    Salaaman LB13,

What i meants by , i have the truth until i find better, meaning, right now i believe there is 2 salats, few months ago i believed they're 3 , so i'm not gonna wait until i find the ultimate truth to live my life, so to me, it's progress, understanding better with time. I heard people a while ago saying there's only 2 salats, but i couldn't agree that time, i couldn't see it , it took me time to realise what i understand now.

I understood what you meant in your previous post, but I quoted you 10109 to show that we don't have to rush, but our progress has to follow the guidance of Allah. And Allah will surely guide us all if we do

Research + Sabr + Ask for His help = True Guidance.

Rush may lead us to get astray.

What i mean about a word has multiple meanings in general, not in the sentence, for example, la hand of god , does it mean also power or possesion ? everywhere hand seems to mean wealth and power and possesion, except in sourah joseph where women cut the hands, sounded to me like a hand, the one with 5 fingers

I personally take it the possible usage of hand in all ways. For example

Government hands are lengthy. It does not mean that Government got hands with 5 fingers but it is common term used in all languages.

This DOES NOT mean a hand in Arabic got different or multiple meanings.

I hope you understand what I mean, inshaAllah.

I might be wrong in these too, because i realised lately after verifying your posts, that i had figured many things wrong. thatnks for the many correction specially giving the verses so i could verify how true your posts were

    You are welcome.

But, no need to thank me brother, I will have my reward with Allah, inshaAllah. And be thankful to Allah as He is the one who guides us through anyone he choses. We are just a tool to Him angel

May Allah guide us all towards the correct path pr

I was doing some studies and came across the verse 652.. very delayed response but anyway

      (652)

652 (Asad) Hence, repulse not those who at morn and evening invoke their Sustainer, seeking His countenance. Thou art in no wise accountable for them-just as they are in no wise accountable for thee -and thou hast therefore no right to repulse them for then thou wouldst be among the evildoers.

today some muslims do their salat 2 times a day.. other muslims would repulse them, so would that be considered evil doing??

Yep, sure (btw, I didn't say it wouldn't make sense, merely it makes more sense if you include non-muslims in the verse).

      And do not turn away those who call on their Lord at dawn and dusk seeking His presence;

"And do not turn away" strikes me as an odd thing to say to a person who prays twice a day anyway. It's like me and you are both muslims and both pray twice a day, and Allah says to me, "do not turn away from her". Why would I turn away from someone who is both muslim and prays just like me? The verse makes more sense if the "those who call on their Lord and dawn and dusk" are somehow not the followers of Muhammad, but still pray twice a day. Then the command makes a bit more sense. Don't turn away from those people who pray twice a day, regardless if they do not follow that which you follow.

ok i see what you mean though i dont think the people addressed were mushrikeen. it seems to imply people who believe in God. and wouldnt the messenger guide those who are doing shirk? he would speak out for justice so not saying anything seems odd. so in a sense they could be muslim if they believed in god and did good..

      thats my understanding, Allahu alem.
