Has anyone had a dream of the Prophet?

Never had a dream about any of the Prophets, but I have had one dream where I died in it, floated up into a golden light, and communicated with God (it really wasn't conversation... just this deep understanding phenomena thing), then returned alive to the dream for awhile longer before waking. Also had a dream where an angel (a white luminous being floating in the air - only saw the illumination, no wings, feet, face, hands, etc.) came to me to warn me (this one woke me up!).

Still trying to figure that out, sort of. The explanation is to relate the entire dream/vision as best as I can so maybe...
I was in a dream where I entered this cave that was supposed to contain the israelites and I was looking for either an israelite or some of their 'stuff' so I could possibly find something/someone interesting to interact with and help me understand judaism a bit better. After a boring dream where I just seemed to wander around never finding anyone or anything interesting, I gave up on the idea and was leaving the cave entrance/exit (just this hole in the ground I was climbing out of) when I saw the angel. I flew up beside it and it told me "did you know you were being followed by the devil?", which of course got me to immediately swing around to look. There it was in the hole trying to get out, but it was too big to fit thru the cave's entrance/exit. I woke up.
Now, what was the reason for the dream/vision?
1)Was the warning just for the immediate circumstances to let me know just that by seeking the Israelites was enough of a reason for the devil to be following me around and placing me in danger? (well, in danger until I quit and left the hole)
2)Or, was it a warning on a bigger level as in 7175, such as in a warning not to go astray by dwelling on contacting, studying, or even dealing with judaism?
3)Another reason is one that I?m still pondering?

I'd try to have the dream again in a lucid state, if possible. As you're drifting off to sleep, repeatedly tell yourself to be aware of your dreaming. Plant the idea in your mind over and over again as you're fading. And also try to revisit the idea of the same dream while drifting off, visualizing the angel. Might help bring illumination.

Most of my lucid dreams occur in the early mornings just before I awake - but this one occurred in the middle of the night and I was not aware I was in a dream so it wasn't one of the lucid ones.

Personally, and probably because of this dream, I do not EVER want to go there AGAIN!!! Don't mind seeing an angel as that was kind of awesome, but if I have to also put up with seeing the devil again then forget it... plus there's my dream reasons #1 and #2 not to return, and my dream reason below.
After pondering a bit, I came up with a third possible reason for this particular warning from the angel as augmented by the presence of the devil I realize I'm surrounded by infidels (moron christians - you know, the ones who constantly spew hate speech about islam, are so materialistic, etc. - and for the israelite connection in the dream, they totally support the zionist agenda), and perhaps the warning is to remind me that as long as I'm in their midst I will have this devil lurking about me placing me in danger.

OK - I've recently been attending friday prayers at a local Islamic Center (of Sunni dominance) to meet other Muslims (since it's temptingly close to my home... ) and thus broaden my understanding of Islam - figured it would enhance my using of just the english translations of the Qur'an (and logic) to understand Islam. However, I have noticed this experience seems to expose me to the more 'backward' aspects of 'islamic' customs (such as the hadith and misinterprettion stuff that I dispute, not "Qur'an only" stuff thart inspires me), all of which I have so far been able to pretty much avoid getting dragged into.
Could be that the Angel warning of the devil's pursuit of me was to prepare me for this, knowing I had recently acknowledged in my heart and mind that I was Muslim, it was also warning me that the devil could be pursuing me even around practicing Muslims where I thought it should be free of the devil's influence...
Fortunately, I've also been searching a bit further than the nearby masjid, and have attended meetings of the "Muslims for Progressive Values" in Atlanta, where I don't see so much blind following of the hadith customs... but still I try to stay dilligently devoted to just the Qur'an (and God's direct inspirations) and hope to avoid straying from God's intended path. hail
