Salaam brothers and sister may I ask which translation of qu,ran is the best and more accurate for me to study I was given a qu,ran in modern English and some of the modern English transation takes the beuty of the original Arabic I am only beginning the path and I have studied to some extent but I wish to study more but need an authentic translation can advice me please thank you salaam sister Rose

My advice is to use several transaltions so as to get the different possibilties on the meanings/words.

I second Layth's advice, which is pretty much what I do. I tend to favor Ahmed Ali's Al-Quran.
