Yes copied from that site verbatim; therefore -- do you follow the recommendation/explicit instruction, i.e. Qur'an and honey?

Now, I'm entirely aware that you people have lack of understanding the Quran and the Hadith .

Both the holy Qur'an and Hadith refer to honey as a healer of disease.

'And thy Lord taught the bee to build its cells in hills, on trees and in (men's) habitations..... there issues from within their bodies a drink of varying colours, wherein is healing for mankind. Verily in this is a Sign for those who give thought'.
    (Translation of Quran 1668-69)

In addition, the Prophet (PBUH) said

'Honey is a remedy for every illness and the Qur'an is a remedy for all illness of the mind, therefore I recommend to you both remedies, the Qur'an and honey.'
    (Bukhari)

The reader may be surprised to learn that the above quotation from the Qur'an is mentioned in a well known encyclopedia on honey (reference 3).

In recent years, scientific support is beginning to emerge confirming the beneficial effects of honey on certain medical and surgical conditions.

is that hard to understand that there a comparision here .

      Explain.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 5, Number 277
      Narrated Abu Huraira
The Prophet said, 'The (people of) Bani Israel used to take bath naked (all together) looking at each other. The Prophet Moses used to take a bath alone. They said, 'By Allah! Nothing prevents Moses from taking a bath with us except that he has a scrotal hernia.' So once Moses went out to take a bath and put his clothes over a stone and then that stone ran away with his clothes. Moses followed that stone saying, "My clothes, O stone! My clothes, O stone! till the people of Bani Israel saw him and said, 'By Allah, Moses has got no defect in his body. Moses took his clothes and began to beat the stone." Abu Huraira added, "By Allah! There are still six or seven marks present on the stone from that excessive beating."

This hadith is the supposed meaning behind this Quranic verse 3369. Is this what you mean when you say the Hadith "explains" the Quran? Why should I believe it when it is clearly a fabrication?

3369 O you who believe, do not be like those who harmed Moses, but then God cleared him of all they said, and he was honorable before God.

God willing I will give you more Sahih Hadith to comment on later.

I asked a simple question which you do not answer and instead make an assumption.

Two things are mentioned, one being Qur'an is a remedy for all illness of the mind -- therefore, do you agree and follow the explicit instruction?

Simple YES or NO -- do you follow the instruction to be a "Qur'an-Honeyist" or not?

I see your misunderstanding and what you don't know that the verse is basically didn't talk about what came in the hadith, in fact Hadith confirmed what came in this verse in a way that I'm going to explain it now

First of all the verse is talking about the believers of who , of the prophet . God telling them to do not hurt their prophet as Bani Isreal did before . So the verse it is not about Moses . It is about the prophet Muhamed peace be upon him.

Second of all the hadith confirmed that what God said about hurting Moses from Bani Israel is right, how they will know these infomation if it wasn't the prophet who told them in some of Ahadith how Bani Isreal hurted the prophet Moses peace be upon him?

So God here in the verse is ordering the believers to not do like bani Isreal and what they have done to the prophet of moses. How do you know what they did to Moses ? look at hadith they were insulting him that he is with a scrotal hernia, so to show them that their hypocrites and scandal their way of treating his prophet, they must see their fallacies about their prophet .

The hadith is not about insulting the prophet Moses, but to show how Isreal were treating their prophet.

Yes, I already followed the instruction of Quran not like you, you're pretending that you are follower of Quran.

O you who believe, do not enter the prophet's homes except if you are invited to a meal, without you forcing such an invitation. But if you are invited, you may enter. And when you finish eating, you shall leave, without staying to wait for hadith. This used to bother the prophet, and he was shy to tell you. But God does not shy away from the truth. And if you ask his wives for something, ask them from behind a barrier. This is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not for you to harm God's messenger, nor that you should marry his wives after him. This is indeed a gross offence with God.

Are you telling me that Moses beat a stone that ran away with his clothes and the rock survived thousands of years and made its way to the Sahabah so that Abu Hurairah could say "By Allah! There are still six or seven marks present on the stone from that excessive beating."?

And you are saying my knowledge of Quran is deficient because I don't believe that the Bani Israel saying Moses has scrotal hernia is the harm mentioned in

3369 O you who believe, do not be like those who harmed Moses, but then God cleared him of all they said, and he was honorable before God.

                    From Sahih Muslim
                    Book 001, Number 0050
It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira We were sitting around the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him). Abu Bakr and Umar were also there among the audience. In the meanwhile the Messenger of Allah got up and left us, He delayed in coming back to us, which caused anxiety that he might be attacked by some enemy when we were not with him; so being alarmed we got up. I was the first to be alarmed. I, therefore, went out to look for the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) and came to a garden belonging to the Banu an-Najjar, a section of the Ansar went round it looking for a gate but failed to find one. Seeing a rabi' (i. e. streamlet) flowing into the garden from a well outside, drew myself together, like a fox, and slinked into (the place) where God's Messenger was. He (the Holy Prophet) said Is it Abu Huraira? I (Abu Huraira) replied Yes, Messenger of Allah. He (the Holy Prophet) said What is the matter with you? replied You were amongst us but got up and went away and delayed for a time, so fearing that you might be attacked by some enemy when we were not with you, we became alarmed. I was the first to be alarmed. So when I came to this garden, I drew myself together as a fox does, and these people are following me. He addressed me as Abu Huraira and gave me his sandals and said Take away these sandals of mine, and when you meet anyone outside this garden who testifies that there is no god but Allah, being assured of it in his heart, gladden him by announcing that he shall go to Paradise. Now the first one I met was Umar. He asked What are these sandals, Abu Huraira? I replied These are the sandals of the Messenger of Allah with which he has sent me to gladden anyone I meet who testifies that there is no god but Allah, being assured of it in his heart, with the announcement that he would go to Paradise. Thereupon 'Umar struck me on the breast and I fell on my back. He then said Go back, Abu Huraira, So I returned to the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him), and was about to break into tears. 'Umar followed me closely and there he was behind me. The Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be on him) said What is the matter with you, Abu Huraira? I said I happened to meet 'Umar and conveyed to him the message with which you sent me. He struck me on my breast which made me fall down upon my back and ordered me to go back. Upon this the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said What prompted you to do this, 'Umar? He said Messenger of Allah, my mother and father be sacrificed to thee, did you send Abu Huraira with your sandals to gladden anyone he met and who testified that there is no god but Allah, and being assured of it in his heart, with the tidings that he would go to Paradise? He said Yes. Umar said Please do it not, for I am afraid that people will trust in it alone; let them go on doing (good) deeds. The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said Well, let them.

Ibn Majah has narrated another hadith from 'Aishah which explicitly says that the two verses were lost after the death of the Prophet. She is reported to say 'The verse of stoning and of suckling an adult ten times were revealed, and they were (written) on a paper and kept under my bed. When the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.) expired and we were preoccupied with his death, a goat entered and ate away the paper.

                        Salam thereformer,

                        How about these stories...

Bukhari Volumn 001, Book 008, Hadith Number 446.

Narated By 'Aisha Barira came to seek my help regarding her manumission. I told herself you like I would pay your price to your masters but your Al-Wala(1) would be for me." Her masters said, "If you like, you can pay what remains (of the price of her manumission), (Sufyan the sub-narrator once said), or if you like you can manumit her, but her (inheritance) Al-Wala would be for us. "When Allah's Apostle came, I spoke to him about it. He said, "Buy her and manumit her. No doubt Al-Wala(1) is for the manumitted." Then Allah's Apostle stood on the pulpit (or Allah's Apostle ascended the pulpit as Sufyan once said), and said, "What about some people who impose conditions which are not present in Allah's Book (Laws)? Whoever imposes conditions which are not in Allah's Book (Laws), his conditions will be invalid even if he imposed them a hundred times."

Bukhari Volumn 003, Book 034, Hadith Number 364.

Narated By 'Aisha Allah's Apostle came to me and I told him about the slave-girl (Buraira) Allah's Apostle said, "Buy and manumit her, for the Wala is for the one who manumits." In the evening the Prophet got up and glorified Allah as He deserved and then said, "Why do some people impose conditions which are not present in Allah's Book (Laws)? Whoever imposes such a condition as is not in Allah's Laws, then that condition is invalid even if he imposes one hundred conditions, for Allah's conditions are more binding and reliable."

Bukhari Volumn 003, Book 034, Hadith Number 377.

Narated By 'Urwa 'Aisha said, "Buraira came to me and said, 'I have agreed with my masters to pay them nine Uqiyas (of gold) (in installments) one Uqiya per year; please help me.' I said, 'I am ready to pay the whole amount now provided your masters agree that your Wala will be for me.' So, Buraira went to her masters and told them about that offer but they refused to accept it. She returned, and at that time, Allah's Apostle was sitting (present). Buraira said, 'I told them of the offer but they did not accept it and insisted on having the Wala.'.' The Prophet heard that." 'Aisha narrated the whole story to the Prophet. He said to her, "Buy her and stipulate that her Wala' would be yours as the Wala' is for the manumitted." 'Aisha did so. Then Allah's Apostle stood up in front of the people, and after glorifying Allah he said, "Amma Badu (i.e. then after)! What about the people who impose conditions which are not in Allah's Book (Laws)? Any condition that is not in Allah's Book (Laws) is invalid even if they were one hundred conditions, for Allah's decisions are the right ones and His conditions are the strong ones (firmer) and the Wala' will be for the manumitted."

Muslim Book 009, Hadith Number 3587.

Chapter The right of inheritance of property vests with one who emancipates the slave.
'Aisha (Allah be pleased with her) reported Barira came to me and said My family (owners) have made contract with me (for granting freedom) for nine 'uqiyas (of silver) payable in nine years, one 'uqiya every year. Help me (in making this payment). I said to her If your family so desires, I am prepared to make them the full payment in one instalment, and thus secure freedom for you, but the right of inheritance will vest in me, if I do so. She (Barira) made a mention of that to her family, but they refused (except) on the condition that the right of inheritance would vest in them. She came to me and made mention of if She ('Aisha) said I scolded her. She (Barira) said By Allah, it is not possible (they will never agree to it). And as she was saying it, Allah's messenger (may peace be upon him) heard, and he asked me, I informed him and he said Buy her and emancipate her, and let the right of inheritance vest in them, for they cannot claim it (rightfully) since the right of inheritance vests with one who emancipates (the slave; therefore, these people have no right to lay such false claims). And I did so. She ('Aisha) said Then Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) delivered a sermon in the evening. He extolled Allah and praised Him with what He deserves, and then said afterwards, What has happened to the people that they lay down conditions which are not found in the Book of Allah? And the condition which is not found in the Book of Allah is invalid, even if its number is one hundred. The Book of Allah is more true (than any other deed) and the condition laid down by Allah is more binding (than any other condition). What has happened to the people among you that someone among you says "Emancipate so and so, but the right of inheritance vests in me"? Verily, the right of inheritance vests in one who emancipates.

Muwatta Book 038, Hadith Number 017.

Section The Right of the One who Sets Free to the Wala'.
Malik related to me from Hisham ibn Urwa from his father that A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Barira came to me and said, 'I have written myself as mukatab for my people for nine uqiyas, one uqiya per year, so help me.' A'isha said, 'If your people agree that I pay it all to them for you, and that if I pay it, your wala' is mine, then I will do it.' Barira went to her masters and told them that and they didn't agree. She came back from her masters while the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was sitting. She said to A'isha, 'I offered that to them and they refused me unless they had the wala.' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, heard that and asked her about it A'isha told him and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'Take her and stipulate that the wala' is yours, for the wala' is for the one who sets free.' So A'isha did that and then the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, stood up in front of the people, and praised Allah and gave thanks to Him. Then he said, 'What is wrong with the people who make conditions which are not in the Book of Allah? Any condition which is not in the Book of Allah is invalid even if it is a hundred conditions. The decree of Allah is truer and the conditions of Allah are firmer, and the wala' only belongs to the one who sets free.'"

Abu Dawud Book 024, Hadith Number 3918.

Chapter Sale of a slave who entered an agreement to purchase his freedom when the agreement is repudiated.
Narated By N/A 'Urwah quoting 'Aisha said that Barirah came to her seeking her help to purchase her freedom, and she did not pay anything for her freedom. 'Aisha said to her Return to your people; if they like that I make payment for the purchase of your freedom on your behalf and I shall have the right to inherit from you, I shall do so. Barirah mentioned it to her people, but they refused and said If she wants to purchase your freedom for a reward from Allah, she may do so, but the right to inherit from you shall be ours. She mentioned it to the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him). The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon. him) said Purchase her (freedom) and set her free, for the right of inheritance belongs only to the one who set a, person free. The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) then stood up and said What is the matter with people who make conditions which are not in Allah's Book ! If anyone makes a condition which is not in Allah's Book, he has no right to it, even if he stipulates it hundreds of times. Allah's condition is more valid and binding."

Sunnis are the people that know the God's word more than any other sects . Try this saying of Omar Ibno Al-Khatab

                            " "

Umar also said 'hasbuna kitab Allah' (enough for us is the book of Allah) - consult the shia about this, they have the incident very well documented to prove Umar rejected the Prophet, hehe.

Differences in opinions and interpretations will always exist. The fundamental aspects of Islam is agreed by majority of Muslims. This new sect that has risen, who call themselves "progressive Muslims" or "Quran-only Muslims" has left Islam the way an arrow misses it's prey. They have rejected the Sunnah of the Holy prophet (pbuh) and claim to know the QUr'an better than others. Such people, as prophecised in my first post above were warned against by the Holy Prophet (pbuh).

The ?fundamentals of Islam? is never even discussed by the majority of the Muslims. Most Muslims are content running their lives under the ulema. Don?t speak in their name.

Quranists are NOT a new sect. You only need to lie to comfort your ego which is obviously unable to deal with us. We?ve been there from the beginning. Our leader was the Prophet himself.

Red sentence is about this ( The prophet (pbuh) said "Beware! I have been given the Quran and something like it, yet the time is coming when a man replete on his couch will say Keep to the Quran; what you find in it to be permissible treat as permissible, and what you find in it to be prohibited treat as prohibited" (Sunnan Abu Dawood Book 40 Hadith 4587)

So, after the Prophet was told to say

46/9 Say "I am no bringer of new-fangled doctrine among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you( . I follow but that which is revealed to me by inspiration

He then made predictions about the future like nostradamous?! This is as bad as the flying donkey story. Btw, that?s what a buraq is, reformer. The Prophet wrote the buraq to heaven to meet Allah.

A question from a person new in Islam "Can I be just a Muslim with no affiliation to all existing sects? "

                              The answer

There is a simple and clear solution given by both Allah (swt) and the Messenger of Allah (pbuh).

Allah (swt) commands us to join together

And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah's favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you That ye may be guided.

It only makes sense therefore that we join hands with the largest group. It doesn't make sense that we break away from the main group and joins hands with smaller sects. Joining together naturally means joining with the largest group.

Look at how this person twists the ayat of Allah. He should be ashamed of himself. The ayah says ?aqtasimoo bi hablillahi jami?a? (hold fast by the rope of Allah together? and this person says this means we join hands with the LARGEST GROUP.

Where is the largest group even mentioned here?!

Allah (swt) commands us not to split up and create sects

"Verily those who split up their religion and became sects, you have absolutely nothing to do with them."

This again NATURALLY means that every smaller sect who claims themselves to be Muslims have nothing to do with Islam. it naturally means that the largest group is the one on the right path, for all others who split away from it are sects on the wrong path. It is also a fact the the largest group is the Ahle-Sunnah-wal-Jama'ah. And these include followers of the four Mujtahid Imams Imam Abu Hanifah, Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal, Imam Shafi'i and Imam Malik (may Allah be pleased with them all).

Naturally? What?s so natural about it? At one point there were over 500 madhabs (consult Prof Mashood Baderin ? Human Rights and Islam) but it was the Abbasids who were trying to gain popular support who supported the Sunnis and allowed them to become the majority (consult The Formative Period of Islamic Thought by WM Watts).

So how do we know who is splitting up from whom?

Well lets first begin with 3/103

3/103 tells us to cling to the rope of Allah and not be divided (wala tafarraqoo)

This phrase ?and do not divide? also appears in 42/13 which tells us to establish ad-deen and ?and not be divided in it? (wala tatafarrqoo fihi). Therefore, the rope of Allah is realised by the establishment of ad-deen.

How is ad-deen realised? By taking Allah as a judge (see 12/40 which links ibada with following the laws of Allah) and taking Allah as a lawmaker is done by accepting his fully explained book (6/114).

6/159 talks about those who split their deen (farraqoo deenahum ? the opposite of 42/13 above). If the deen is fully detailed in the Book,, then splitting the deen must be ignoring parts of the book. These are the people mentioned in 30/31-32 who are happy with their sects.

So reformer, very sorry but it looks like the Quran doesn?t agree with your ?majority? theory. It has a very specific idea about who a sectarian. Anyone who ignores parts of the book and splits up is a sectarian. Much like your abrogation friends.

Btw., not even the traditional scholars, like Ibn Kathir for example, interpret the aya this way.

The verse is not about Moses, it is about the prophet and God was telling the believers to not be like Bani Isreal who harmed Moses .

About the hadith of Abu Horaira , the reason of telling them this hadith is that firstly he wanted to tell them that people should take the shower covering his organs and to differ from the habit of the ennemies of Islam who they take shower naked (Bani Isreal) .
the second reason is to show them how Bani Isreal were hypocrites and harming their prophet and stabed him in the back, having a gossip about their prophet and it was a bad gossip .

so attaching the verse to this hadith is so irrelevent and shows that you don't understand the verse neither the hadith .
