Who will help build a Natural Republic ?

Peace to all,
No Herbman, its not like that, were not a hippy commune, I am from a Native American tribe that has existed for thousands of years, my people have mostly lost their religion, traditions, culture, language, etc. We have a beautiful area on Lake Superior, our land is sovereign and we make our own laws, have our own economy, schools, colleges, businesses, government. What we need most is a new philosophy and way of life and I believe Islam is the closest thing to our original religion which we lost and will never recover. True Islam is the only thing that can help our people recover and heal our historical wounds. We have so much potential here but I need help. Heres a few clips of my community, you can actually see where I live in this clip.

...heres a clip of our casino...
Salaam Dear brother Kurt,
I'm not trying to judge you, but can you explain why you're advertising the casino to start with? I refer you to the verses 590, 91 below as the starting point of my dialogue with you.
Peace,
KhalilThe Qur'aan, verses 590 & 91.

Agreeing with kgwithknob; God makes it rather clear that casinos have no place in an islamic community/natural republic. I realize that these casinos stem from an economic and political reality, but in my mind at least such places are pretty much the embodiment of everything that is wrong with the world.
My own willingness to relocate hinges on the will of others to do the same. I believe very strongly that true islam is a group activity, something that can not be fully understood or lived as long as we remain geographically separated. My biggest hope for this worldly life is to live in close proximity with others of the same persuasion, trying to remain true to the Book in our daily lives, free from oppression and interference by the rejectors and the misguided ones.
Kurt, out of curiosity, just how much autonomy does your community enjoy from state and federal authorities and their laws?

Peace,
Khalil, I didnt put the casino first, theres a clip of our community before that, we have several square miles of land and water, we have around 2000 members, we employ around 600 people members of our tribe and nonmembers, the casino just happens to be the largest business, we also have stores, medical clinic, dental, schools, colleges, police, etc. I am very aware of islams position on gambling, but this has nothing to do with what im hoping to do. Islam is against drinking alcohol also but almost every tribal member here is a drinker and drug abuse is prevalent, lets attack these problems after we establish ourselves, not before. Before we were allowed to have casinos because of our sovereign status, we were dirt poor, and noone in the state or federal government helped us at all. We had to fight in courts to win these rights and now with a casino we generate around 4o million a year of revenues, and with this money we have put it back into the community and developed many services. I understand if its too much to ask, I knew it would be just a dream, but I think im going to give it a try all by myself soon. I hope your ok with the golf course? Also Magnus, we are completely sovereign and independent because we always were, we reserved our rights, they werent given to us. The states have absolutely no power over us , and the federal government can only have authority over what are called the Major crimes, such as a murder, or rape on the rez, then we both have concurrent jurisdiction to prosecute, other than that we can and always have done what we think is best for ourselves. The only thing we are missing is our way of life wich has been destroyed.

Salaam dear brother Kurt,
Looking back into your posts, I knew it all along that your intention is a Godly one. I did question you on purpose, so you yourself start elaborating on the matter. It is indeed a highly complicated and difficult, but a noble undertaking.
You said you were going to give it a try all by yourself. Can you explain how you intend to start your first steps toward this noble endeavor? Is there anyone else alongside with you in your community helping with the cause? Please explain the real life probability and practicality of bringing about an Islamic society, starting within your own community. Tell us how individuals like me can help you with the cause. Just tell us in layman terms and as much as you can to make it clearer for us, in a 1, 2, 3, ?- step plan.
Peace,

Peace Kurt,
I am so sympathetic to your situation. As an American of British Isles/Lithuanian descent, I have zero cultural/religious/extant connections with my ancestors. Really floating. I tried to make something for my kids, but failed there. Still floating.
After reading all this thread's posts, I wonder about tribal attitudes. I live in Montana, know Indians as friends, and attend Native American conferences at the University of Montana (which is set to be a leader in this area.) The rez situation is so in need of inspiration and there is much searching. At age 48 I found the Quran has my answers, so I am with you on the benefits and beauty of the muslim way and the fact that it really is peace.
I have noticed that tribal rejuvenation, including close-to-original tribal spirituality, seems to be a primary concern with the Indians I have heard. I'm sure you have looked at this idea a lot. Have you talked with others there about your plans? I wonder what they have said to you.
I went through a dream in my mind--of a wave of Indian people in all the reservations in the US knowing the peace of being muslim as shown by the Quran... living with maximum possibilities. May God Almighty and All Compassionate give you wisdom and patience for this work. My hands are tied concering material help to you, but I will pray.

Salaam,
the foundation of a community is the structure of law underpinning it, if that is based upon legislation of a superior over an inferior man/woman, as all corporate structured courts of the modern world are, then it is a fraud upon the law.
Unless the base is correct it matters not what you build upon it.
The base is the footing you stand upon.
The natural/common law of the land is binding upon every modern court, and universal in its nature, every court is required to establish 5 points of a lawful court, one of those points is natural law.
You need not invent any laws, or search for new inventions to follow, the first and the last law is natural law.
You need not bring new Muslims into your community, simply educate those who wish to learn, if no one wishes to learn you have no community, as the first principle of being Muslim is you are made for knowledge.

Dear mods, can you remove my posts on this thread, i dont want the youtube links on here anymore, gives too much info on me.
Salam, I hope you want to share more information about your work in your community. That would be a great inspiration for everybody who want to get started with such a project without knowing how to. It would even be a great way to find people who are interested in and willing to help. Dont give up!

Peace to all,
Who among us would be willing to relocate, live and work in a community and help transform it according to Quranic principles. This will be a free and open society that allows all to live and work in peace, while the rest of us set an example as true Muslims, and hopefully draw others to join us. I believe this may become a possibility before too long and I will need the help of others in order to achieve anything. Im just curious who may be willing to join. You can inbox me if you dont want your name in public.
KurtWell.. all of those can be done even without relocating.. start with our own respective community, can be as small as family, neighborhood, company/workplace, group of friends and start from there. As for me I always promote tolerance, critical thinking, love, caring and awareness that "God" is not something which is far above and beyond. And tell people that they can reach God directly... that's it.. I also spread the message that islam and/or muslim is not bind to a specific rites or culture.. islam is an attitude not a religion...
Salam / Peace
