Evvery Messenger first introduces to people as being the Messenger of Allah. Later he produces the evidence. First is the person to be believed, if one has doubt, he may ask for evidence.
and how is anyone going to accept someone claiming to be a messenger without giving the message they are to be messenger of?

Musa and Haroon alaimissalm visit Firaun and his elite and introduce themselves as Messengers of Allah without producing any book or unprecedented sign. And when he did not accept them as Messenger of Sustainer Lord of the worlds and threatened to be jailed, response was that will you not believe even I produce the signs.

And please go through the entire Qur'aan, all Messengers first introduced themselves as Messengers of Allah and asked them to believe solely in Allah "and follow me".
but there is nothing in Quran until chapter 7 where Muhammed states he is the messenger, you are working on assumptions. The first words were 'read/recite', not 'I am the messenger of Allah'

From where you got red marked observation? He was the first to believe and accept what was revealed to him.

Didnt he have to be told by his wifes cousin? he thought he was crazy THEN he believed. he didnt tell anyone else for a while. He of course was the first to believe in the message as he was the one getting it but he couldnt believe without the words given him could he? he didnt wake up one day believing he was the messenger of Allah and THEN get the message, the words came first, belief in the Message came before belief in the messenger, no message no messenger.

          Peace Mazhar,

I want to attract your attention to the fact that Mosa was raised by the wife of Pharao, so Pharao used to know Mosa before this one announces that his is a messenger, he was not a foreigner.

Messengers don?t just fall down from the sky, they are raised in communities and are sent to their own people, to educate them and to make them aware of the consequences of their actions, either good or bad.

Generally, people see messengers as some super-humans although nothing from the quran suggests this. To the contrary, the quran says that they were only humans like us. They were surely wise and altruistic humans, they chose to spread the knowledge they have received among the people to help them, not to keep it and abuse their ignorance.

Yes! that is what I also noticed and have pointed out to various, forum members, it all starts by uneasiness mantion of Prophet Muhammad peace is upon him. Well said.

Muhammed aka Ahmed as all messengers were pointing to the message so we don't miss The God. It looks like you and Mazahar are concentrating on the finger too much and missing all that heavenly glory (The God).

Mazhar you are missing the point. Quran tells you these previous prophets declared they were messengers but not without giving the message, they also said much more than Quran tells you, its a reminder so its not going over everything again, just reminding. These prophets were delivering a message from God but its the message that one has to believe. If one believes the message then is stands to reason they believe the messenger bringing it. if the postman comes to your house and says he is the postman you want him to give you post, hes not a postman to you until he does and its the post thats relevant not the postman. The belief is for the message first, without that belief then you cannot believe in the messenger.

Dont make the same mistake you are warned about in Quran in how the Christians raised one prophet higher to the point of being God. It says clearly Muhammed is no more than a messenger and he said the same as all prophets did, worship GOD alone.

This is the virus that creates the disease leading one to become a Munafiq. Munafiq feel uncomfort whenever any thing authentic about the Messenger he listens.

                      Dear Mazhar,

Your logic is exactly the opposite of what The Qur'aan says. According to The Qur'aan a munafig is the one who verbally testifies that Muhammad is the messenger of GOD/ALLAAH(SWT). Just see 631 for clarification.

                      Peace,
                      Khalil

Many forget what the real Message is all about. many think Quran has rules/rituals to follow.
All rules/rituals are created by man with his free will, God in Quran authorizes some rituals what Mohammed and people at his time followed, if they benefits the society and forbids some for some specific reasons, so rituals are meant to be changed for the benefit of society. Quran didnt invent anything as God doesnt have any NEED except HE expects a peacefull society.

I don't indulge in presumptive speculations. What is told is in simple words. Musa alalhissalam told him that he is the Messenger of Allah and gave him the message that let the Bani Israel go with me. And then all history is told. And for the blindness of those who equate the Messenger to a postman, Musa alahissalam got the Book after many events had passed after exodus. People believed in him as Messenger of Allah.

Belief in Allah alone will never take anybody into Paradise. Belief and acceptance of Allah and His Messengers is the precondition for paradise. The litmus test of Taqwa is who honours, respects and revers the Last Messenger. Rest is all self deception, which may get everything spoiled leading straight to hell, as says the Qur'aan.

God spoke to Moses before the exodus, God told Moses to tell the people and Moses knew they wouldnt believe him so God gave him words to say and miracles to show them to make them believe him, see burning bush, staff into snake, leprous hand, etc. That is before the 10 commandments but people had to SEE the the proof before they believed.

As for the blindness of equating Muhammed to a postman there are numerous verses telling you his only job was to deliver the message.

Belief in Allah alone will never take anybody into Paradise. Belief and acceptance of Allah and His Messengers is the precondition for paradise. The litmus test of Taqwa is who honours, respects and revers the Last Messenger.

That is opposite to what Quran is telling us and opposite to what every prophet and messenger has told us, but as before the people change and need to rever a human person. Christians say the very same about Jesus.

Rest is all self deception, which may get everything spoiled leading straight to hell, as says the Qur'aan.

Other than Worshipping Allah Alone and Glorifying HIM Alone gets you straight to hell

If God wanted us to do azaan a certain way, surely He would've specified. But clearly God did not.

How you want to call people to prayer, that's up to you. Now, if find something that you have been doing bothersome then the question is if it is coming from God or if it is coming from satan.

The most used sentence by so called Quranists "do as you wish"?
Does that full fill the concept of Ummah? you are trying to bring up a society that is scattered, all moving towards his own way.

What is the meaning of Azaan?
Invitation, therefore when you invite some one it must be in polite and humble way, and it becomes more important when you call some one to the duty assigned by Allah,
So your claim "that's up to you" is absurd.
It is a common practice among all the Muslim countries, from the earliest recorded history of Islam, with few differences of word?
Regarding the claim of Including of word Muhammad in it, we have to know what was original Azaan? and I have asked the question but no one has replied to it.

some one even claimed that will Muhammad include his own name in the Azaan? What about when he read or recited the Quran, which was intially adressed to him, did it make any sense then?

the ummah IS scattered through sects, uniting a call to prayer is not going to solve that.

you didnt understand what he said in the context he said it. What WORDS are used is irrelevant and it has been said by someone else that 'let us pray' could also be used. There is nothing in Quran telling you HOW to call to prayer or what WORDS to use to INVITE to prayer.

Regarding the claim of Including of word Muhammad in it, we have to know what was original Azaan? and I have asked the question but no one has replied to it.
because there is no record of it IN Quran but lets say Muhammed called the original prayer, he would have called to GOD ALONE and not added his own name to that. You are being called to worship GOD, not to Muhammed and not to worship Muhammed and not to testify anything to do with Muhammed. Its mentioned as 'call to prayer' and prayer is for God Alone.

some one even claimed that will Muhammad include his own name in the Azaan? What about when he read or recited the Quran, which was intially adressed to him, did it make any sense then?

yes because he was RECITING what GOD told him to. The words are GOD'S words, not Muhammed's. He did not include his own name in Azhan as this is a call to GOD.

Are you speaker for all those people I quoted?

the ummah IS scattered through sects, uniting a call to prayer is not going to solve that.

So we shall cotinue that way, further scattering them.
oh! people of the scripture Let us come to the common terms.....

you didnt understand what he said in the context he said it.

So you are posting by different nicks?

How come to say "Muhammad is Rasul of Allah" equivalent to worship Muhammad? come on voodoo

Azaan was developed by the consultation of many and not by Muhammad peace is upon him alone, for your kind information.
