They said "O Shuayb! Much of what thou sayest we do not understand! In fact among us we see that thou hast no strength! Were it not for thy family, we should certainly have ( &nbsp stoned thee! For thou hast among us no great position!" 1191

(The father) replied "Dost thou hate my gods, O Abraham? If thou forbear not, I will indeed stone thee ( &nbsp now get away from me for a good long while!" .1946

The (people) said "For us, We augur an evil omen from you if ye desist not, we will certainly stone you ( &nbsp , or a grievous punishment indeed will be inflicted on you by us." 3618

"For me, I have sought Safety with my Lord and your Lord, against your stoning me ( &nbsp . 4420

They said "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned ( ) " 26116

These made me feel like Rajm means rejection or deportation, or something like that, this happened after a discution with my brother about hajj and the myth stoning of satan , he said while throwing the stones, they say Ramiy of pebbles and not rajm of pebbles for it cannot be said
Maybe they changed the meaning of this word because the hadiths were collected by non arabs, specially the sounni collections

    • Bukhari , born iat Boukhara, in the persian province of Khorassan.
    • Moslem, also known as Ab? al-Husayn , Born in Nishapur in Iran
    • Nassaii born at the province of An-Nassa n in Iran
    • Tirmizi , boen at the persian province of Sourkhan-Daria in the borders of afghanistan
    • Abu Dawud Born at Sijistan South east of 'Iran
    • Ibn Mjah born at Qazvin, in Iran.
Amazing how all those who are behind the creation of sects are non arabs, and the arabic language isn't their mother tongue, and the sounnah sect is the creation of persians , i don't ger it, where were the arabs ? i went out of the subject a bit, while writing this info
well the subject is stoning or rejection , RAJM
      Thank u

      Salam loxbox13

it seems that in old ages when people of a city wanted to expel or deport someone from the city, they throw stones at the person to force him leave the city.
RAJM is not stoning to death as sects and ordinary people think. it is very clear from the Quran

      3877
He said Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast

Shaitan wasn't stoned to death, he expelled from his station. many of Messengers deported from their homeland too as you mentioned.

      peace
