wrong by my own observations, then it is not only justified but my duty to not follow this person or their advice. Religion does not exist in a vacuum detached from the real world.

Look, you know nothing about this thing, so as I said before I've closed the subject, I think there are guys here are interseted in my answers. about what you have pointed out that you have study this issue, sorry to say that you maybe pretend that you did study this thing, because the first lesson that you will get that heat influence directly in the sexual desires of a person(female or male), for example guys in Saoudi Arabia are getting mature in 14 and 15 sometimes less, guys in Morocco are getting mature in 17 18 20 sometimes 15.

It is obvious that it is you who is extremely ignorant about the subject. Otherwise you wouldn't have spoken about "necessity" and brought up "justifications" which are an insult to any human being with a brain to think.
And it is not up to you to close a subject.

Oh we are all interested in your answers hail

Who do you think you are to say someone 'pretends' to study something? If heat influences sexual desire then every man in Egypt should be castrated. Circumcision for a man does nothing to eliminate his sexual desire, it takes it all away for a women, so why talk of heat and circumcision relating only to women? that doesnt make any sense.

Hi Rasul,
you are mixing things up and quoting me out of context.
The part of my post that you quoted is referring to female genital mutilation -- FGM. Reformer said there are justifications and reasons for it.
Are you agreeing with him that this is right? Or how am I to understand your statement above? Or were you intending to say you agree with him in his views about tattoos? Could you please clarify?
The advice about using brains is condescending, insulting and unnecessary.
Wasn't it you who previously said we should follow the majority? Following the majority and using your brain often do not go hand in hand, unfortunately.

And it is not up to you to close a subject.
I closed the subject between me and you >>> no more answer from me to you.

Who said I had a problem with breastfeeding? I said no such thing. Please read my posts properly when responding.
We were speaking about Al Azhar and their fatawa, and I was referring to a particularly insane fatwa that was issued some time ago. Reformer knew what I was talking about. So from the context it should have been clear that I am not opposed to breastfeeding in any form, but to a particular fatwa about breastfeeding, in which it was stated that a woman could breastfeed her male colleague.
According to Islamic tradition, or Hadith, breast-feeding establishes a degree of maternal relation, even if a woman nurses a child who is not biologically hers.
In his fatwa, Dr Atiya, the head of al-Azhar's Department of Hadith, said such teachings could equally apply to adults.
He said that if a woman fed a male colleague "directly from her breast" at least five times they would establish a family bond and thus be allowed to be alone together at work.
"Breast feeding an adult puts an end to the problem of the private meeting, and does not ban marriage," he ruled.
"A woman at work can take off the veil or reveal her hair in front of someone whom she breastfed."
