      Wa Alaykum Assalamu brother,

I haven't experienced being heart broken, but I can't imagine it being much different from this.

1284 And he turned away from them and said "Oh, my sorrow over Joseph." And his eyes turned white from sadness, and he became blind.
1285 They said "By God, you will never cease to remember Joseph until you become senile or become dead!"
1286 He said "I merely complain my grief and sorrow to God, and I know from God what you do not know."
1287 "My sons, go and inquire about Joseph and his brother, and do not despair from the spirit of God. The only ones who would despair from the spirit of God are the people who are rejecters."

Hmm the only story I can think of is when Joseph's adopted mother falls in love with him....

So don't lash out viciously or try to get revenge if you are heart broken. That's all I can remember of heart break in the Quran.

            Peace,
            Respectfully.

At the moment my heart is broken, just like it was before but at the same time i am grateful to God The Most Merciful Who always takes care of me and gives me patience. I believe patience is the key to success. Thank God, AlhamdilAllah, Hvala Bogu.

            God bless you all,
            Peace.

                  Salaam,

You are so lucky that you haven't experienced heart-broken at that age. I am 23 and have experienced so many heartbreaks that I can write a novel about them lol! Then again, have you ever been in love?

Back to the topic, I cannot recall anything about being hear-broken. The closest thing I can think of is surah 58 where a woman came to Prophet Muhammad concerning her being put away by her husband. Nothing else really...

But are we talking about heartbreak due to man-woman love, or heartbreak in general?

                  Salaam.

                    aahh I remember 23 D that was a long time ago -\

Being as old as Adam I have had my fair share of heartbreak, but time heals all wounds. God made a perfect self-healing 'machine' in the human body but heartbreak when you're young - there is no pain like it.

Keep faith, pray, and in time you will be ready for more heartbreak, because I have come to the conclusion it only stops happening when you're dead, either dead of emotion of physically dead, so come to terms with thats how life is, it has ups and it has downs, its balanced, how you deal with it makes you who you are and what doesnt kill you can only make you stronger. group

Salat=Wonderful solution to such issues IMO.
It helps me figure what i need to do to solve a problem and the reverence of God is immensly benefiting to whatever sorrowful/stressful situation I face.

I honestly think that with the right reverence followed by determination to solve this problem by doing the right/best thing which probabely needs some moral attribute such as bravery, compassion, patience and so on your issue will be solved Godwilling.

Uphold Salat effectively and it should bring you out of any state of grief I think.

                                    Good luck

                                      Peace,

The best way for me to deal with heartbreak is to put things into a more tangible perspective. Look at the situation as someone else exercising their right of free will. You may not like the choices they've made, no matter how hurtful that may be. But try to understand that you cannot change a person, you can only change what is within yourself. So, if you feel that you are willing to give the other person a second/third/forth or however many chances that may be, then look at the situation and devise a plan as to how best you will be able to deal with the circumstances. If you can't accept the situation, then leave. Those are your only two options. But never expect the other person to change because people rarely do.

In two years? I had my first broken heart at 17. (Forced into a relationship as well afterwards... but ... I guess the afterwards healed it quick!).
