Surah 75:27

http//OT Regarding the translation of 7157 I completely agree that is a mistranslation of the verse. It elevates the prophet Muhammed in a way numerous verse tell you not to.
This too seems to be the result of the fact that, under the influeence of Jewish culture, Arabic word is frequently translated as "prophet" the primary connotation of which is that one who prohecies and in the dictionaries one who predicts is called "progosticator" the equivalent of which in Arabic is Kahin.
The Root is Noon Ba Waw, meaning elevated.
-
what does he means by "physically follow"? Objection by an hadith monger looks strange?
Apprehension of Ayesha seemshaving emerged from genuine concerns and for reason that perhaps you do not know the meanings of which is made from Root " ". The basic perception infolded in the Root is to practically follow by will, design and affection in such a manner that one moves/walks behind remaining adjacent to the one being followed/pursued so that there is no third in between the follower and the one being followed. "" is calf walking behind his mother. The striking feature, individuality and peculiarity of this Root is the practical and physical aspect of following in action.
The perception and meanings infolded in this Root are distinct and absolutely different from that infolded in the Root " " which is translated by English word "obey" and " " by English word "follow" by most of the writers. This is how both the Roots are inadvertently/incorrectly brought closer and at par, as if they both convey similar meanings. "Obey" means and conveys the perception "to do as told; be controlled by somebody or something" and the word "follow" means "to obey something, act in accordance with something or instructions and directions given by somebody else". It is thus evident that English word "obey" and "follow" are in proximity of synonymous and both refer to an act while Arabic Roots " " and " " are not synonymous and are distinct from each other.
Arabic language is the most scientific language and its Roots enfold all physical/scientific realities and facts relating both to matter and life. A deliberate act of practically and physically following is the result of will/decision and it can take physical execution only by retrieving data, information, instruction, injunction or saying already and previously saved in the memory. A physical act by one's own will and decision/choice reflects and demonstrates his acceptance and liking of the concept and purpose which that act will or is expected to yield.
The basic perception infolded in Root " " is to accept something, word, command, direction, injunction, or saying wholeheartedly and affectionately by will and personal choice without any external pressure/force/fear/compulsion. And " " is the physical demonstration of executing that accepted thing in letter and spirit, exactly in the manner as is told; to follow and move step by step, dot by dot, word by word; move and follow on the footprints of the one being followed. Nothing should intervene including ones own passions, desires and conveniences between the follower and the followed, in which case one will satisfy and implement the perception of the Root, and shall thus be " " the one who acted exactly on what he accepted." " has a theoretical/ideological aspect while " " has practical/physical aspect/ connotation. It means translating/implementing into action what was accepted. This will also show and prove to others the truthfulness of the person that he had accepted that concept/idea/ fact/saying/news/Book truly and wholeheartedly. In sequence/time frame " " is after " " and not conversely.
And physcially following the Messenger , in letter and spirit, is that which he followed and that is Grand Qur'aan and he was asked, and repeatedly pronounced that he follows in letter and spirit the Qur'aan.
And remember we are not asked to "follow Allah" by using this Root " " since it involves physically following on the footprints.
Stop using Arabic with false grammar and false roots of the words, you are making people confuse. you should learn Arabic you first and when I talked about learning Arabic it takes years and years to explain to people the words let alone that you can't give them the meanings of the words. the word here is those who follow, and when we talk about that we mean following is by hearts.
the physicallly follow is "" with " " and it is a verb. so again stop confusing people /you don't know Arabic , stop pretending that you know it.
-

The Root is Noon Ba Waw, meaning elevated.what ? the elevated ? who told you that ? or where did you find it? .
by the way the root is not "Noon Ba Waw" , the root is Noon Ba'a Alef " " .
P.S means prophet, so stop your hallucination.
-
Nothing appears more stupid and retarded behaviour to me when a person claiming to be Arab writes one letter and three consonants of Arabic alphabet in a row and loudly calls it a verb.
hahahah, what a joke rotfl . So I'm wrong despite that the language is my native language and I've took it from birth. ok I'll challenge you, go ask an Arabic about what I wrote and let's see who is Stupid and retarded behaviour me or you(the person who pretend and he don't want to learn).
-
And it means "news" and not prophecy. News is a fact, while prophecy has inbuilt element of doubt and is yet to be verified.
No, the root that I wrote is a verb "" and it means deliver the information or the second meaning is inform or announce. so that's why the word "" means prophet because he is the one who informs people.
the word " " is a name and it means news . look at the difference.
-
you also didnt address the issue of elevating him higher than other prophets.
Did I say this?
One has to accept that the Messengers are Elevated and chosen ones, if one believes in the words of Allah.

If you translated this verse as
"who physically follow that Messenger who is the Chosen and Elevated from amongst those who were not given the Book earlier. That Chosen and Elevated about whom they find mentioned in writing with them in the Tor'aat and the In'jeel"then yes that IS what that is saying to me. It is saying THAT messenger is chosen and elevated and the other books mentioned him, it is elevating Muhammed to be higher than the previous prophets that 'those who were not given the book earlier' already knew about. I am not saying you have done this on purpose, but if that is the English translation then it IS distorting the verse, in English, IMO

sorry my reply box is jumping all over the place!
Your quotes here say the plural, and I agree they were ALL chosen and 'elevated' for that, just that verse implies something else in how it is translated. -

A Messenger is chosen from amongst the people. He belonged to a people who were not given the Book earlier as is stated more than once in the Qur'aan.

A Messenger is chosen from amongst the people. He belonged to a people who were not given the Book earlier as is stated more than once in the Qur'aan.003.023
YUSUFALI Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who have been given a portion of the Book? They are invited to the Book of Allah, to settle their dispute, but a party of them Turn back and decline (The arbitration).
004.044
YUSUFALI Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were given a portion of the Book? they traffic in error, and wish that ye should lose the right path.
004.051
YUSUFALI Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were given a portion of the Book? they believe in sorcery and Evil, and say to the Unbelievers that they are better guided in the (right) way Than the believers!
The verse doesnt say those that were not given the book earlier and these verses show they WERE given a PORTION of the Book. The verse even says he is mentioned in THEIR books. Your translation looks like 'this is the better prophet, better than yours because ours got THE BOOK and yours didnt' to be honest.Your translation also makes no mention of him being unable to read and write, as in 'unlettered' which is in the Arabic although I am aware the entire verse probably wasnt posted, didnt check that sorry. peace

Ayesha you are mixing up "People of Book" with those who were not given the Book before Qur'aan and they are "A Messenger is chosen from amongst the people. He belonged to a people who were not given the Book earlier as is stated more than once in the Qur'aan".
Both are different and distinct entities
http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/003.%20Aale%20Imran/temp09%203.20b.gif
Therefore if they argue/dispute with you, the Messenger then merely tell them, "I and those who physically follow me have made ourselves exclusively subservient for the Code of Conduct prescribed by Allah".
http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/003.%20Aale%20Imran/temp09%203.20.gif
And pronounce for those people whom Book was given earlier and for those whom Book was not given earlier "Do you submit to the Prescribed Code of Conduct?".For complete verse with context
Chapter3No nation as a whole is termed or called as "unlettered", it will be considered as contrary to fact statement, while Qur'aan is Al Haqqo. Comparison is between two nations/peoples; those who were given the Book and those who were not given the Book.

Yes, I am translating it exactly as it has been defined and described quite descriptively in the Grand Qur'aan.
Oh My God!! are you kidding ? the word "" is referring to the infidels of Arabs who they didn't have a book before.
ah by the way where did you find this " " it is not in Quran ? hmm
-

there is a difference between this verse that you stated there in your post and the other one .
God said " "( )" " Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write (i.e. Muhammad م whom they find written with them in the Taur?t (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) "
God said " " "those people whom Book was given earlier and for those whom Book was not given earlier =The Arabs (the infidels of them).

So you think that means "one man who can neither read nor write" and its plural version means "people/many men whom Book was not given earlier".

Yes. because here we're talking about the meaning not the word in the verse, what God wanted to say . the word takes different meaning according to the sentence where we use it.
You didn't answer my question " where did you find this "" " it is not in Quran ? " peace

Step by step....How do you know that Allah wanted you to understand by singular a person who can neither read nor write and when He uses plural of the same word you should understand that He wants you to take it as people whom book was not given earlier.

No, you have a wrong Idea about the verse, if the word came in a masculin singular in the verse, it'll take the same meaning because of its meaning changed according to the senetence where God used it.
for the thousands of times , I said I'm Arab, so It'll be easily to know the difference between this word in this sentence and itself in another sentence. we're talking about the meaning not the word. You alwats talk about the word. They can be the same words but they take different meanings like before where did you did a mistake in "" and "" look at the two words , they are the same, isn't ? but they are totally different / the first means the one who ascends and the second means the one who performs last moment rituals-say prayers. For you it'll be difficult to know who is the one that God wanted to say but for me or for any Arab, it'll be easy to know according to the meaning in the verse.
Edit to Add Answer my question.
