    House Muslims and Field Muslims

?Back during slavery, there were two kinds of slaves the house Negro and the field Negro. The house Negroes, they lived in the house with master. They dressed pretty good, they ate good because they ate his food - what he left. They lived in the attic or the basement, but still they lived near the master. And they loved the master, more than the master loved himself. They would give their life to save the master's house - quicker than the master would. If the master said, ?We got a good house here?, the house Negro would say, ?Yeah, we got a good house here.? Whenever the master said ?we?, he said ?we?.

That's how you can tell a house Negro.

?If the master's house caught on fire, the house Negro would fight harder to put the blaze out than the master would. If the master got sick, the house Negro would say, ?What's the matter, boss, we sick?? We sick! He identified himself with his master, more than his master identified with himself. And if you came to the house Negro and said, ?Let's run away, let's escape, let's separate?, the house Negro would look at you and say, ?Man, you crazy. What you mean, separate? Where is there a better house than this? Where can I wear better clothes than this? Where can I eat better food than this?? That was that house Negro. In those days he was called a ?house nigger?. And that's what we call them today, because we've still got some house niggers running around here.

?This modern house Negro loves his master. He wants to live near him. He'll pay three times as much as the house is worth just to live near his master, and then brag about ?I'm the only Negro out here.? ?I'm the only one on my job.? ?I'm the only one in this school.? You're nothing but a house Negro. And if someone comes to you right now and says, ?Let's separate?, you say the same thing that the house Negro said on the plantation ?What you mean, separate? From America, this good White land? Where you going to get a better job than you get here?? I mean, this is what you say. ?I ain't left nothing in Africa?, that's what you say. Why, you left your mind in Africa.?

From ?House Negro? to ?House Muslim?

During the so-called ?Civil Rights? era of the 1960s, Malcolm X argued that one of the ways in which a so-called ?Negro? could be identified as a ?house Negro? was through the way he or she used language, for example, by referring to the American government as ?our government? as opposed to ?the government?.

Similarly, in the contemporary era of so-called ?Human Rights?, and under conditions of Racism (White Supremacy), it is possible to distinguish between ?house Muslims? and ?field Muslims?. Briefly, the former term refers to any so-called ?Muslim? who willingly submits to this system and is thereby granted ?status? and/or ?influence? among other Muslim victims of this system by the White Supremacists (Racists). By contrast, the latter term refers to any Muslim who submits to the system of White Supremacy (Racism) unwillingly and is committed to replacing it with a system based on justice in which no person is mistreated and the person who needs help the most gets the most help.

    Integration and Differentiation

As with the ?house Negro?, one of the ways in which ?house Muslims? can be identified is through their use of language. For example, many so-called ?leaders? of so-called ?Muslim organisations? in the UK who claim to represent the Muslim community regularly refer to the British government as ?our government? rather than ?the government?, indicating, thereby, that they self-identify with it. In addition, and relatively recently, there has been what can only be described as a concerted effort made by such organisations, as well as by certain academics and commentators within the so-called ?Muslim community?, to encourage the use of terms such as ?British Muslim?, ?European Muslim?, ?American Muslim?, ?Western Muslim? etc. The objective is two-fold On the one hand, to further the process of Muslim integration into ?wider society? by cultivating a sense of ?belonging? and fostering ?inclusion? within the nation and citizenry in order to overcome feelings of ?estrangement? and perceived ?marginalisation?; on the other hand, to promote a sense of difference from ?the rest? of the transnational ? or rather, a-national - ?Muslim community? (or Ummah) ?We?re British Muslims, not Pakistani Muslims or Arab Muslims.?

    Integration and Identity

One of the principal motivating factors behind the push for integration is neutralisation of ?radical?, potentially violent, tendencies, particularly among ?an alienated and disaffected Muslim youth?. However, under global conditions of Racism (White Supremacy), Muslims, like all other victims of this system, are already fully integrated and ?included?, and they already ?belong? since, like the slaves on the plantations during the Trans-Atlantic slave trade, they are an integral part of this system.

Furthermore, under conditions of White Supremacy (Racism), differentiating oneself from other Muslims by prefixing one?s use of the term ?Muslim? with the qualifier ?British?, ?European?, ?American?, ?Western? etc, is a political act indicating a willingness to integrate into, and thereby, self-identify with this system. If the world was a level playing field, describing oneself as a ?British Muslim? (or any of the other variants) would be a ?politically-innocent? act. However, under conditions of Racism (White Supremacy), its use by a so-called ?Muslim? marks that individual as a ?house Muslim?.

    Questioning Identity

The standard view in the social sciences is that ?identity? is something that is complex, multifaceted and socially-constructed. For example, one might describe a person?s identity in terms of their gender, ethnicity, nationality and religion. However, is it necessarily the case that all identities are socially-constructed? Could there be a kind of identity that is given rather than man-made? Furthermore, are all the facets that constitute an identity, or all kinds of identity, of equal significance in all contexts, or are some privileged relative to others?

    Islamic Identity

The Qur?an recognises the existence of human diversity with respect to a variety of markers such as language and colour (3022) (352, genealogy and tribal grouping (4913), sex and gender (43) (4913), belief and/or ?ideology? (11118-119) etc. On this basis, it might be argued that The Qur?an appears to lend supports to the thesis of the social sciences regarding the multifaceted nature of human identity. However, it is crucial to appreciate that The Qur?an locates the source of these differences in the Will of God/Allah, rather than in an independent process of social-construction. In addition, such differences are not held to have value in and of themselves; as with all ?phenomena? on the ?horizons? and in the ?self? (4153), such markers function as signs (ayaat) of God/Allah. Furthermore, according to The Qur?an, these aspects of human identity are of secondary importance when compared with the primacy of the spiritual-political identity of human beings as the servants or slaves (?ibaad) of God/Allah (5156), a status that is God-given as opposed to man-made.

    The Politics of Naming

Naming (classification, categorisation) is a political act, that is, something which establishes relations of power (dominance and subjugation). In The Qur?an, God/Allah has explicitly stated that He has named (that is, classified or categorised) those who surrender or submit themselves to Him as ?Muslims? (227. No qualifier is used and there is no indication that one is/was intended. The link between naming and power relations arises from the fact that The Qur?an names ?Al-Islam? (The Self-Surrender/Submission) as the DEEN (that is, power-relation and/or life-transaction) acceptable to God/Allah. Linguistically, the word DEEN carries the following four connotations (1) domination, (2) subjugation, (3) code of practice, and (4) recompense or requital.

When The Creator has already named (or classified) His creation, what right does the latter have to re-name/re-classify/re-categorise itself? This issue becomes all the more significant once it is recognised that The Qur?an mandates that believers have no option but to accept those matters that have been decided by God/Allah and His Messenger (3336). Clearly, the giving of a name (classification or categorisation) is an example of such a matter. God/Allah did not refer to those who surrender or submit themselves to Him as Sunni Muslims, Shi?a Muslims, Progressive Muslims, Traditional Muslims, Moderate Muslims, Radical Muslims, Fundamentalist Muslims, Secular Muslims, Sufi Muslims, Modern Muslims, Postmodern Muslims or by any other name. Furthermore, and even more problematically under conditions of global White Supremacy (Racism) it is important to note that God/Allah did not refer to them as ?Eastern Muslims?, ?Western Muslims?, ?European Muslims? or ?British Muslims? (or even as ?Black Muslims?, as the White American press labelled ? that is, classified - members of the so-called Nation of Islam (NOI)).

But if the above names (classifications, categories) are invalid, then what justification is there for using the terms ?house Muslim? and ?field Muslim?? The short answer to this question is that, just as Malcolm X made use of the terms ?house Negro? and ?field Negro? to shed light on a confused situation, so too the terms ?house Muslim? (and ?field Muslim?) can be used to effect some measure of clarification. At the very least, they can be used to counter the production and propagation of a compliant White Supremacist (Racist) ?Islam?.

    ?House Muslims? and ?Field Muslims?

During slavery, the ?house Negro? belonged to the house of the white slave-owner. The ?house Muslim? of today also belongs to the house of the white slave-owner, although this ?house? is not a concrete building, but rather a political structure, a globally operating system of power relations based on colour and/or factors associated with colour White Supremacy (Racism), the dominant global system of man-made supremacy in the contemporary world.

Interestingly, The Qur?an makes explicit mention of the house (bayt) of Pharaoh and states that Pharaoh divided the Children of Israel into different classes/castes, elevating one class/caste ? what might be referred to as ?house Slaves? ? and subjugating the other ? what might be referred to as ?field Slaves? (284). What happened in Ancient Egypt (Misr), what happened in America on the plantations, and what is happening today are all instances of the same phenomenon enslavement of one group of human beings by another group of human beings. It is crucial to understand this because those who today champion the calls for ?democracy? and ?freedom? are really advocating the forced enslavement of human beings to human beings. The Qur?an invites human beings to willingly enslave themselves to The One to Whom alone servitude is due God/Allah. In this way, the ?field Muslim?, that is, the Muslim who rejects White Supremacy (Racism) and commits himself or herself to replacing this unjust system with a just system for all (black, brown, red, yellow, and white) based on obedience to God/Allah ? Al-Islam ? enters the ?house? (bayt) of God/Allah wherein one is safe and secure.

Yet the physically and mentally enslaved (or colonised) ?house Muslim?, like the ?house Negro? before him, is incapable of imagining the possibility of a world other than the world of White Supremacy (Racism). This leads him to ?play it safe?, keep his head down, and scramble for whatever he can lay his hands on within the dominant system (?Where is there a better house than this? Where can I wear better clothes than this? Where can I eat better food than this? Where you going to get a better job than you get here??). For this reason, the ?house Muslim? willingly supports calls for ?integration? into ?wider society?, even though under conditions of White Supremacy (Racism), ?integration? means nothing other than ?assimilation?, that is, absorption or incorporation, into a system of oppression. Calls for ?separation? (?Let's run away, let's escape, let's separate?) are re-interpreted by the ?house Muslim? as calls for ?segregation? (with all the attendant apartheid overtones), although The Qur?an categorically states that the DEEN (that is, system of power relations) of those who believe in God/Allah and willingly enslave themselves to Him, is distinct from the DEEN of those who reject God/Allah and enslave themselves to other than Him (1091-6). Thus, the ?house Muslim? resorts to ?sophisticated? (that is, deceitful) ?language-games? in order to hide his or her subjugation to White Supremacy (Racism) and in this way, ends up, willingly or unwillingly, perpetuating the conditions of his or her own slavery, thereby blocking the route to true freedom.

Excerpt from a transcript of the speech ?Message to the Grassroots? given by Al-Hajj Malik Al-Shabazz (Malcolm X) in Harlem, NY on November 10, 1963.

The victims of White Supremacy (Racism) are all non-white people including non-white people who are Muslims and/or those who claim to be Muslims, irrespective of whether they submit to this system willingly or unwillingly.

The NOI did not refer to themselves using this term.

Linguistically speaking, a ?Muslim? is anyone who submits or surrenders to something ? and that does not have to be to God/Allah. Thus, one can be a Muslim to/for White Supremacy (Racism) and, given the current global socio-political situation, this is what is meant by a ?house Muslim?.

          What does The Qur'an say?
That is my starting question with most debates regarding this issue.
May God gudie us all and help us.

                  I am neither...

Dude.. wakeup...... the so-called "White Supremacist" are long gone!

The "White" doesn't dominate the world..
But nevertheless.. if we really want to think on 'who dominate the world today' it is most certainly THE YELLOWS !

Specifically "THE CHINESE".. and they dominate the world for all of the good reasons.
                  This due to they are

                  1. Wise
                  2. Smart
                  3. Hardworkers

3 qualities which seems to be desperately missing among middle-easterns folks (Jews / Arabs whatever) today.
It is certainly undeniable that China "owned nearly every one asses today" yes including the good ol' USA!

It is perfectly understandable for UK citizens (no matter what sect they belongs to) to refer to their own government as "Our Government" and or their country as "Our country".. Why because IT IS THEIR GOVERNMENT AND COUNTRY!
As it is also perfectly understandable for China citizens (no matter what sect they belongs to) to refer to their own government as "Our Government" and or their country as "Our country".. Why because IT IS THEIR GOVERNMENT AND COUNTRY!

                  Salam / Peace

                      Quoting from

COMMENT The Wolf, The Shepherd and The Sheep

Peace Be Unto Those Who Follow Right Guidance.

I have been meaning to draw the plight of Dr Aafia Siddiqui to the attention of readers of this blog for some time. Perhaps the time is now 'right' .

According to the entry in Wikipedia, Aafia Siddiqui (born March 2, 1972, in Karachi, Pakistan) is an American-educated Pakistani cognitive neuroscientist who has been convicted after a jury trial in a U.S. federal court, of assault with intent to murder her U.S. interrogators in Afghanistan. The charges carried a maximum sentence of life in prison, and on September 23, 2010, she was sentenced to 86 years in prison. (For further information, check out the Justice for Aafia Coalition (JFAC) website.)

From an Islamic counter-Racist, perspective, it is important to point out that, in addition to the above, Aafia Siddiqui is also an attempted Muslim, a non-white female, and a VoR (Victim of Racism/White Supremacy). Furthermore, these facts are more significant given the contemporary global operating system of White Supremacy (Racism).

Following her conviction in the US yesterday, JFAC immediately released a statement, an extract of which I reproduce below

"While we are disappointed by Judge Berman's decision, we condemn in the strongest terms the stance of the Pakistani government towards this beloved daughter of the nation. While we must never look to the wolf for protection, we expect the shepherd to care for his flock. The Pakistani government has from the outset been complicit in Aafia's disappearance and detention, and has displayed nothing but contempt for its people and dignity through its cowardly stance in requesting her repatriation" .

It is interesting to note invocation of the figure of the 'wolf' in the above article since this reminds me of a speech delivered in 1963 by the late Malik Al-Shabazz (Malcolm X) entitled "The Black Revolution", the relevant extract of which I reproduce here

"How can the so-called Negroes who call themselves enlightened leaders expect the poor Black sheep to integrate into a society of bloodthirsty White wolves, White wolves who have already been sucking on our blood for over four hundred years here in America? Or will these Black sheep also revolt against the "false shepherd", the handpicked Uncle Tom Negro leader, and seek complete separation so that we can escape from the den of the wolves rather than be integrated with wolves in this wolves' den?"

I think Malcolm X is on to something here. Despite the local and historical context within which he delivered these statements, from an Islamic counter-Racist perspective, they remain valid in the contemporary context, both local and global.

The Pakistani 'government' - and there can be NO REAL government other than that of the globally operating system of Racism (White Supremacy) which, to borrow a phrase from seminal Rap/spoken-word artists, The Last Poets, is the "govern-u-men" - is a 'government' of VoRs and by VoRs but for WS/R. Hence, it is a "false shepherd", an Uncle Tom/Tamim (mis)leader. However, as a 'government' of VoRs, it is also a sheep, a lamb for the slaughter.

JFAC, like many if not all 'organisations' that claim to stand for justice, is confused about the nature of POWER, WHO/WHAT wields it and HOW. (As seminal counter-Racist thinker, Neely Fuller Jr. states, "If you do not understand White Supremacy (Racism) - what it is, and how it works - everything else you understand will only confuse you.&quot This is evident from their asserting "we expect the shepherd to care for his flock". Let us examine this statement from an Islamic counter-Racist perspective.

Firstly, the Pakistani 'government' is not ABLE to care for its 'flock', irrespective of whether it is WILLING to do so. No non-white people have the ABILITY to care for their 'own' people.

Secondly, the Pakistani people are NOT the Pakistani 'government's' 'flock' As VoRs, the non-white people of Pakistan BELONG to the Racists (White Supremacists) - at least insofar as they exist socio-materially in the present world. No non-white 'government' has its 'own' people since no non-white 'government' can OWN anything under contemporary global conditions of Racism (White Supremacy).

Thirdly, it is incorrect for non-white VoRs which, presumably, make up at least some of the 'membership' of JFAC to expect anything of/from other non-white VoRs - in this case, the Pakistani 'government'. To do so, is, intentionally or otherwise, to assume that POWER - willingness and ability - reside where it does not. This leads to confusion and misunderstanding which prevents the revelation of Truth and the establishment of Justice.

I should make it clear that I am NOT writing this to undermine what are, IMHO, the misguided efforts of JFAC (and others) to help (other) VoRs, but to remind myself and others that it is necessary to ensure that when the arrow flies from the bow, it is aimed at the right target.

                      Peace

Just like the master's house belonged to the house negro?

                        WRONG...
Just like the house belong to its inhabitants...
Each of the inhabitants pay some money which is a portion of their income to the housekeepers.
In order for the housekeepers to maintain the house and it's sorrounding lawn.
The inhabitants are free to believe whatever they wanted.
And the inhabitants will try to maintain JUSTICE and ORDER within the house through house rules.
Which is decided through discussion and agreement among the inhabitants and more often majority of the inhabitants.
If any of the inhabitants doing some action which try to ruin the JUSTICE and ORDER within the house, then the inhabitants is subject to punishment as set out by the rules and enforced by the housekeepers.
And the inhabitants had a FULL RIGHT TO LEAVE THE HOUSE, if they don't like to be in the house.

Fahad are you a member of Hizbut Thahrir organization? As your propaganda is typical to theirs..

                          Salaam Jafar,

your post starts with a correct title,'wrong', I agree with that, everything you say is truly wrong, at so many levels your thinking is wrong. I can understand why your thinking is so wrong, the establishment has worked very hard to establish sovereign thought within the minds of the general population.

They think of themselves as sheep needing a shepherd, when the only choices available, for a shepherd, is another sheep or a wolf, so no choice at all, the Qur'an states 'Allah is the 'ONLY' sovereign', but no one wishes to be responsible for themselves when they think through subjugation.

They view themselves in separation, when the Qur'an states stand together in unity, they divide at every opportunity, they label themselves black, white, yellow, red, African, European, Asian, Arabian, English, American, South African, Muslim, Christian, Jew, Hindu, working class, middle class, upper class, the list of division is endless.

The sovereigns control through division, when the Qur'an demands unity, a single humanity on a single planet working together without the exploitation of Riba, 'the theft of the fruits of anothers labour'.

The sovereigns horde the wealth of Allah gifted to all humanity to sustain each person easily, they buy and sell the property of Allah as if it were theirs, when it is not.

They manufacture legislation as a fiction upon common law, to impose fictions of rights upon criminal acts, frauds, monopolies, mass exterminations, etc.

Democracy is an appalling system to suffer under, only surpassed by the even worse system of Zionist communism, common law demands a single humanity, as no state, corporation, monarchy or legislation is lawful, and common law underpins all law.

As they say a good slave fools themselves into thinking their slavery is a good thing, or even worse they do not think they are slaves.

                            Salaam Jafar,

Who are "THEY" in your references.. be more specific! As situation in every nation or even state/provinces is different.
The Wahabbi Saudi Arabs are indeed a flock of sheep which being herded by a blind shepherd..

God does divides humanity with a reason to do CHECK AND BALANCE.
As He know very well that homo sapiens had 50-50 chances of doing good and bad.
When one group of people goes 'awry' there always be another group of people that shall 'correct' and 'neutralize' them..
                            That's how God's system works...

                            Salam / Peace

                              Salaam Jafar,

they, meaning persons acting as sovereigns upon others, many sub sovereigns exist below every sovereign, and those who love their sovereigns subjugate those around them to conform.

The God concept is a lie of religions, having nothing to do with the concept of Allah beyond the single commonality of being a creator concept, but Allah has not divided the thought upon your neighbour, you may be a black African for example, others believe themselves more valuable, intelligent, trustworthy even in extreme cases they may view themselves as a higher order of life, as the Jews believe they are over all other groups, they divide us all and judge themselves superior.

It is not a check and balance to have division, diversity is not the same as division, we are diverse just as the universe is diverse, but the universe works in harmony, unlike subjugated humanity.

We are on the very brink of utter destruction because of the Roman Catholic model now dominant around the world, of sovereign thought, were are your checks and balances?

You should read the four societal models posted on another thread on free-minds or on my website if you wish to consider a sovereign free Islamic perspective of society.

                                  WRONG...
Just like the house belong to its inhabitants...

The house negro IS an inhabitant. The house does not belong to him.

Each of the inhabitants pay some money which is a portion of their income to the housekeepers.
In order for the housekeepers to maintain the house and it's sorrounding lawn.

That does not make the house belong to the inhabitants. The Quran tells us that Bani Israeel contributed to Misr/Egypt. But Misr belonged to the masters.

The inhabitants are free to believe whatever they wanted.

Bani Israeel under Firaun were also free to believe whatever they wanted.

And the inhabitants will try to maintain JUSTICE and ORDER within the house through house rules.

There is no JUSTICE to maintain where ORDER is created out of CHAOS. What they can do is EITHER MAINTAIN and REFINE the system of INJUSTICE, OR strive to SUBVERT the system of INJUSTICE and REPLACE it with the system of JUSTICE based on The Quran.

Fahad are you a member of Hizbut Thahrir organization?

                                  No I?m not.

                                    I am neither...

Dude.. wakeup...... the so-called "White Supremacist" are long gone!

The "White" doesn't dominate the world..
But nevertheless.. if we really want to think on 'who dominate the world today' it is most certainly THE YELLOWS !...

                                    Peace,

In my opinion, nothing could be further from the truth brother Jafar.
It still is a white mans world. The "yellows" you speak of resort to double eyelid surgery. This is a serious issue affecting the asian community. Blacks with the hair weaves and perms. South Asians with the skin bleaching, a billion dollar industry. Let's not forget steering away from cultural "ethnic names" so children can be named Scott, Tiffany, Jennifer, and Jason. It is about more than just the colour of ones skin, it is a system that is in place.

I have love for all, regardless of colour...however, this is the sad reality of our world.

True. Check out this documentary film

                                      The Modern Racist Paradigm

                                      MUST WATCH.

                                      Quote from the film

"Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but WHO IS THE BEHOLDER? Despite the ever-changing cultural, ethnic, and racial landscape of the United States, the beholder is, and historically always has been, the White male."

                                      DESCRIPTION

This is a well researched documentary that exposes the ?White? Media?s long-term agenda to standardize Caucasian people as the ?social norm? for general society.

Through the globalization and centralization of the ?White? media and its constant propagation of repetitive images depicting Caucasians in positive roles and as protagonists while usually depicting Non-Caucasians as background characters and antagonists ? which are often connected to negative themes and stereotypes ? the media elite have been able to effectively condition general society into subconsciously adhering to a racist social hierarchy in which Caucasian people are at the very apex.

The documentary addresses many modern-day internalized racist psychological dispositions (subconscious forms of internalized racism) which are unknowingly passed down from generation to generation due to the globalization and pervasiveness of ?Whiteness? a cultural assimilation process of which, is directly derivative to historical European expansionism, colonialism, and imperialism.
