The verb and the cognate adverb which is a verbal noun in the verse are from the same root and denote the same act; and cognate adverb is in genitive case being the second noun of possessive phrase with the word denoting 100, the act is to be done with the second noun and its relation with the first noun shows 100 times-

      peace huruf,

Perhaps you are finding it difficult to extract the information because you have not reviewed the information properly. Let me be concise

Have you studied the Classical Arabic entry for the root and word, and reviewed the occurrences in AQ? They all point to the skin, not deeper. If you disagree, simply cite specifics.

The logical point I brought up initially, about clothing. As far as I'm aware you made no comment about disagreeing with it or bringing evidence to the contrary. Can you please address this issue if you disagree with what I said.

The above requests are simple. Once addressed, perhaps then we can move forward in discussion.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

          Wakas

As a side note, to a certain degree, logic is subjective, however one can reduce the chances of being illogical or using fallacious argument simply by running through what they say through a logic filter, such as this site
          http//www.nizkor.org/features/fallacies/

I don't have to go through this site of fallacies, I was not debating you! I just asked you a simple question considering your experience, that was all, and I think; from your last posts and this post that you are not the right person to ask any question, you are probably best to debate with, that is the only way you may bring out the knowldge you have.

The above are my thoughts they may be wrong, people should not just blindly believe it but verify it for themselves.

But if you allow I would like to have a debate with you on your statement "there is no punishment for consuming alcohol in Al-Quran".

          Wakas

You do not seem to understand the simple point...

Not all people are as intelligent as you are they take time, brother.
This I guarantee you, if you accept the debate I will study that site of fallacies for sure.

This try and I give up.

Do you, Mazhar and Wakas, or anybody who is in the secret that ajlidu refers to the lashing instrument and jalda refers to the person's skin? Is that what you are saying?

As to what I think or what I mean, I am not saying or thinking anything. At this time I am exclusively trying to figure out how you understand this thing.

              Salaam

In a society where there is honor killing and such things, adultery has a very serious consequences. It has that anyways. But 100 lashes is nothing compared to the problems the children face when the family breaks down. 100 lashes is a day or two of pain. Then its gone. But the lasting effect that adultery can cause to a family is much more serious.

Disgusting and inhuman not just to the victim but also dehumanising to all witnesses.
