Hi Yesuri, how are you going? Peace brother! I have sincierly enjoyed reading your story. It is very good to see shia and suni coming together and getting united by the Koran alone. I would however recomend The message(Quran) from the monotheist group. I personaly don't want to read from the standard Quran any more. I am actualy thinking of ordering another copy of it and I am happy to say that I orderd the natural republic, I can't wait to read it.

God wiling we wil one day have our mosks were we can go I hope only a couple of times per day again hopefuly wenever in the morning and at evening we can go and pray.

I am curently not praying but am planing on doing it couple of times a day in a diferent way than the traditionalist. I don't see a point in being overly repetitive.

Anyway I hope your faith gains from being a member of the forum!

      Thanks

        Hi Pel

        Peace to all here.

Are you talking about the reformist version? I have a copy of that but have not had a chance to read it yet. I previously brought a copy of the translation made by Abdel Haleem. I have actually found that to be one of the best translations I have read.

It would be nice to have our own mosque for submitters in the future. Im not sure that will happen any time soon but one day inshallah.

Like you I am not really praying at the moment. I don't know if it's just laziness or I just need a push into the right direction. I used to try and pray five times a day but gave up on that a long time ago now.

@loxbox. The shias combine the prayers. So they pray 3 times a day. Fajr by it self Zuhr and Asr together one after the other and then mughrib and isha one after the other too. The shia hadiths state that this is a practice of the prophet which is why they do this. People used to ask me about the difference between sunni and shia and I told them its political. I dont think they could understand why muslims had different groups who did not get along. I couldn't understand it either and used to try and tell people that Shias and sunnis should ignore their differences. However I now realise that both are in the wrong with their insistence of following hadiths.

Ive looked into other faiths not to practice those but just to see what they are about. However my heart just wont leave Islam and always comes back to it. I know Im not perfect but all I can do is try.

        Peace.

Oh, it would be lovely to be able to go to a mosque and feel comfortable. InshAllah one day.

Interesting that Shia combine prayers to make the number it mentions in Quran. Well, I know this is debatable too, but I got 3 with my limited knowledge, though this might change as gain more knowledge on the subject. ;D

It doesn't surprise me that you return to Islam. If you feel it's the truth then how can you leave. But it's great to find out about other religions. Why not? I notice some people I know are only interested in knowing enough so that they can write them off as wrong. It really seems as though they want to see the things they disagree with to help strengthen their faith - but if you have genuine trust in God and that Islam is right way you don't need to fear other religions. You don't need to pick apart others in such a negative way in order to strengthen your faith.

Is these mean that mosques today are not good?

InshAllah I understand your question correctly Stone. I assume he means because of praying differently and because we have different beliefs so firstly it makes it a bit strange to take part in some groups, classes and to hear talks. Also, when you discuss your beliefs it can bring up problems - when you lose faith in hadith many Muslims do not like this at all.

So that was my understanding but it was based on the fact that this has been my experience so far.

                I understand...
In general, is it blasfemy participate in group where in prayer they mention Muhameds name?
What Quran say about that, are we part of that group if we dont doing thing they doo?

                  Peace Stone

Unfortunately the mosques today have turned far away from the true way of following Islam based on the quran alone. Many of the religious Imams or clergymen simply sit there giving out speeches based on Hadith and nothing based on Quran. Mosques also differ in the fact that they now belong to particular sects. In basic terms sunni or shia mosques. But even within those you find different groups even based on ethnic backgrounds.

This is not how we should be. We should all be as one under one faith.

I wish everyone thought like us,we would live in a peace,war-free community and Islam wouldnt have these unwanted sects that make muslims kill muslims.Terrorsits kill innocent people. Why cant we all co-exist together and leave the rest To Allah. We need to rise, because we are the true path of Islam, because we follow and worship Allah and no one else.

                      Peace,
                      Respect.

This is True and I respect this idea and think/believe that we should do everything and anythin gin our power to make sure that this community not only grows but also remains as strong and also becomes a good example to non-muslims. I tried long time ago to point to a difference between sunnis and muslims and my goal was not to start an argument, we have too many of them but merely to let non-muslims and non-sunnis know and see and more, witness, the Real Islam.

                      God knows Best,
                      Glory be to God,
                      God Bless you.

                      Peace. handshake
