The HIDDEN Message in the SHADOW

And unto Allah (Alone) falls in prostration whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and so do their SHADOWS in the mornings and in the afternoons. 1315
Have they not observed things that Allah has created, (how) their SHADOWS incline to the right and to the left, making PROSTRATION unto Allah, and they are LOWLY? 1648
And to Allah PROSTRATE all that is in the HEAVENS and all that is in the EARTH, of the live moving CREATURES and the ANGELS, and they are not PROUD 1649
They FEAR their LORD above them, and THEY DO what they are COMMANDED. 1650
It is not THOSE who PROSTRATE PHYSICALLY to Allah willingly ARE LOWLY, not PROUD and FEAR Him and DO what they are COMMANDED.
But it is only THOSE who ARE LOWLY, not PROUD, FEAR Allah, and DO what they are COMMANDED do (PROSTRATE) SUBMIT themselves to Allah willingly.
Those who are not LOWLY, but PROUD, do NOT FEAR ALLAH, and DO not OBEY the COMMANDS of Allah will always PHYSICALLY prostrate like the DISBELIEVERS prostrating before their idols in the temples.
Hast thou not observed thine lord-how He hath stretched out the SHADOW? And if He had willed He would have made it still. Then do We MAKE the SUN its GUIDE. 2545
Then We DRAW it toward Us with an easy drawing. 2546
The shadow was LOWLY, not PROUD, fearful of Allah, DID what it was COMMANDED, therefore Allah made the SUN it's GUIDE, in the same way those who are like SHADOW and SUBMIT unto Allah then Allah draws THEM towards HIMSELF and becomes their GUIDE.
Whomsoever Allah GUIDES, he is the GUIDED one, and whomsoever He sends astray, those! They are the losers. 7178
THE SHADOW PROSTRATED AND ALLAH MADE THE SUN IT'S GUIDE.
WE PHYSICALLY PROSTRATE TO ALLAH 30 TO 40 TIMES A DAY BUT STILL ALLAH IS NOT OUR GUIDE. WHY?

In regards to the shadow, yes it "prostrates". But we are NOT talking about a PHYSICAL PROSTRATION. Shadows appear upright on walls as well as on the ground. Therefore, the "prostration" only means to "HEAR AND OBEY". The shadow follows the LAW perfectly, that is prostration.

Thanks for bringing this up. More research would need to be done to understand.
The sun is not the guide of the Shadow, because there are other sources of light.
and the word used for "guide" would be better translated IMO as "a marker", i.e the sun marks the shadow. -

Qur'aan declared it as an entity by its own right. And tells that it has relationship with electromagnatic radiation; that it is not synonymous with layer of darkness; that shade shadow is not like sunlight heat; it is safe from infra red radiation; prostration aspect is with reference to timings mornings and evenings not all day.Nine years back I had written this study in Urdu. This subject needs further critical study.

There is a 325 pages book named "Seeing dark things-Philosphy of shadows". Google search it is available for download. It will be good if someone reads it and gives a gist.
