    In this forum there is

1)Al Khidr who is stating that (DEFENSE FOR 5 PRAYERS A DAY)

We have dissected the "3 Salaat Theory" and intellectually DESTROYED it, beyond doubt
    http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=12200.msg92697#msg92697

2)tanveermd who is stating that (DEFENSE FOR 2 PRAYERS A DAY)

The obligatory salat is two times per day according to the Qur'aan
    http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=12074.msg113827#msg113827

3)Layth (and others) who is stating that (DEFENSE FOR 3 PRAYERS A DAY)

According to the Quran, there are three prescribed times for carrying out the Salat
    http//free-minds.org/salat

4)jawad_mugniya who is stating that (DEFENSE FOR 4 PRAYERS A DAY)

    1114 ; 1778 ; 2458 ; 20130 ; 3832 ; speak about Fajr, Maghreeb and Isha
3018 ; 4102 ; speak about Dhuhr and 629 speaks about salat min yawm al jumu'a to perform at the time of Dhuhr

2238 doesn't speak about Salat because the context preceding and succeeding the verse is about marriage, divorce, mahr etc.

          Peace Wakas,

          Thanks for the tip.

Edit I've looked at the thread (currently 16 pages of them) and besides having a little background, the 4-salat isn't there D

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I meant that thread will allow you to gauge jawad's views as in thinking/outlook in general.

              Peace Wakas,

              No worries D

The reason I'm interested is because I'm collecting articles for different view points of salat.
Hence, when someone asks me "how to do salat" (or something along that line), I can just feed her/him various view points so that s/he can reach whatever conclusions deemed suitable.
              I have 2, 3, 5, 6, and 0. But not yet 4. D

                  Peace Jack,

The 6-salat is a point of view from a friend of mine.
I have the article but in Bahasa Indonesia D

In short, the additional mandatory salat, according to his view, is stated in 1779 as the "midnight salat".

What I learnt about Salat from Quran,
Salat is a ritual of reciting Quran, Lead by Mohammed/Imam, followed by many.
It asks the many to do Zakat/Offerings, this ritual is not new to Mohammed, its the same followed by many previous generations including Hindus,Jews etc..

Salat is timed event where Mohammed/Imam leads a group of people, and the Mohammed/Imam repeats the ritual again when new set of people come again with their offerings/Zakat.
The timing is not fixed but the Imam can repeat the ritual as of when people comes in.

This is similar to how a Hindu priest do the ritual of Poojas in their temple Sanctuary with the the offerings brought by people, the only difference is the Idols. The Hindus prayers are conducted in the early morning, afternoon and evening.

I think Salat is community benefiting ritual where people do Zakat/Charity.

                          more to learn.

Six Prayers Time According to the Qur'an
Six Prayers Time According to the Qur'an
Written for the God - is precisely

Muslim prayer is said to have been taught by the Apostles. So it is Sunnah . The scholars never admitted bahawa prayer is " Sunnah "of God , which is a practice taught by God through His Book , the Qur'an . Instead, they always say 'Is there a way prayer in the Qur'an ! "

Writing this answer such issues . Inside this answer , all the information referred to the Qur'an alone, and the information will be presented will offend because unlike normal practice the Muslim prayer . dikemukan everything that is not to prove that Muslims are wrong , but simply to state what is contained in the Qur'an about prayer , in the true sense .

                            Name and Time
Subject of the time we generally familiar with the term dawn , morning , noon , afternoon , evening , night , at midnight ( the depth of the night ) . Same with the term Dawn , morning, midday , ashar , sunset , evening , Tahajjud .

Explanation dimulakan with memperihalkan name for each prayer. There is a prayer in the Qur'an , specifically pray Fajr ( dawn , 2458 ) and ( 8118 , when the time the sky looks bright but the sun still appearing ) , wusthaa prayer , or prayer in the middle ( 2238 ) . and Isha prayers ( 2458 ) , as well as the Friday prayer ( 629 ) and pray Tahajjud ( 1779 ) the name of this prayer shows the time as well. Time - time to be explained again with a another paragraph reads

Be steadfast in prayer from the sun after a dark night and slipping up ( also establish regular prayers ) Dawn . Lo Subuh prayer that was witnessed ( by angels ) . ( 1778 )

This means that when the sun slips just above our heads , that is the command to perform the prayer until the darkness of night .

Establish worship at the edge of the afternoon (morning and evening ) and at the beginning portion of the night. Verily good deeds were abolished ( sins ) of bad deeds . That's a warning for those who remember. ( 11114 )

Perkenaan about " Wusta " diperjelaskan longer wanted here. He means " in the middle " , referring to the time on both banks of the afternoon ( between morning and evening ) is usually called ( midday and Ashr ) . And at the beginning of the night generally recognized as a time of maghrib .

So establish prayer was (as usual ) . Indeed it is the prayer time determined fardhu upon those who believe . ( 4103 )

Therefore, the Qur'an describes itself , further explained with a paragraph reads

And at a party the night praying tahajudlah you as an additional service to you , hopefully your Lord raise you to a place of great glory . ( 1779 )

explain a little about Tahajjud prayer or prayer is added
The above verse God tells you to pray tahajudlah as an additional service above verse clearly says " Command " additional worship fardhu , why say fardhu ? "Let us take a parable of an employer ordered to command his slave to make him "please add the water into the pot on every night " and the order made a valid assessment . " So it is clear what God says that even if it is extra but makes an assessment then it shall be said or fardhu .

So pray according to the Qur'an that there are six times, in the Fajr ( dawn ) , midday ( noon ) , Ashr (afternoon ) , Maghrib ( sunset ) , Isha (dark night) and Tahajjud (midnight ) . And all is said Payer .

So the above statement explained that no prayer names , only soften - time there was an order to perform the prayer, then you shalatlah as God has taught people praying earlier .

This means that what we already know that the prayers were generally five times and the law is mandatory , as well as extra prayers given by God to do any legal obligation ( fardhu ) , so the entirety of the prayer we become six times , rather than the usual five Muslims live .

                            Terms and Prayer Time
Prayer should be done at the times that God determined, like his direction , which reads

So if you have completed the prayer ( mu ) , remember Allah , standing, sitting and lying in time . Then when you have to feel secure , then establish the prayer was (as usual ) . Indeed it is the prayer time determined fardhu upon those who believe . ( 4103 )

Also there is no single verse in the Qur'an which allow the prayer was done at the time which is not the time , like menjamakkannya ( ie combining two prayers Fardhu into One ) . Although in most circumstances prayers should be done on a time- waktunya.Ayat explain the following

If you are in a state of fear ( the danger ), then while walking or riding shalatlah . Then , when you have a safe , then the call of God ( shalatlah ) , as God has taught you what ye knew not . ( 2239 )

But prayer can be in qashar or subtracted from raka'atnya .

" And when you travel on earth , it is not why you had qashar worship ( you ) , if ye fear that those who disbelieve . Surely those who disbelieve are the real enemy for you . " ( 4101 )

                            Tahajud perkenaan about prayer are

O thou wrapped up ( Muhammad ) , get up ( for prayer) at night, except a few ( thereof) , ( ie ) demi seperduanya or subtract from it a little. or more than half that. And read the Qur'an it slowly . Verily, We will reduce the weight kapadamu words . Actually woke up at night is more appropriate ( for the solemn ) and reading at the time was more impressive . ( 731-6 )

Truly your Lord knows that you stand up ( prayer) is less than two -thirds of the night, or half the night or one-third and ( so did ) a party of people who are with you ... ( 7320 )

Obviously the above is said that this prayer is said part of the prayer that is required ( fardhu ) , namely the implementation of two -thirds of the night (about 3 hours pagian ) , half the night ( 12 hours a night ) or a third of the night ( ie around 10 pm ) .

... And God set the size of night and day . Allah knoweth that ye could not determine the boundaries of those times ... ( 7320 )

Likewise , rather than verse, the faithful are reminded to take measures to prayer as taught by God - all God's teachings contained in the Qur'an .

                            Fitr
" And when you travel through the earth , it is not why you had qashar prayer ( mu ) , if ye fear that those who disbelieve . Surely those who disbelieve are the real enemy for you . " ( 4101 )

And when you are in the midst of them ( friends ) and you're trying to establish their prayers together , then let a party of them stand ( prayer ) with thee , and carry guns , then when they ( the prayer along with you ), prostration ( 've improved serakaat ) , then let them move from behind you ( to face the enemy ) and let him come second group that has not pray , then bersembahyanglah them with you . ( 4102 )

Explained that regarding the above that is counted rak'ah two cycles , Allah gives parables that the circumstances require perangpun God ( prayer fardhu ) . Parable of the above explains how to form an in - qashar prayers .

                            Wudu
About ablution also ( the word " ablution "is not mentioned in the Qur'an ) , only a portion of four limbs are involved, namely the face , hands , head and legs. This is explained by the following paragraph

O ye who believe , if you want the prayer, then wash your faces and hands up to the elbows , and rub your heads and (wash ) your feet up with both ankles, Allah would complete His favor to you , that ye may be grateful. ( 56 )

This verse has also called by the Apostle , and he can not be added portion - portion of the other members of ablution , because if he did so then God would kill him. His Word

He was the revelation from the Lord of hosts. Had he ( Muhammad ) had some words of ( a ) We will, We really hold him on his right hand then actually we cut the rope heart muscle . ( 6943-46 )

                            Qibla
Qibla by the Qur'an is the Grand Mosque , which lies in the middle of Ka'ba . The Apostle himself has been looking for him first and then God showed him through the following verse

Indeed We ( often) see your face looking up to heaven , then indeed We shall turn you into a direction that you prefer. Palingkanlah your face towards the Sacred Mosque . And wherever you are, palingkanlah your face toward him . And verily the people ( Jews and Christians ) who were given the Scripture ( the Torah and the Gospels) knew that it was turned into the Grand Mosque is the truth from their Lord and God never unaware of what they do ( 2144 )

And where have you ( out ), then palingkanlah face toward the Sacred Mosque . And wherever ye ( all) are, then palingkanlah your face toward him , so that no human hujjah over you, except those among them who do wrong . Thou shalt not fear them and fear Me ( alone ) . And to me , perfected My favor upon you , and that ye may be guided. ( 2150 )

                            Clothing
Clothing for prayer is good or beautiful , because when it confronted the people and to communicate with the Creator . In fact , God has sent to take the jewelry in any mosque , which meant the bow. And done well prostrate in prayer . His Word

                            O son of Adam , wear beautiful clothes in each ( entering ) the mosque . ( 731 )

                            Communicate
Prayer is a special way of interacting with God because He dimulakan by cleaning a portion - portion of certain limbs . One purpose than to communicate with his people is to beg for help . Of His Word

Make patience and prayers as penolongmu . And indeed so it was really hard , except for people who Khushuu ' ( 245 )

Ask Him. petition is the best according to what is taught in the Qur'an. Prayers not only time to beg for help but also a time for remembrance of Him. This is explained by a another paragraph reads

Verily I am Allah, there is no God (which is right ) than I , so worship Me and establish regular prayer for My remembrance. ( 2014 )

                            Language
He forbade to pray when what is spoken in it is not understood . His Word

O ye who believe , do not you pray , you are drunk , so you understand what you say ( 443 )

Prayers That means if we read the verses of God in obliging us to understand than the mean ( womb ) . Suppose that what we read Surat Al - Ikhlas " He is Allah , the Almighty . God is the God who depend on Him all things. He is no litter , nor begotten and none equal to Him. " Do not let us read the verses in Arabic we do not understand His words (content or meaning ) Likewise with the other verses contained in the Qur'an .

After the prayer is prohibited if everything you say is not understood and one that continues to do well , then what is the ruling ? Want to be reminded here bahawa devil has become an infidel after denying just one ( only) command of Allah ! So he said " infidels . "

                            Voice
Tone of voice in prayer is not too high nor too low but in the middle , and this applies to all prayers . His word

... And do not harden your voice in shalatmu and be not too humble and seek a middle way between the two was . " ( 17110 )

                            Appeal
Prayer begins by calling on His name , such as God , or Ar - Rahman ( The Beneficent ) or anywhere beautiful His name is taught in the Qur'an. His Word

Say " Call upon Allah, or summon the Ar - Rahman. By any name you call upon , He has al asmaaul Husna ( the names of the best ) . " ( 17110 )

The next paragraph is set what to say after this appeal , namely

And say "Praise be to Allah Who has no children and has no allies in his kingdom , and He is not also despicable that require helper and magnify Him with the glorification of the maximum . ( 17111 )

                            Movement and reading
Standing , bowing (subject ) and bowed repeatedly mentioned in the Qur'an.

                            First
                            Beginning with the feet.

hadapkanlah standing straight on your face to the religion of Allah... ( 3030 )

Calling on the name of Allah ( al asmaaul Husna ) Allahu akbar , or Ar rahman or others ( 208 ) . Then say

"Indeed sembahyangku , ibadatku , my life and my death are for Allah, Lord of the Worlds. ' ( 6162 ),

No allies and to Him , and so that's what prompted me and I was the person who first surrendered (to Allah ). ( 6163 )

Then read Al -Fatiha ( 1587 ) . Then forwarded to the read the verse in the Qur'an there by keperluannya ( letter may be short or long ). ( 7320 ) .

                            Second

Back up and repeat as above .

                            Fourth
                            Sit back and read " Subhanakallahumma " ( 1010 ), then

"Our Lord , we believe , so forgive us and grant us mercy and You are the mercy of the Best . " ( 23109 )

                            Then

"Our Lord accept from us ( our practice ) , real Thou art the Hearer , the Knower . " ( 2127 )

                            Fifth
                            said lid "Hail , Lord of Alhamdulilaahi ' aalamin . " ( 1010 )

                            Exalt as in

This prayer was taught by the Qur'an which is also done by the Prophet and Messenger before Muhammad . Regarding the underlined text that is at the core of the circuit and tuntunannya while the verses of his prayer is in accordance with the will and keiginan and needs.

Supplement regular prayer recited when the reading of prayers Tahajjud namely

" My God , put me in the correct entry and remove it (too ) are out I was right and give it to me from the side to help you power and " Truth has come and falsehood has vanished. " Verily , falsehood is something which must vanish . ( 1780-81 )

                            Prayers believer
Prosperous people who believe , (that ) the people who Khushuu 'in worship , and people are distancing themselves from the ( deeds and sayings ) are not useful, and people who practice regular charity , and people who guard their chastity, Except with their wives or the slaves they had, indeed, they are not to terceIa . Whoever seeks beyond that then they are those who transgress. And the people who maintain the mandate , the mandate ( the bear ) and his promise . and the people who maintain prayers. They are the ones who will inherit , ( ie ) who will inherit the heaven paradise . They will abide therein. ( 2311 )

                            Ban
Another ban on the prayer (in addition to a greeting that is not understood ) as detailed in the Qur'an is called for , or mention , the names other than his name . Only the Name of God is called on in prayer. This difahamkan than the following verse which reads

" And verily the mosques , it belonged to God. "You must worship in it can become next to ( worship ) God. " ( 7218 )

                            Cover
Many sayings about prayer according to the teachings of God in the Qur'an here. So in the end we must trust created especially books or traditions which never clear who he said was in existence in the fifth - largest five books of Hadith in the world to follow orders His Messenger .

                            The question
                            And who is more correct word from God ? ( 4122 ) or messenger Muhammad ( 534 ) ?

                            Understanding the Meaning of Prayer
By Adley ( [email protected] email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it )

                            Main Issues
Often the term " prayer " is defined simply as the " prayer " or " ritual that begins with the Takbir and ends with love. " And there is also a saying that prayer is the same with " pray. " Although these definitions are very popular , but in reality he does not have a high truth value when filtered by al - qur'an . In this article, will be shown how the concept of " prayer " used in the al - qur'an , and because of this Qur'anic terminology , then to determine its meaning must also be in accordance with the uses in the al - qur'an .

                            Not Prayers Du'a
The concept of " prayer " is clearly not the same as the concept of " prayer . " This can be seen from the following paragraph .

My Lord , make me and my grandson children who still establish the prayer , Our Lord , accept my prayer (du'aa) . ( 1440 )

Therefore, do not you call (tad'u) another god beside God , who causes you to include people who are punished. ( 26213 )

They said "Beseech (ud'u) to your Lord for us , that He make clear to us , whether it's cows . " Moses replied "Verily, Allah says that the cow is a cow neither old nor young ; the middle of it , then do it what is commanded thee " . ( 268 )

In the language of al - qur'an , " praying "that has the basic form of " du'aa " whose root word Dal - Waw - 'Ayn by Lane 's Lexicon . Several meanings can be found for this word are call upon ( calling to a higher ) , cry out ( calling out loud or louder ) , call outs ( calling something a lot ) , and Petition ( petition ) .

So from here can be concluded that at its core, the concept of " prayer "is" calling , calling , or pleading " and in the context of the verses above, call, call , or petition addressed to God. In addition, it is clear that other than pray that prayer from the following verses .

And to Allah belong the east and west , so wherever ye turn there is the Face of God . Surely Allah is Knower shade . ( 2115 )

And verily We have created man and know what prompted by his heart , and We are nearer to him than his neck vein . ( 5016 )

Should we perform a ritual to pray to the One who was so close to our existence in all directions at once ? Therefore logislah why Allah states the following

And when My servants ask thee concerning Me, then surely I was close. I granted the request of people who pleaded to me , then let them listen to me and let them believe in Me , so they are always in the truth . ( 2186 )

Does Same With Prayer Prayer ?
                            Let's start with a simple paragraph .

Read what has been revealed to you , namely al - book and be steadfast in prayer. Surely prayer restrains from shameful and unjust . And verily remembrance of Allah is greatest . And Allah knoweth what ye do. ( 2945 )

If prayer is a prayer , why do so many people praying Just keep doing shameful and unjust deeds ? Usually answered with prayers that have not been true. What's hard it doing the ritual is "right " ? Perhaps the most appropriate answer is that they are doing things that are cruel and unjust does not know what it is prayer , but only knew what it was worship.

Let us look at the story of Shoaib to understand the prayer.

They said O Shu'aib , whether shalatmu (shalaatuka) who told you that we leave what is worshiped by our fathers or our prohibits perpetrate what we want on our property ? Surely you are a very intelligent trustees again . " ( 1187 )

If prayer is a ritual called " worship " Allah's Apostle then how Shoaib implement the above , that he sent the treasure spent correctly ? How can a ritual can achieve this? Official translations of the Department of Religious Affairs (MORA ) to freely translate " shalaatuka " as a " religion " which of course in addition to giving the wrong direction , also forgetting that in al - quran there is still the concept of " din " that they are often translated as " religion . God does not arbitrarily choose the word " prayers "is not a " din "that was certainly different from its meaning , can not be imposed for the same.

Now let us look from another perspective .

Do you not know that Allah , glorify Him what is in the heavens and the earth and birds with their wings . already know each prayer (shalaatahu) and beads , and Allah is Aware of what they do . ( 2441 )

Well , how do I pray birds ? Do they perform a ritual ? How does the sun , moon , earth , trees , oceans, and so perform the ritual prayer ? When answered that each of them has their own special rituals , is there any evidence of al - qur'an ?

From 1187 and 2441 was already clear that prayer is not prayer . But for those still not convinced , let us read a paragraph again.

Take alms from their wealth , with the charity that you cleanse and purify them , and shalatlah (shalli) for them. Lo pray ye (shalaataka) it is peace for their souls . And Allah is Hearer , Knower . ( 9103 )

As usual , also with a relaxed DepAg translating both the emergence of " prayer "in the paragraph above as " prayer . " Clearly understand the " prayer "as" worship "brings a surprising situation here. What does that mean that someone is praying for the peace of the soul of others? May be added with the following paragraphs .

Those who got shalawat (shalawaatun) and a mercy from their Lord , and they are the ones that receive guidance. ( 2157 )

The word " shalawat "is the plural form of " prayer. " If prayer is a prayer , then pray to God for what His creation ? Think of " shalawat " that's kind of like the traditional understanding of ritual , then did God make sense to carry out a ritual that dipesembahkan to his creation ? Answer " Yes "here is the answer to be very forced and oppose all kinds of logic . Oh , as well as notes, DepAg translate " shalawat " as a " blessing is perfect. " Although quite creative , but unfortunately it only makes the translation DepAg full of contradictions .

Are you still convinced that prayer is a prayer ? With a little open al - qur'an , we can easily state that prayer is not the same as a ritual known as " worship. "

                            Understanding the Concept of Prayer
By paying attention to how the word " pray " is used in al - quran , we will be able to better understand what is actually meant by prayer.

                            Not Turning
                            Let's start with 7531-32 .

And he did not want to justify (shaddaqa) and would not pray (shallaa) . ( 7531 )

But he denied (kadz - dzaba) and turned (tawallaa) . ( 7532 )

Of the two short paragraphs above we have started to understand the prayers are far better than the traditional understanding . Two paragraphs above, as is often done by al - qur'an , making the contrast between positive and negative . We can learn that to justify (shaddaqa) his opponent is denied (kadz - dzaba) . And it turns out prayer (shallaa) his opponent is turned (tawallaa) . In other words , the two paragraphs above provide an understanding that prayer is "no turning "or in other words " turn into a certain direction . "

                            Association Agreement
Now let us learn from the case of the polytheists in the Qur'an for a better understanding of the concept of prayer. Consider the following two paragraphs .

Except for the idolaters who you have entered into an agreement and they do not reduce anything from it and they do not help someone who is hostile to you , then they had to fulfill his promise to limit his time . Verily Allah loves those who fear Allah . ( 94 )

When was discharged the sacred month , then slay the idolaters wherever ye that find them, and catch them . Kepunglah them and intailah in place surveillance . If they repent and establish worship (ash- shalaata) and regular charity , then give them the freedom to walk . Surely Allah is Forgiving , Merciful . ( 95 )

Then forwarded to the following paragraph .

They do not respect believers , kinship , or agreement. And those are they who are transgressors . ( 910 )

If they repent , establish regular prayer (ash- shalaata) and regular charity , then they are your brothers in the din . And we explain those verses for a people who know. ( 911 )

If they violate his oath after their covenant, and they revile your religion , then fight the leaders of the unbelievers , because they actually are people that can not be held to his promise, in order that they stop . ( 912 )

Beginning of Surah 9 is clearly not talking about a ritual in any form. Conditions described in the beginning of this Surah is the condition when there is conflict or war . Of 95 and 911 we find an interesting thing . There is no point in the ritual prayer for those who are polytheists because it will not prove anything , especially when the full conditions of conflict .

The meaning of prayer from the beginning of Surah 9 can be understood as " obey the covenant . " The concept is quite simple the polytheists who are committed to adhere to the agreements that have been agreed upon , should not be combated . Similar meaning can also be seen in the following paragraph .

O ye who believe , if any one of you face death , while he would make one , so be witnessed by two just men among you ; or two other people if you journey on earth , and ye shall be stricken danger of death . You hold two witnesses after the prayer (ash- shalaati) , then they let them swear by Allah if you are in doubt " We will not exchange vows with prices a little , although he was friends relatives, and we will not hide the testimony of God behold us if this would include people who sinner " . ( 5106 )

Both witnesses had been duly comply with treaty commitments they make. In this case the agreement is binding on a person who uttered an oath so that the process of writing a will are free from suspicion .

                            Learning Process
Let us repeat the above questions Why would anyone who claims to have prayed but still do cruel and unjust ? Prayer should prevent both. But it was obviously impossible a ritual can create a better human . To try to answer the riddle 2945 we need the help of other verses .

They said "O Shoaib , whether shalatmu (shalaatuka) who told you that we leave what is worshiped by our fathers or our prohibits perpetrate what we want on our property ? Surely you are a very intelligent trustees again . " ( 1187 )

It seems that the prayers are done Shoaib make him understand what is shameful and unjust , and which are not. That's why he can inform his people about the truth . From there , it appears that prayer is something that can increase one's knowledge .

O ye who believe , do not you pray , you are drunk , so you understand what you're saying ... ( 443 )

Why does God declare that in executing our prayers have to understand what we say ? To be honest , understand the prayer as a ritual performed in a foreign language not understood a lot of people is not something that is consistent with the purpose of paragraph above.

Shoaib was a believer. He understands what he is saying to his people . And understanding that came due that he did pray . So it is logical what is contained in 443 , that if Shoaib perform prayer while drunk or did not understand what he was getting from these activities, it is impossible to 1187 into reality .

Read what has been revealed to you , namely al - book and be steadfast in prayer. Surely prayer restrains from shameful and unjust . And verily remembrance of Allah is greatest . And Allah knoweth what ye do. ( 2945 )

Notice the beginning of the paragraph above, which command to read what has been revealed to us . Apparently reading activity is closely related to prayer. It also can be seen from the following paragraph .

... and craft (rattil) al - quran was based similarity and the correct order (tartiilaa) . ( 734 )

Verily We sent down to the word which will be heavy. ( 735 )

Actually woke up at night is more effective and readings at the time was more impressive . ( 736 )

The word " ratil " it usually means " to read it slowly. " Yet another meaning of this word is " arrange things the same or similar . " Thus, in the context of the verses above, means that in studying the al - qur'an , we asked to collect the verses that talk about the same or similar topics and arranged to be read and studied.

Truly your Lord knows that you stand less than two -thirds of the night, or half or a third night and so were a party of the people with you . And God set the size of night and day . God knows that you will not be able to determine the boundaries of those times , then He gives relief to you , so please read what is easy from the al - qur'an ... ( 7320 )

It turned out to read al - quran it was important according to God , despite the easy part of it . When we connect with the 2945 readings it is clear what should we read during prayers , al- qur'an . And obviously also the why 443 to talk about the word that must be understood .

Say " Call upon Allah, or summon the Mighty . By any name you call upon , He has the best names . " And do not harden your voice in shalatmu and be not too humble and seek a middle way between the two was . ( 17110 )

In short, the activities of prayer we should say what we read . But not too high or too low volume. By incorporating all the above paragraph , then we can conclude that prayer is " learning process "that in doing so required an understanding of the materials studied in order to be applied in everyday life . This is at once the same as stating that the reading of al - qur'an only with Arabic without understanding its meaning , no purpose whatsoever and clearly violates the above 443 .

If we now repeat from the beginning , then it is clear why the prayers are done Shoaib can cause him to act as in 1187 . And it is clear why the 2945 states that prayer restrains from shameful and unjust . Because after reading and studying al - qur'an , someone will have the knowledge or understanding of what is right and wrong .

Prayers = Commitment To The Mandate
Now , after we see how the word " prayer " is used in al - quran , we can make a simple conclusion about what was actually praying . Based on the exposure so far, then the prayer includes all the following meaning do not turn away , the bond covenant , and the learning process . These three aspects can we leburkan into one. Previously let us read an interesting paragraph .

Verily We have revealed to the mandate of heaven, earth and the mountains , then everything is reluctant to assume the mandate , and they worried would betray him, and dipikullah mandate it by human beings. Behold, the man was very wrong and very stupid . ( 3372 )

And compare with the following paragraph .

Do you not know that Allah , glorify Him what is in the heavens and the earth and birds with their wings develop . Each one has to know his prayer ( shalaatahu ) and beads , and Allah is Aware of what they do . ( 2441 )

All creatures are scattered between heaven and earth to have an understanding how to perform prayer. It seems that only people who had difficulty . When observed from 3372 , then we can learn that the only man who has a duty from God . Some of the mandate is as shown below.

Say "Come to me to read what is forbidden on you by your Lord , that is Do not ascribe anything with Him , do good to both father and mother , and kill not your children for fear of poverty . We will give sustenance to you and to them ; and do not approach the heinous deeds , both visible and hidden among them , and do not be forbidden by God to kill the soul but with the right thing . " Thus it was ordered by the Lord unto you that ye may understand . ( 6151 )

" And do not approach the orphan's property except to improve it, until he reached his adulthood. And full measure and weight with justice . We do not impose the burden of a person but merely its capacity. And when you say, then ye shall be fair though also he is relative, and fulfill the promise of God . " That God told you that ye may remember . ( 6152 )

And when it is said unto them 'Do not make mischief on earth , "they replied 'We the people who made repairs . " ( 211 )

Indeed, they are the ones who make mischief , but they are not conscious. ( 212 )

In other words , the mandate mentioned in 3372 in essence requires us to not associate God and do not do mischief on earth .

Based on the understanding of this mandate , it can be concluded that prayer is a " commitment to the mandate "or can be shortened as a " commitment "or " bond . " This definition covers all aspects of prayer that has been described above . We do not associate has a duty to God and do mischief in the world. To be able to avoid the destructive act , then we need to get a clue .

Al - book there is no doubt ; guidance for those who fear Allah . ( 22 )

By reading and studying the Qur'an , we will have the knowledge in undertaking it . Mandate that we waistband is closely associated with God din . Prayer is an activity or process that we must do in order to successfully carry out our mandate in question . So when we are held responsible for the mandate , we can be included as an alias of the Right faction who successfully held the mandate imposed .

Commitment is what underlies our actions to not turn away from the teachings contained al - qur'an . This became a basic commitment that we respect any covenant or oath we've ever made. And that this commitment continues to be our motivation for not giving in learning al - qur'an for instructions.

                            Questions Still Being
As usual , after trying to understand al - qur'an about a specific topic , many questions arise . This article does not discuss matters of technical smelled like manner prayer , when, what position, and so forth . Unless God wills other things will be discussed in subsequent articles .

This article is more emphasis on understanding the concept of prayer and purpose of the prayer itself, rather than other things that a technical nature . Because I believe that far more mainstream than to understand the purpose of an activity to implement but not understand the goal and just like a parrot repeating whatever he heard , whether understood or not.

Praise be to Allah, the Lord Protector , Keeper , Keeper of the Worlds.

                              My thoughts are as follows..

Just salat, cause whether you salat X times a day or Y or Z times a day, whenever you miss a salat or did not pray salat righteously, it comes down to that's the amount of faith and wisdom God granted you.

Think about it, whether it is X or Z being the number of times a day, wether we pray those times righteously or not is really up to what God has decreed for us. Some submitters are granted with more righteousness than others. Some even have the amount of granted wisdom to read the salat related verses and contexts to know the correct amount of times.
Others may not have been granted that much wisdom or faith but will still perform their granted amount of righteous salat in their lifetime.
But arguing about the amount of times, when you don't really know, that's dangerous.
