How i became a Quranist and a feeling i had
-
S.A, I'm 13 Basically i was a Quranist all my life because my family wasn't so religious like some Sunnis here (my family believes in God and Muhammad pbuh) , my grandma is more religious and should be a quranist because when i was talking to her about hadiths yesterday she said what are those? rotfl
After i reached puberty when i heard the word Sunnet for the first time i felt miserable (might be a sign from Allah) and when i heard Hadith and a group on fb called Hadith of the day i also felt miserable for no reason(could be also a sign from the Almighty), when i was little and saw women wearing hijab i was like... why the hell they wear that, its so unfashioned. And on all those Sunnis keeping the beards i thought the same (no offence). So if Sunni islam was the God's real religion, why would it look ridicilous? I started reading Qu'ran on pc (only my best friend knows because i had no reason to talk about it lol, well now you know it too..) but I'm addicted to Naruto Shippuuden Openings and Original soundtracks, so i listen to them all day so i searched in google for music( i saw sunnis on TV saying its haram and stuff) and on yahoo answers i saw an answer saying a hadith about how the prophet saws put his fingers on his ears when he listened to a shepherd's w/e, so basicaly to that guy's answer it was haram, then again it searched more and i saw one saying its halal, in the end I found some reasonable hadiths (i didn't know they shouldn't be followed) giving proof its actually halal ( so it's not Qu'ran forbidden and it's not Sunni forbidden (altho most sunnis dont know that) so i was feeling great about it, and i searched for it again so id feel great again and then i found a website submitters.org and i was so delighted to find reasonable arguments that Hadiths are false and Qu'ran is 100% complete and if God would want to prohibit something he would do it in Qu'ran, all Sunni's can say is
You're not a muslim yeah because you're ment to follow Muhammad saws (even tho 99% of hadiths got nothing to do about Muhammad saws except that they are made up about him), and i was so glad to come on the right way, the one i was when i was borned, believing in Qu'ran only, Hadiths and Sunnah are innovations of Satan to trick us into polytheism, he propably possessed Al Bukhari or something -\ and i was glad the real islam religion wasn't ridicilous like sunni, ex Sunni make their women wear hijabs when it's not neccesary >D poooolyyytheism tempt cough I'm also 70% sure Khalifa was another messenger of Allah and he was right and he put us in the right way by rejecting made up hadiths. In Qu'ran itself it said that Muhammad saws once tried to make something haram without being and God admonished him, only God can prohibit and permit stuff and he communicates us through Qu'ran that Muhammad saws told us. In Qu'ran also it told that some people would fake stuff after Muhammad saws died and that would cause sects (ex. Sunni and Shia) so the only real religion of islam is Quran-only because it is no sect but the original one.Allah knows best )
Peace.
p.s can someone answer me this question is watching Japanese animes sin ( im not turning shinto or sumthing dont worry) and remember they were the reason I'm on the right way now, Allah propably helped me through those. Does Qu'ran itself says the picture makers will be in hell (anime characters are different they have unusual eyes and nose and stuff) and sorry for the grammar mistakes my native language is albanian and im only 13, God gave me a power called being smarter then some kids at my age mostly unreligiously smart(im mostly)

Welcome to the forum.
No, the quran does not say picture makers will be in hell. Can you expound on how anime helped you? Sounds very interesting.

Well the anime i watch, Naruto Shippuuden, got epic music which i like listening all day so i searched many times till asking if music is haram till i found the website submission.org saying good stuff about the music then i saw their belief ( which i think its true) on how wrong the hadiths are, i never knew that before i thought there was no such thing as quranists but either Sunni or Sh'ia, so im basically a Qu'ranist now )
Oh and animes have turned me in a better person then the kids around my age who listen rap and brag all day thinking it makes them mature, watching porn and claiming to had sex

Agreed, anime is awesome though I never could get into Naruto )

Well my preferences are tighter storylines and the ones with decent non-cliffhanger endings where we don't have to go and buy the manga are cool. Also, anything rambling over more than 26 episodes gets me rattled. Watched a whole lot, but some faves are Death Note, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Witch hunter Robin, Mushishi.

Well be careful of Khalifa. It does not take "Code 19" to see the logic of Qur'an-alone. I personally use the ahadith as examples because not everything is in the Qur'an (e.g. months of Pilgrimage and Sacred Months, or what is the significance of the splitting of the moon etc.). This is because it was well-known at the time or common-sense. Likewise there is no reason not to pray 5 times because it cannot be conclusively disproved (so more the better and more enjoyable plus there is community cohesion). Also method or traditional prayer is good since you can still choose what to recite. Just pray in moderate tone all the time and mention Allah (SWT) only. Basically I think without definite proof of speculation (conjecture) we should be as similar to the other Muslims as we can. This is because community disunity due to conjecture is not worth it when the Message of Islam is so plain and simple (e.g. charity, remembering Allah (SWT)). Ahadith should be accepted (not held as obligatory or enforced) based on their cohesion with the Message. It is good to take a moderate stance with "Qur'an-Alone" and keep in mind "no compulsion in religion". There are logical and illogical points for both Qur'an-Alone and Sunni etc.

If in Qu'ran doesn't say pray salat 5 times, then if you pray it its haram, it's like unknowingly submitting yourself to Satan who was the reason the major part of muslims pray 5 times instead of 2/3 or how much it is on Qu'ran, no hadith should be taken for example, there are more evil hadiths then good ones ( who were used just to not think bukhari was an enemy and it worked for the deceivers) and there are bad hadiths people think they're good (example Wear hijab, MUST keep a beard, music haram, etc, the reason "Islam" is viewed as an awfull religion by the non-believers. If it were to believe in Qu'ran only that would be better, afterall Allah saw this comming as he put in Qu'ran, a reason too is because he knows everything, praise be to Allah.

Greetings and peace group

It is good and advisable to follow the Guidance in Qu'ran as much as one is able--but Whose Guidance is it? The Message and the Author are far different. Don't neglect the Author for the Message! The key is to be a monotheist and a good person (which should follow naturally). Follow the Message, but never get so tied up in the Message that you neglect the Author--it is an especially sad sort of polytheism/shirk. Follow Allah through the Guidance in the Qu'ran--but follow Allah and not the Qu'ran. Did Abraham (peace upon him and all prophets) have the Qu'ran to follow?
We need Allah, but Allah has neither need of us nor anything/anyone else. Following the Qu'ran and being the best person possible does not compel Allah in the slightest. Have you considered that faith is like a sail? If faith is like a sail, then Allah is the provider of wind. Allah is most mighty and most merciful.
Btw, manga was used to encourage my oldest daughter to read more and develop her reading skills. Not only has that worked, but she has incorporated it into her art. I know--cool story bro.
May Allah see fit to bless all with useful knowledge, and guide all seekers.

Salah is not prayer. It is like a glorification or blessing which is why even Allah (SWT) and His angels in 3356 "send blessings" (yuallna) on Muhammad (SAW). Thus there is no reason why glorification is not also salah, though the salah are mentioned. The Qur'an says we should perform wudu before rising up to do so. Please read my article entitled "Salaat in the Qur'an Alone".
Peace.
