Are muslimahs and muslims brothers & sisters and forbidden to marry one another

Where does the quran say that we should be treated like brothers and sisters? I'm sure it sates that we should treat each other like friends. I wouldn't say girlfriends and boyfriends, since such terms are ageist. Quran 971... because quran 2235 makes that clear. And if we were treating each other like brothers and sisters, then it means we have no interest in quran 2235.
But I cannot give her a reply... because she ordered me to not talk to her. I once told a convert muslimah, that if she blocked people... then the god will block her (she blocked me once, I created a new account). What happened to her is that she then made something that I would consider to be of occult... she rejected my consideration and blocked me again, as well as her friend who she learned that occult thing from... though they didn't consider it to be occult but rather normal. What then happened to that girl... well the last time I saw her on youtube, she posted a video on how her dog died and she had issues with islam, and thus she had become an atheist... no hijab what not. Unfortunately her friend became secular and at issue with islam as well though considered herself a muslim.
For some reason I almost blame myself... but inshallah the god has the greater purpose in mind... perhaps they're included? The god knows.
But ultimately, when someone tells me to do something, these day I do it... unless if it involves personal things that I have authority of.
Did I say it was from the Quran? Please quote me. Dude brothers and sisters in the sense of brotherhood of islam, as in mutual respect, connection by guidance not blood. 2235 ? how does this have any correlation? you?re so silly sometimes.
Why ask if you have accepted her word of not replying because she ordered you not to talk to her?
Some people block others because they?re a nuisance.

(4910)The Believers are but a single Brotherhood So make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers And fear Allah that ye may receive Mercy.
Well, not exactly asking Believers to treat each other like brothers and sisters... But I take it that ayah asks us to treat Believers like you will treat your own family.
BTW, I assume you like this girl? Why don't you approach and talk to her in a nice and respectful manner, not like as a man to a woman, but as a Muslim to another Muslim. She showed that she had some doubts and issues about Islam, then why don't you come to her, offering some help as best as you can? That's what I'll do to any Muslims who are struggling with Islam. InshaAllah if you can help her resolve her issues, you two can be closer, as Brother and Sister in Islam of course, and she may not reject you anymore.
What did you do that made her reject you by the way?
So I take it that you're my brother then? No I don't think "brotherhood" means we define ourselves as brothers and sisters. That is I don't think so.
http//corpus.quran.com/wordmorphology.jsp?location=%2849103%29 Since it's a masculine... as well as the word that translates as "believers", that is also masculine. And this would probably provide an excellent example to how the friday congregation solves that issue. So I guess it would only apply to masculine entities.

in references to 4910 it's an ideological connotation, it's not to be taken literally. if you don't know the difference look it up in the dictionary if still in doubt, we could all go and get a biological blood test.
peace.
The quran requires no contradictions. It has to be by the book with the quran first. We can think of ideological connotations after that.
Biological test? No no no I cannot accept that sort of thinking. Why? Because they say that it's forbidden for a man to marry his fostered son's wife. But that's not true according to the quran. So do we have still have the concept of fostering other peoples children and taking away their fathers names and giving them our own? I don't think we do that. Thus the concept of fostering... goes out the window for the muslim as with the term and usage... and thus we have the concept of neutered fostering, which ends up with muslims not even using that term and rejecting it and say "no we don't foster, we just look after". So why should we end up reverse neutering this sense when it comes to creating fostered sibling relationships? Do you get that? Why do we make two people who are not related, become foster siblings? When it comes to foster brother and sisters, they don't normally get married to one another. I believe there is some research which suggest that if males and females (as boys and girls) spend much time together in a home, they naturally end up considering each other as blood relatives and it would be detestable for them to consider partnered relationships. Perhaps this was in that documentary research series called "child of our time", but I cannot really recall where I heard that from.
The verse only refers to men. And we see that the men congregate in mosques more so than women, as well as on Fridays (yawm al jumma). Rather than women called to congregating such a thing. Surely that is in the quran?
Perhaps I can think of how you could suggest an alternative to that? But for that suggestion you would need to use a report of a battle, which tells us how a caravan of women came along with the men and the other army got afraid because the muslims seemed to have so many more troops.
Could you think of any quranic verses that would link to that quran 4910 is somehow ideological connotation, or how that linked verse relates to brotherhood and sisterhood and "sibling-hood"?

I don?t believe ?brethren in faith? is exclusive to males/brothers.
Take 3103 for example
What about 911? Do you think transgressors are only male and not female?
Quran 3103 doesn't talk about calling one another "brother and sister".
Quran 911 refers to the enemy who have broken ties and peace treaties with the muslims, if they repent and establish prayers and become muslim they are brethren... the entire verse is very masculine itself. http//corpus.quran.com/wordmorphology.jsp?location=%289112%29 If it said they are your brethren and sisters then that would put that concept into it. Normally the muslims wouldn't be fighting women, and expecting them to repent because of quran 419 (and because women don't naturally fight like that or break contracts and go for war... and for those who do, would normally get executed for treason) ... and when it comes to women repenting... you'll need to find another verse for that one. Because as far as I know from quran 415, after women do something bad they're confined to enclosed spaces, until the god gives a way out whatever that may be.

You?re right 3103 doesn?t say ?call one another brother and/or sister? though it talks about believers who hold firmly to the rope of god, together so they won?t be divided. ... and that god instilled a friendship between believers, and they became ?ikhwanun? by god?s favour. I might be wrong but from what i know ?ikhwanun? is plural which can work for both genders. In arabic all words are feminine or masculine though in plural form i think it can work both ways. If you believe it is only for the brothers, the men, then what are women to do? Sit back and watch?
I?m aware what the verse 911 refers to, thanks for clarity though your link 419 is taken out of context. It has nothing to do with fighting or war nor execution. You can?t assume women don?t ?naturally? fight like that. Today many women are in the army. 415 is talking about fahisha, fahisha isn?t just something bad it?s a fahisha! not just any bad deed. Bad is subjective to many terms.
I never thought of muslim brothers and sisters as the way you are seeing it, i just see it as an ideological connotation. Maybe i'm wrong but i don't see strong evidence against this.

Oh dear, why do we have to take things literally. When the Qur'an says that Believers are are but a single Brotherhood, it means (IMO), that all Believers need to treat each other like they will to their family members.
In my view, Believers share something in a common; a bond that cannot be broken. The Qur'an states that a Believers is someone who once believes, never turns back in faith (A true Believer will never become a disbeliever). Anyway... the Believers are hence connected to each other by their commitment/dedication/faith to God. It's the connection you share with your biological family members... you can have an ex-boyfriend, an ex-boss, an ex-friend, but you can never have an ex-mother, ex-father, ex-brother or ex-sister because you and your family members are biologically connected; you share the same blood. Same with the Believers, you share something that is one of, if not the strongest connection there will ever be your belief and commitment to God. I hope I make sense...
To answer the title of this thread; NO, female and male Believers are NOT forbidden to marry each other. In fact, 2221 ordains the Believers to not marry anyone but the Believers.
I don't know why you are so frustrated about calling other Believers/Muslims Brothers or Sisters. I personally find it very endearing. Truth be told, I feel strong connection to those who share the same faith as I do; I feel many whom I have talked to are really close friends, like I have known them forever, even though we have not met them in person. But that's just me.

Because they use the same drugs? I don't think I can accept such logic. No... you make little sense. In fact you could say that you are mistaken.

It doesn't say "believers", the quran is in arabic. It says "believers-masculine". Yes exactly, females and males are not forbidden to marry unless if they are defined in the quran that they are of specific relationships. Opinion? Your opinion? According to what verse of the quran do you use opinions without any merits or qualified procedures? Treat one another like they do family members? As in not to have sexual relationships with family members? Where in the quran does it say that the believers should treat everyone like their own family members?
Believers share the belief together, aye. The quran describes us as friends to one another. Not brothers and sisters... who are denied marriage to one another.
Your understanding of brothers and sisters of endearing, I feel, is the same as those who claim "muhammad is alive, we should love him and do things that aren't even in the quran because we want to love the prophet out of our own good hearts".
I cannot marry and have children with my sister, I can with you. How can you be my sister?
Fine... all the muslims are brothers to you as you wish it... then of course you can never marry any of them. Your only choice is non-muslims as they are not brothers for you... and because of the ignorance of many so called as someone would call them here "sunnis", their daughters end up only talking to non-muslims and marrying them.
