This is a daily show an excellent topics. Yesterday he talked about the contradiction in hadith regarding the writing of hadiths. He pointed out the illogical nature of these hadiths like how one hadith says Abu Hurreira can not write and yet he said Sunni scholars claimed that hadiths were written. he only said that the case about how hadiths were initially forbidded to be written but later allowed is false since Abu Hurreira has a hadith were he says the prophet ordered them to burn any book except Quran when he saw them writing stuff from him. yet Abu Hurriera was in the end of the time of the prophet. So that means hadiths were still forbidded to be written till the end of prophet's time. He also said that the case that the hadiths were forbidden to be written because of fear of mixing with the Quran contradicts that timing. Since early Quranic verses are no different than later ones. Apparently Sunnis claimed that hadith were forbidden initially but allowed later. He then asked why were they not worried about the mixing of the Quran in the Quran's later stages. He also says that the hadith all show us that the transfers were oral like "hadathani" and "Akhbarani". Meaning I was told and I was informed etc. He also showed many hadiths that says hadiths were not written by the companions and that the companions all said the the prophet left nothing but the Quran after him. He also showed hadiths that attack the companions' character saying that Sunnis tell us they were the best of people yet their hadiths tell us different. Good videos and excellent lecture series. We need to find a way to translate these videos to English. Egypt is now making the Quranist almost mainstream. Rifai is very mannered and calm. And he has a whole show for himself. He is going to start a new trend as this continues since the Dream 2 channel is very popular in Egypt. His show also is at prime time at 6 in evening and then the repeat at 10 next morning. His show also deals with otrher issues like divorce and wisdom and abrogation etc. Good stuff.
