    Hello friends

I have been thinking about the reason why non-marital sex is such a big No-No. Surely Allah gave us sex so we could enjoy it, why not let us roam free?

    I have a theory...

The Quran speaks much about taking care of the children, especially the orphans. That sends a clear message that the children are very important and we should do our outmost to give each and every person on this planet a happy childhood. Happy child = Happy planet.
Growing up without parents must be one of the hardest things a human can go through. Every child must have a little of mummy and a little of daddy in order to learn and grow into a good and descent adult. It is an absolute fact that most criminals, thieves and bad guys come from broken homes or they are orphans.

So, Allah is not forbidding us from having sex because we like it, he is just protecting his children. A couple must (before having sex) clearly show that they will take care of any child that will may be the result of them having intercourse. In normal ways a Nikkah or marriage takes care of that.

So, in other words, it is not the sex act itself that is the sin. The sin is not being a parent to your child.
