There is no single hadith which details salat. Strange how the 'pillar of islam' was never taught on the massive level so that there is only one version. Prophet said 'pray as u see me pray' yet the Malikis drop their hands and the rest don't (during qiyam). Obviously the people who 'observed' the Prophet praying needed glasses!

noo abu huraira was long dead when Bukhari came along.

Bukhari collected these 'writings' from people living 300 years later. Apparently they were all written while the prophet was still alive and kept secret, they must have been kept secret because the prophet told them not to write anything but Quran, so they had to be kept secret and came out 300 years later. Of course they were all absolutely true and without error (apart from the slight differences in how many women Solomon was sleeping with at a time) as they had a verified chain of narration and each narrator was verified for his truth and honesty and clarity of mind.

Don't be silly, according to a hadeeth narrated by Abu Hurairah, Abu Hurairah went to the Holy Prophet? and asked him for a cure for his short term memory loss (all that ganja, tsk tsk). The Holy Prophet? then uttered a magic spell on him then slapped him with a towel and since then, Abu Hurairah's memory has been impeccable.

that proves even further that his memory was alright after that cure, elhamdulillah!!

He had trouble with numbers, 60, 70, 90, 99, 101, his 'stories' (HADITH) changed each time he told them. Really he was nothing more than a story teller and from some i've read the prophet was a tad fed up with him too. ;D

                                    Volume 1, Book 3, Number 119

                                    Narrated Abu Huraira

I said to Allah's Apostle "I hear many narrations (Hadiths) from you but I forget them." Allah's Apostle said, "Spread your Rida' (garment)." I did accordingly and then he moved his hands as if filling them with something (and emptied them in my Rida&#039 and then said, "Take and wrap this sheet over your body." I did it and after that I never forgot any thing.

Come on, Abu Huraira himself, with his blessed memory is telling you that he went to the prophet who then gave him an impeccable memory!

The prophet SAW cured him for a reason, and that reason is obvious now!
