    Salaam brother rahenijaat1,

    bravo

    Very well said, MashaAllah.

I would like to add one more thing that wives of Prophet are more important for us than sahaba, but Allah did not will to tell even their names.

    4174
4174 O people, proof has come to you from your Lord, and We have sent down to you a guiding light.

This is the only PROOF we have to judge everything, if anything is not mentioned in AlQuraan that means it is not needed in Islam.

If we accept the names of sahabas that is taken/accepted in todays world then we may fall under the category of the following

    1240

1240 What you serve besides Him are nothing except names which you have created, both you and your fathers, Allah has not sent down any authority for such. The judgment is for none except Allah. He has ordered that none be served except He. That is the true system, but most of the people do not know.

May Allah protect us all from evil and guide us all to His true path pr

but, since, Allah didn't mention, in His Exalted Book of Islam

Where in the Quran which says that "This is the book of Islam"???

Do you think that this new-muslim, is still a muslim?

He/she could be already muslim although he never ever read the Quran before...
As thus he/she is not a 'new muslim' at all..

2)---Do you think that the new-muslim, by not accepting these names as the names of the companions of the Prophet,-----is out of Islam?

Yes Definitely! He's out of Islam!!
Given Islam (with capital I) are actually Sunniism..
As thus.. the sooner he/she is getting out of Islam.. the better... for his/her sake...

And.. not recognizing Abu Bakar, Umar, Usman, Ali, Fatima, Hasan, Hussain, Abu Huraira, Abdullah ibn Umar, Abdullah ibn Abbaas Radiallahu Anhu as the true companion of Prophets.. is certainly can be considered out of SUNNIISM.. An INFIDEL! A MURTAD!!
Or even worse those who said that Abu Bakar and Aisha are hypocrites such as the INFIDEL SHIITES must be PUT TO DEATH!!
      ARRGGHHH!!

      Salam / Peace

Is Denier of the names of Sahaba,---"out of Islam"???

Knowing those names of the Sahaba, will not benefit us in the least,-----because, no one else, but Allah Himself has stopped us to establish any relationship with those Sahaba.

-----"That was a nation (the Messengers, their companions) which has passed away. For them is that which they earned, and for you is that which you earn. And you will not be asked of what they used to do." (Al-Baqarah-134)
Yes, Allah will not ask us what did they use to do,---what did they use to say,---and what did they narrate about Islam and about the sayings of the Prophet.

Yes, nothing,----Allah guarantees us that He will not ask us about anything that those Sahaba used to do, and used to say.

According to Allah, we have no relationship with what they did, and what they said.

Since Sunnism or Shiism is a religion of corporation (shirk), of course denying one sahaba is enough for being fired by the board corporation, which the names of the most powerful ones adorn all mosques. Here is a trunkated list of members of corporation according to the Sunni religion

God + Muhammad (you have to add many praises after especially the name of this one) + Abu Bakr + Omar bin Khattab + Osman bin Affan + Ali bin Abi Talib + Abu Hurayra + Ibn Abbas + Zayd bin Thabit + Ubay bin Ka'b + (add a few hundred more names here) + Hasan + Hussein + Imama Shafii + Imam Abu Hanifa + Iman bin Malik + Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal + Imam this + Imam that + Buhkari + Muslim + Tirmizi + Abu Dawod + Ibn Hanbal + Ibn Majah + This hadith book + That hadith book + This big alim + That big alim + (adda few dozen names) + This lesser big alim + that a lesser big alim + (add a few hundred names)

"Each of these should be considered and respected. Their hadiths, their khabar, their ijtihad, their sharh, their fatwa should always be preferred to the verses of the Quran. Though the Quran should always be given the highest place in theory, but in practice it should always be the last book to be followed, since all others explain the Quran and witohut them the Quran would be a useless book!"

Sunnism is this in nutshell. A religion of ignorance, shirk and backwardness. Of course, Shiism is no different.

              Peace,
              Edip

I don`t see any verse about companions in Quran. I do see many verses on Muhammed doing Gods will alone. I do see verses about other believers. And why would a man doing Gods will alone, need companions? That is like saying God needs companions. It does not fit.

Sunnism is completely backward yes. While I think shia-hadith is a notch better, its still full of nonsense. And I havent seen Ibadi-hadith, but from what I hear, some of them are the same, some different. Probably just as full of nonsense.

I remember when I first discovered The Quran. I had no idea about hadith. But I read it on my own, and started to follow it. And with my heart full of belief, I sought to find my kindred. The Believers, whom I expected so much from, after reading The Quran. Luckily it didn`t occur to me for years, to go to muslim websites. God protected me, and taught me the Quran, in the mean time. I became solid in faith. And after some time, it occured to me, to go to an "islamic" website, where there was a forum.

The experience was awful. I couldn`t recognize Islam there at all. I voiced some of my view on Islam, and I was called a troublemaker, a disbeliever. And this to a person who cried for the beauty of the Quran.

I have never known the names of the sahaba. Yet I have reached deep insights into the Quran.
And the kind of, who belongs to what race and name, mentality I discovered at this "islamic" website, is horrifying. A lot of the posters advertised their race. "Proud moroccan" for instance.

These were sunnis. Later I also talked to some shia in real life. I said "I am a muslim", and I asked if they were muslim too. And one of the woman bowed their head and said "shia", like it was shameful. That must have been some odd reference to "shia is not that good, but we are shia". Like it is a part of their soul. Born bad. lol.

I didnt know how to pray either, but I read the Quran, and came to the conclusion that it was three prayers, and anyhow that was natural to pray. Folded hans, like christians, good enough. And later I also met a former sunni muslim, whom I asked if he could show me the sunni prayer. I was shocked, it look more like a military ritual than anything else. He thought it was silly himself and barely wouldnt show me. But the look in his eye. Completely blank, do not think, exercise ritual.

Twisted religion, can be so bad. I can`t help but feel sorry for all those who grow up, with all this nonsense, and is taught this is about God. Because God is something quite entirely different.

Deny the names of Sahaba as much as you want. You can go all your life knowing nothing about them, and excelling in Islam. And seeing what all this hadithism has led to, that is probably the best.

                      Salam and Peace!

                      ================================================================

Whatever those companions of the Prophet did, they did for themselves.
The question is,----what are we doing for ourselves????

The whole of the last Ummah are only making and accepting those righteous Sahaba as our heroes, guides and worshipping them!!!

Very strange!-----Our Allah is declaring that people have no relationship with those righteous people (Sahaba and others) of the past.
Whatever they did, whatever they said about Deen, whatever they narrated about Deen and Islam-----Allah declares that we people will not be asked about that.

And if we will not be asked about what those Sahaba did and narrated about Islam and Quran, then very clearly their narrations for which we will not be asked, those narrations are not for us to follow at all.

We will be asked about what we understand of Al-Quran and how we follow The Teachings given in it.

-------"That was a nation (the Messengers, their companions) which has passed away. For them is that which they earned, and for you is that which you earn. And you will not be asked of what they used to do." (Al-Baqarah-134)

Keeping in mind, the above Declaration of Allah, we will be not be asked what was the names, deeds, achievements, narrations of Al-Quran, etc., of those Sahaba of the Prophet.

So good and so nice, oh my Allah!
What a Wisdom of yours, oh my Allah!
Thanks a lot oh my Allah!

                      Subhan Allah!
                      Alhamdolillah!

                      My simple question is that

If a non-muslim says, "I am not denying that the Prophet had no companions. The Prophet had companions, because it is in The Quran.-----But the names are not in Allah's Book. So I will not accept the names---(Abu Bakar, Aysha, Umar, Usman, Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, Hussain, Abu Huraira, Abdullah ibn Umar, Abdullah ibn Abbaas)----as the names of the wives, children and companions of the Propeht.
Because these names are in the books of history. And Allah does not Command us to have Iman in the books of history.

That non-muslim asks if he is out of Islam???

                      Give a simple answer!

If your answer is that he is out of Islam,---then in that case, your answer must be supported by a Verse from Allah's Quran.
Because when a person fulfills the basic requirements of Iman, (Iman in Allah,---the last Prophet and all the previous Prophets and Messengers,---Al-Quran and all the previous Scriptures,---Angels,---and The Judgement Day),---then Allah declares him a momin.

And if by not accepting the names of Sahaba (names are not mentioned in Al-Quran, it is in the history), he is out of Islam,-----then It is only Allah alone Who can declare him out of Islam.

No answer will be accepted if it is not supported by Allah's Verse from The Exalted Quran.

                        Salam and Peace, brother!

You are completely right, when you say---"And seeing what all this hadithism has led to, that is probably the best."---
Indeed, the best thing is to deny the names of the Sahaba, right away.
And once you have done that,----you very easily throw down the burden of the "Witchcraft Narrations" sinfully linked with the names of those Sahaba.

There is no come back for this ummah anymore when more than 99.99% set up partner with Allah's Holy and Exalted Quran.
And as such, the ummah is not made responsible to rule the earth,---they are made responsible to call people to Allah alone, means Al-Quran alone.-----Tha's it!

Seems to be a gaping logical hole in sunni and other hadithist teachings, since Sunna Mohammed, is not Sunna God.

Mohammed only does Gods will. Anything he does or says is from God.
Hadithists clearly distuingish between Prophet Mohammed, and God, or being inspired by God.
These hadiths are so called "hadith qudsi".
So they have this historical person "Mohammed" who apparently says and does things of his own.
Which then logically must be completely innovated. And looking at the quality of hadith, that seems to be obvious.
Not that I believe in hadith qudsi either, but here you have a reason for rejecting most of hadith litterature. And since so much is forged, you might aswell consider the rest very likely to be forged aswell.

Same thing with Obeying Mohammed is Obeying God. But Mohammed in hadith, is not God is it.
